Reviews of O'Neill's Leeds
g. h.
Aimed squarely at the sports fan, big TV screens everywhere. This noisy megapub
won't please those wanting a quiet relaxing pint. The food was OK but nothing special. Reasonable prices. No cask or craft ales.
My first and last visit here, but the younger sports fan will love it.

Visited here with a group from work. Went upstairs as it was busy to find a table.
We got seated and tried to use the app to order which is by far the slowest app I’ve ever seen. Ended up going to the bar to order as it was quicker.
Once we had the first round in, we persevered with the app. Had to guess the table number as there wasn’t one on either of the two tables. (We asked the tables at either side of us and plumped for the middle value)
Service is good, staff very friendly.
The food looked good. I only had a few chips as I was eating later.
Yes it’s loud when busy.
the first time you go to the gents toilet, you feel like you will need a bag of breadcrumbs to find your way back out.
All in all. Not too bad a place.

Fantastic building and in a great location I remember being ere back in the 90s off my trolley but what a fantastic building and it’s great to see it looked after and made into a food place aswell the prices for central Leeds are reasonable the food menu looks amazing the staff seems to be all male but there freindly and service was prompt and friendly. The place looks very clean and the decor is just right plus the train station in a stones throw . If your coming off the train I’d give it call in it does have a loverly smell of food has I entered plus you can order at the bar or on the app check out the ceiling it’s a masterpiece

Went in about 7 30 pm and ordered a pie. 5 mins later I was told it was no longer available. Asked for fish and chips - also all gone. Ended up with this rather sad pizza.
Nice place and the food has been quite good before but a bit disappointing this time
S. A.
Lovely pub to visit, had a couple of pints in here on 3rd December. Myself and a friend went on a day trip to Leeds to do a bit of shopping. We ordered tapas 5 for £19, really good value and very nice too. I would certainly recommend, it was quiet busy but had no issue getting served and food didn't take too long either.
C. H.
Went here Saturday night on hen party and Angie behind the bar served us! Was so good as it was a large order because I had my discount so everyone was just telling her drinks but she did amazing and was so nice! There was another girl with blonde hair (can’t remember her name) that help my sister out! Overall really good service and was great for last bar for the hen party before returning to York!
H. C.
Been to O’Neills plenty of times for sports and a drink after work. Plenty of TVs ensuring you don’t miss any of the action and attentive staff are sure to keep you well hydrated 🤪
Will be back soon!
Came back for the champions league games yesterday and the experience didn’t disappoint. Always the best atmosphere and great food to accompany, if I could give 6 stars I would
T. L.
Nice pub but the food is somewhat bog-standard. No option on how to have the steak cooked and the tuna panini was extremely dry with the bread rock hard as if straight out of the freezer.
Stick to drinks only.
N. P.
Nice pub, could do with more seating.popular with O2 prioritys
P. C.
Called in for drinks and food on Sunday 5th December. It was quite steady away, we ordered a pint of Carling and a Pinot and soda, a Smothered Chicken main and a Southern Chicken wrap. Everything was lovely. The staff were great and to be honest ONeills is one of our favourite places in Leeds to have drinks and food. We didn't partake yesterday but their cocktails are fantastic, especially the Espresso Martinis.
T. L.
Good for drinking and sports. Food wasn't great with the philby steak being somewhat overdone and the panini rock hard. As for the "slaw" it can only be described as more of a "Pot Pourri", dry as a desert and totally inedible
W. O.
I really liked this place. Pleasant, helpful staff and a great range of drinks (although they'd run out of Merlot this particular day) and we were soon sorted. Great afternoon spent with an old friend in relaxed surroundings. How much better can it get?
Our next visit helped to answer that question. This time we ordered lunch. The menu was varied and interesting but we both chose the cheeseburgers. Great choice. I'm no food critic but the food was served hot, presented attractively and tasted good. Pleased with our lunch, we'll go again.
c. l.
Lovely place, food was amazing, excellent value for money. service was quick, staff were helpful.
