This used to be one of the best pubs in Ipswich. Not any more. The last couple of times I've visited it has had staff who can't be bothered, been dirty, the toilets are a disgrace. I'm not sure how it's doing as a music venue as there doesn't seem to have been anything going on when I've been there recently. Hopefully they'll get back to how they used to be.

venue itself is really nice but the drinks are pricey (as with most pubs) and when there is a live dj or band playing then it gets way too loud to be able to socialise with your friends.
