A perfect place to stop for a pint or two and maybe some food. The location is great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The have a few TVs so you can watch the football etc which is good. Ordered some pork scratching and they were probably some of the best I'd ever had until the hairiest one in the world came out the bag 😄 couldn't bring myself to eat it. A great place, I'll definitely come back again

Beautiful rustic bar with a great atmosphere inside. Great lovely helpful staff and a nice selection of beers, ales and spirits. Nice selection of good pub grub, delicious and reasonable portions. Bigger than you think from the outside. Just a good old fashioned British boozer. Well worth a visit.

Really great space, lots of seating for different sized groups, interesting decor and a good range of beers rather than 34 IPAs and 6 generic lagers. Staff friendly and service efficient.

A chill pub in Leeds that's well priced and hobby friendly. I go all the time. The staff are friendly and attentive. The beer is well kept with a good selection. The food is good. I particularly like the pizzas. Don't try the ultimate sharer as a meal for one, be prepared to share that thing.

I work next door and have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. I rarely get the food but the range of beers and drinks they have available is great and whether it’s just a quick pint or an evening watching the sport on one of their many TVs the atmosphere and staff are always great. Great local pub for workers in town and would probably still come here even if I didn’t work next door.

A great place to eat and drink. Nice open plan layout with function room upstairs. A good choice of ales and drinks, food choices were wide ranging. My partner is a vegetarian and had a range of choices, I plumped for the fish and chips, one of the most flavoursome I have ever had. Staff were great and friendly, helping us to move tables. Would have given 5 stars, but, why o why have the telly on, then loud music blaring, consequently everyone has to raise their voices. Manager, please note who if any, are singing along to the music, who if any, are watching telly. Almost 100 per cent are talking to others ! Other than that personal opinion, its a friendly well managed and pleasant public house. Cheers

Very nice pub, and in my experience the staff have always been faultless. Great choice of beers and spirits and the prices are reasonable considering it's a city centre pub. The food is never great though, the fish finger wrap for example, whilst not being expensive, definitely tasted like Smart Price fish fingers - maybe charge £1 or £2 more and improve the quality. Still definitely worth a visit if you're in the area though.

Been a few times now to Editor’s Draught and I’ve always felt it’s had a good atmosphere with good service and friendly staff. I particularly like the choice of beers and the food is decent too. Definitely one of the best city pubs in Leeds.

Very nice bar in Leeds with lots of space to sit in. The waiters were very friendly and they recommended us a few beers, but the best thing are their cocktails. They also have a tapas offer at 3 for £8.

We visited the Editors draught twice while on a recent visit to Leeds. What a great pub. We went as they were showing the football as one of our party wanted to watch it. If you're not a football fan please don't let this put you off. The choice of beer was extensive, the staff were very friendly and although the football was playing it didn't stop the non football fans from enjoying the evening. The second time we went we ate, everyone in our party really enjoyed the food and the pizza cone was a real novelty and beat the 2 family members who tried to finish it. We will definitely return and my daughter (who lives in Leeds) has found her new favorite pub!

What they've done with the name of the pub is used the 2 different meanings of the same word. Although they've gone for a kind of newspaper/writing theme which would use the word DRAFT, as in the first version of a piece of writing. Where as it sells DRAUGHT beer. Which might mean it's either a pun or it's all the result of a clerical error where someone meant to get a sign made with "editors draft" on it but someone wrote it down wrong. This played on my mind somewhat while I ate chips and had a pint, which is all I really wanted in the first place. Nice chips and a decent pint though.

Nice atmosphere. Nice decor. Staff friendly, however one guy was really busy whilst others wandered around behind the bar seemingly doing something way more important than serving customers. When the guy served me my beer was fine. When the girl served me (after she'd finished her important stuff) she short measured on my pints, twice! Watch out you're paying for that inch of foam! Overall nice place I would go there again.

Generally speaking this is a pretty decent pub and can get pretty busy. It serves decent pub food and has a good selection of beers and spirits. The decor is good and there’s a function room upstairs. I’ve been here quite a bit and unfortunately had a few negative experiences too. Generally concerning the food. Ordering food when it’s busy appears to be a bad idea as it often gets mixed up, uncooked (fish in this instance) or items missed out. When challenging this, instead of an apology the manager blamed the chef as “he’s French” (?!?) 😮

It's a pub. Nothing exceptional but they have TVs for sport, and even a few booths with your own personal TV, although recommend reserving these ahead of time for any significant sporting event. I've only tried the pizza off the menu, which is very much a "get what you pay for" deal. It's decent value, but as a result, it's small enough to leave you still hungry.

Nice looking bar and the food is good value and the staff were helpful enough. However made the absolute classic mistake of not cooking the burger properly without asking first. Shouldn't really serve a burger red as it's not a steak and not safe to do so, but to do it without asking is a bit naughty. They lost a star for that, it's worth a visit, just make sure everything is cooked properly.

As two independent midwives rarely off call we popped in for a quick glass of wine after some medico-legal training nearby. I knew this pub previously and a long time ago as the Wellington but it's almost unrecognisable. We had a quiet drink, there's plenty of (outsized??) seats, it's quite large but feels nicely broken up into smaller snug spaces, the staff are pleasant. Nice pub.

One of the few places on my list of regular spots, the Editors Draught is a great place to grab some food or a drink with some friends or colleagues. The food here is good, the staff are friendly, and there is a good selection of ales. As with most good locations in the Leeds city centre area, this place can get busy, especially at lunch times and Friday evenings. If you're looking for somewhere quiet for an intimate evening, this isn't the place for you. There is a bookable space for meetings or other gatherings. Be sure to call ahead to book the space. The bookable space is upstairs with no disabled access to it.

Also been in on a good few occasion on offers day (pizza Thursday for example - 2 for 1) at 12 or just after to be told they've sold out of pizza... Things like this happen relatively regularly. I work nearby and this pub has changed ownership several times in a relatively short period, each time with a tendency to be wildly inconsistent on food, drinks and service. Under its current ownership, it is performing reasonably well so far, however it remains to be seen whether the same old problems resurface and the place changes hands yet again.

Replying to owner, I couldn't fault your pub, love the name but there wasn't anything unique about the pub that i would choose over any other, it's clean and comfortable and I'd describe it as a safe pub to visit if your visiting the area, like going to a weatherspoons but 100 times better.

Theres a good range of beers here, a bit different from the rather soulless bars in the bottom of nearby office blocks. Not too loud, with a few nooks and crannies to sit and have a chat with friends.