A. K.
Visited here for lunch. I had the Southern fried chicken stack burger and my husband had the big double beef burger. Both were very nice. Good service.
S. K.
Located in a beautiful historic building, spacious, high ceilings, lots of screens and delicious cold guiness. What's not to like?
M. B.
Went on a Sunday afternoon, massive pub but absolutely dead.
Toliets are so far away from bar, you need to take a pack lunch and some hiking gear.
Clean and tidy enough though with plenty of seating.
D. N.
A charming little bar/pub, right in the centre of Leeds. Not far from the train station. Reasonable drinks pricing and very helpful staff.
Perfect for our little writers group to meet and drink and enjoy.
M. M.
Lovely pub in Leeds City centre. Great food on offer here,, good selection and fair prices. Please to staff and good service. Would highly recommend this pub.
H. E.
Came here for breakfast after a heavy night. Got the Irish hash and wasn't disappointed. It's not Michelin star but it's fairly cheap and is great for what it is.
S. J.
Beer and staff excellent but the real surprise was the food and how it was presented and that is why 5 stars . Whoever is working the kitchen your a superstar Thank you
T. G.
Went in with my daughter had the best mixed grill ever, food freshly cooked and excellent quality, loved the sausage, staff very friendly
K. A.
I live it here. Its fab for an after work drink before I head to the train. Fran and the team are fantastic. See you for a gin soon 😊
L. C.
Yeah this place is decent, have to be lucky to get a table, pints are good, foods decent.
D. G.
Always a friendly atmosphere, very friendly staff and great service. Warning for those who may have had a drink or two watch the steps on the way out 🤣
N. D.
Had a lovely meal of sausage and mash. Great smiley service with great value.
T. C.
Amazing place atmosphere bar staff and food is nice.
G. B.
Nice quiet place for a coffee on a workday. Not sure how quiet it would be during the evenings.
H. J.
Fantastic atmosphere and brilliant staff! Couldn’t of asked for a better night from the o Neil’s team
T. H.
A very nice pub, in a huge place with a cupola. They have cheap burgers, a fine deal almost every day, and huge screens to enjoy the actual sports event (even two in the same time). I will return here, when I visit Leeds next time.
P. W.
Confusion when ordering but manager agreed with us and we had very good meals at good price. He did what a manager should not like some places we have been.
Shame about amount to stairs !! I don't walk very well but security man on door held my arm to safely manage the front steps.
Well worth visiting.
G. S.
Thank you for an amazing service to both me and my dog. Not to mention a gammon steak with a pint of Guinness for £7 with the lunch promo. :)
A. L.
Food was amazing , beautiful restaurant and the staff were lovely .
R. P.
Good food. not expensive. Great steak sandwich with salad side for lunch last week.
W. T.
Great location and reasonably priced for the centre of Leeds. Great place to watch sport and perfect for pre drinks before heading to Elland Road.
K. H.
Really pleased with whole experience, (not normally a sports bar fan), food was good and great value. Table service was a real plus, shouldn’t all pubs be this way 🤔👍
S. H.
lovely friendly atmosphere, food well presented, execllent guality for the price, would highly recommend
A. S.
A great welcome to Leeds! We arrived at the station and made straight for lunch
The staff were good, it was tidy and welcoming and the food was delicious; at a reasonable price as well.
The corridor leading to the basement toilets was a good visit: it resembled a very tidy crypt style wine cellar.
J. M.
Nice pub serving decent food that is great value for money. Plenty of TV's to watch sport too
b. l.
Busy Saturday night..big screens with the football on good atmosphere
t. c.
What can i say came to leeds for the day and came here for food and drinks was well looked after by all the team couldn't fault them in any way
T. F.
Nice bar, friendly staff 😜
n. s.
Decent bar, decent drinks and the sport on too. Didn't have any food so can't comment.
K. l.
Always go here for breakfast after train to Leeds. Nice food good price and very convenient being so close to the station. Cater for vegetarians and the sausages are nice, not like some meat free types
M. N.
Great location and drink prices were very reasonable
j. h.
