After visiting its sister pub on Boar Lane, tried this for comparison. Just as good. Same drinks menu, Great friendly and knowledge staff who are happy to advise. Nice looking bar with good spacing of tables and kept very clean. Eclectic mix of music and close to many of the cities bars / restaurants. Well worth a visit.

This has to be my favourite be at one, the bartender ruby made me some great cocktails (she was so right about the into the thick of it, both me and my partner loved it) and the music was upbeat and fun all night. Worth checking out if you’re nearby

I don't normally like cocktails, but this is the place to win around a non-cocktail-drinker! The choice is staggering, with about ten different options for each spirit, laid out in a menu with photos, so you know what to expect. I had an English Fizz and it was delicious. Aside from the taste, one of the things that normally puts me off cocktail bars is the service, with lots of fuss and showing off, but none of that here; the staff were friendly and helpful, and service fast and fuss-free. And finally, cost: they do 2-4-1 offers on weeknights, making the drinks (around £9-11) more affordable. As cocktail bars go, excellent. Oh, and decent music too.

Fantastic cocktail bar in Leeds city center. Staff are very engaging and will help you out if you don't know what you would like, they are also very knowledgeable on the spirits and are happy to give recommendations of you're just after a straight spirit, would recommend the Jager Mega Drive and the Bueno.
