We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at Mad Frans last week and the desserts were amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The team managed to squeeze myself and 3 friends in on a Saturday evening for their bottomless brunch menu after being let down by our previous booking last minute. The service was friendly and efficient with essentially zero wait time for drink refills and no umming and arring as to whether your current glass was actually empty (obviously nearing empty, we weren't there to take the piss). On the subject of beverages, you get ACTUAL Cocktails! No pre-mixed/from a tap/watered down nonsense most places are throwing out lately. Oh and the food was banging 👌🏻 I had the Lamb Shank and would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently used Mad Frans for a private function for a business event. The team were so helpful, set up exactly what we wanted and the food served was so much better than the hotel venues we have used in the past. I then decided to go along for a meal for valentines day - the food in myopinion on this menu was better than some very expensive restaurants I have eaten in - absolutely top class and once again great service. Absoutely my go to place now!

First visit here and will DEFINITELY be back. Me and my boyfriend both had the lamb shank (new on the menu) it fell off the bone 😋, the mash potato was silk like in texture, from the first bite I knew I wanted dessert. Sticky toffee was on the menu and it did not disappoint! The staff are supper attentive, lovely and come across genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is fab, trendy but not intimidating, the restaurant is clean and still has a good amount of room between tables for those concerned with social distancing. 100% will recommend! Thanks for a lovely meal.

Booked a table here with 8 of my colleagues a few weeks in advance. Great communication with Staff who also kept the kitchen open for us to have food later which was brilliant (had to preorder food but was no trouble, paid on the day) Food was lovely and the drinks weren't too expensive. One of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in a while. The beef was cooked perfectly as were the roast potatoes. My wife had the vegetarian option which was also superb. I’m into craft beer and there was a decent selection to choose from.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and we weren't disappointed. Excellent food and great service. Decent prices too. You can't go far wrong with the Truffle and Parmasan cheese mac bites as a starter, easily big enough to share. The roast beef main was delicious. We'll be back soon.

Warm, cosy, great music and amazing coffee. Lots of variety! Split inside with coffee shop downstairs and bar restaurant upstairs. Very close to Leeds station and canal.