Excellent service and all round experience. The food is incredible for the prices!
A. W.
45 mins for 2 burgers at quiet time....slow
J.
Always pop in when in the area great service and fantastic atmosphere for sports!! Strongly recommend
J. f.
Great atmosphere, friendly efficient bar staff. Loved the live singers. Very helpful doorman who helped me down the outside steps! Will visit again on my next visit to Leeds.
M. P.
Great bar, great staff, fantastic cooked breakfast definitely recommend
P. T.
I have been coming to O'Neils for years it's my stop before I get the train. Lovely staff, great food too. I will be back again.
A. B.
I really like this place. Good selection of beers plus food if you wish. Not forgetting the Sport to watch whilst waiting for your crew to turn up. Bear in mind the hike to the toilets though. You'll get enough steps in just by going and coming back lol
R. O.
We came today for bottomless brunch and Keeley was fantastic! Really great service, didn’t have to chase more food and drinks and she was just generally super polite and welcoming. Will definitely be back soon!!!
F. H.
Incredible service, the sausage and mash was delicious. I come here very regularly and the team are always so lovely and helpful. One of my favourite city centre pubs and places to eat.
B. H.
Great atmosphere on a weekend! Food is lovely too!
g. t.
Interesting building but you need a map to find the toilets
M. A.
Vibrant city centre pub just a couple of minutes walk from the railway station. Good choice of cask ales and pleasant friendly staff.
M. E.
Good atmosphere great food and drink
U. #.
Audio is great, but would like to see free Wi-Fi on this square then video of The Black Prince.
Dothwr way lovely. Give us a call if you need any of the above. Thankyou Vic Reeves.
A. W.
Very good value lunch whilst shopping
R. C.
Back Again at O'Neills Leeds to escape from the rain and to enjoy a delicious Bangers and Mash and Pint of Diet Pepsi for only £6!! Absolutely Incredible Value that feel have stolen food so included a £2 Tip. Ihad the same during my Stop Over in Leeds on the way back from Newcastle in November and the price was the same. This time l also had a Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla ice cream. thought they would put the prices up due to the cost of gas and electricity, but no! just love it at this cosy O'Neill's pub, with warm comfort lighting and cosy furniture . This is a favourite haunt in Leeds that always go to when I'm in the city on my day of travels.
W. 7.
Great place to meet up with friends with a chilled out atmosphere!
T. H.
Called in again and STILL no drinks apart from lager except strong IPA
W. H.
Great food, great tv's for sport and a lovely welcoming team
S. “.
Nice set up, lovely domed arch/roof. Nice upstairs seating with a massive screen showing sports with smaller screens dotted around the bar. Decent food.
A. H.
Fantastic friendly pub. The barman Andrew is a credit to O'Neil. We popped in when first arriving in Leeds to ask for directions to our hotel. He put us right to the door. Then once unpacked we popped in for a drink and again he was very friendly and courteous. What a lovely young man.
J. O.
TV usually has some sport on nut best not going in when Leeds are playing. Nice cocktails and food is good especially the pie.
J. R.
Good breakfast but a bit rowdy.
D. H.
Brilliant historical record of our past
M. R.
Me and my wife hay a great time at O’Neills. The food was stunning and the drinks were a good price for town.
Can’t wait for their live music to start back on 31st June. A definite must if you have never been.
S. C.
Absolutely brilliant, looked after us so well. The staff were brilliant, reasonably priced for both drinks and food. A specially well earned thank you for Fran who was excellent in her service a credit to them, her personality and people skills was beyond words, once again thank you.
P. 1. h. r.
Can only give you 4 stars as haven't tried your food yet. We was in there on saturday 23rd sept 2021 for a few drinks after shopping and we had a great time. The drinks where great, the staff where friendly and approachable. Thank you :)
G. P.
Decent beers and a not unreasonable price
M. B.
Cheap and cheerful burger and chips along with a good drink. Ordering from your table in a big packed pub worked very well.
D. P.
Stunning venue, great service and sport.
B. R.
Not had a burger as good as this since I visited Nene Park in the mid 00s.
J. D.
Good atmosphere...a bit loud and busy but if that's what you like then go for it. City centre bar. Good drink choice. Nice unique "subway/tube" style domed room. Different!
A. H.
Great pub food well priced
s. p.
Amazing food . Table service .. Good staff
A. S.
well good
has decent range of veggie options 🤠
C. M.
Hi, I didn't have a negative experience, I only had 1 pint. I was in to watch Gaelic football but between the music and the Liverpool match at the same time I thought I'd go to the Irish centre instead. I'm sure O'Neill's is a great place for a night out in Leeds.
d. b.
Lovely pub, great staff, made hearing dog Benson welcome
M. T.
Friendly staff, food was not bad, beer was pretty good, nice atmosphere
A. C.
Nice place, food good at reasonable prices
M.
Good food for a decent price.
M. B. M.
Very nice staff, enjoyable atmosphere and very high standard food, a whole different world compared to the old management! Loved the vegan option of cauliflower bites, but not sure about the sauces that come with them. Are they vegan? Keep up the hard work.
G. ..
Came here after a really stressful day. Bar staff seemed very nice and friendly.
Woman behind us was unhappy with her service, but the staff member handled the complaint professionally and calmly which I can appreciate since I've worked in a pub before and understand how difficult unhappy customers can be.
4/5 for drink price and service, if I had ordered food my rating would probably change higher or lower depending on the quality. Despite this I definately would recommend. Good atmosphere.
D. M.
oneils is a great place to wine and dine but there's a guy that goes in there that's not a regular I was verbally abused by him and it put me off going on my own unless I was with friends but the other people are really pleasant to me I found I was much safer when I go earlier.
G. R.
Really convenient for the station. Nice airy and clean. Was quiet both times I stopped by.
G. W.
Booked a table for 8pm thinking we would be having food only to find the kitchen had closed. But Fran came over to our table and said she had spoken to the kitchen and they would do us food. Amazing! We had eaten here the day before and had enjoyed it so much we booked to come back again today. Beth said when we were ready to let her know and she would place the order. The staff here are brilliant and saved us from rummaging through the reduced section in Tesco's for tea. Can not rate them highly enough. Brilliant pub and atmosphere. We will be back when we next visit Leeds x
S. P.
Great bar, prices, range and friendly staff food was good as well. Central location would definitely come again.
N. G.
Wow! great visit. Lovely building and much better as a proper pub.
So much has improved since my last visit which was about 2 years ago.
Staff seem to enjoy there jobs more and its cleaners! Basic pub food but it was nice and came really quickly. Keep up the good work
D. B.
Nice atmosphere great staff good food will always go there when I,m in Leeds
L. M.
Have no faults what so ever! The staff are so lovely and helpful. Made my parents have a lovely anniversary with a couple of complimentary drinks just to make their day a little more special. I have been in for drinks and always a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!!!
S. M.
Nice gin and tonics and a big venue. Lots of seating upstairs as limited for tables on ground floor. Didn't eat but food look good and big portions.
T. B.
Very good. Food was great. About 10 minutes walk to the toilet but it was down stairs un like wetherspoons which is upstairs. 🤣🤣
M. J.
Amazing place to watch sports, loads of tvs!
A. N.
Stopped In here for breakfast before kicking off a stag do. Breakfast was great but the Guiness was average hence only the 4*.
R. R.
Quiet when we got there but no complaints
p. s.
Not been in here for over 30yrs. Very nostalgic and brought back a few memories. Used to be the Observatory, wall sinage read'are you observing or been observed'.
D. M. (.
Observatory, flares, something else and something before / after.. . . It's probably experiencing it's best iteration currently. Beer is alright, plenty of big screens, the bar staff are friendly
B. O.
Came here randomly and now i never wanna to leave again. Excellent food, delicious drinks, barstaff are incredible! definitely my favourite place in Leeds, and just across from the station! Next time I'm visiting I'm gonna skip there and stumble back.
L. R.
Went to watch sports here defo recommend booking upstairs 👌 plenty tvs so u won't miss anything.
They have a app available too to help with ordering food & drink makes it easier than queuing at the bar
D. P.
Started off well. Friendly staff and the food was edible. My partner really enjoyed his chicken and bacon salad. My chips and mushy peas were reasonable, but the fish was small for the price paid for a cod. It was mainly batter and I've had better.
The biggest problem was the stench of urine as you went into the bowels of the place to get to the restrooms. I'm told that someone had smeared excrement over the seat of one of the gents sit-down. The floor of the ladies was sticky but didn't smell and was otherwise clean.
Sort out the toilet area and the place would get a higher mark.
H. C.
Great location and friendly staff. Good food and decent drink range
p. s.
Nice place,busy good atmosphere.
J. C.
Best place for a decent g&t at a very attractive price for a double. Decent pub fayre and management very good, and honest. My colleague left a phone in error on his table and was relieved to find it was still there 3 hours later. Commendable!
N. C.
Good service, price and food
S. G.
Excellent location, nice friendly staff, quick service, clean and covid compliant. Good selection of drinks, lots of tables and screens if watching sports. Recommend a visit.
J. M.
The head chef was amazing!
M. G.
Superb sports bar and decent price
K. C.
Brilliant Atmosphere, Amazing Staff, food to die for. i will be back
R. B.
Cracking pub, i always come here now after trying the breakfast they do, and great pints of Coors too!
b. S.
Came here for a meeting and was supposed to get the first train back. Due to how nice the bar staff are, how delicious the food is, and the great prices on a pint I've ended up getting the last train home. Shout out to Kayleigh, she is a brilliant member of staff! Next time I'm in Leeds I'll be right back here!
P. K.
Nice and clean pub. Took a little while to serve our food on a Sunday morning but its tasty and reasonably priced.
A. U.
Nice place for a drink and a meal , not too expensive, loved it will be back again soon .
T.
Meal was lovely and very reasonably priced but minor hiccup when one of my party arrived and was initially told by the door people she couldn't come in, was resolved quickly though by the bar staff. All in all a very good Christmas party and fun had by all.
D. R.
Good to see some sport and for a drink, not food though.
J. A.
Absolutely mainstream city pub you'd expect opposite a train station. Drinks and food deals, loud and sometimes very busy given the location. It knows its audience and is happy not trying to be anything different. Which is fine, but there are leaders and followers on the bar scene, and this falls into the latter. Judging by the views I am sure this review will provoke a touchy sensitive response from the manager, but I go around Leeds city centre pubs regularly and this one is in my opinion the epitome of a 3 star destination. If you give everything 5 stars, ratings lose their meaning.
L. S.
A Wetherspoons close to the train station in an easy location with cheap food and drink. Friendly staff and clean tables. Was busy when we went in but the staff were still cleaning and wiping down tables when they could which is better than some of the quieter pubs.
C. S.
Went here for Christmas lunch today. Three courses for £12.95 so food was mostly okay but some complained of either burnt or raw parsnips and sprouts were soggy but overall not bad for the money. The service however was awful. Our table for 11 people was booked for 12.30 and myself and two others got their meal at 1.55 so some had finished eating by the time we got ours. We were also put on a long table upstairs which was difficult for some elderly diners and those sat at one end were against the wall so couldn't get out without disturbing others. The waitress did keep apologising which was not her fault. It did spoil our pre Christmas get together. We wont be going there next year sadly.
T. “. C.
It was nice but loud, being a Leeds pub the football was on the TV as Leeds were playing away. Column could have been lower. The menu was limited as they were closing next week for refurbishment.
However our group of veteran ladies were looked after very well by Beth who showed nothing was too much.
A. S.
They didn't have anything I or my friend wanted in stock. Their Internet was so poor the card machines wouldn't work (for strangers as well as my friend) which was awkward and embarrassing. Tables and menu's were sticky but the staff were friendly
M. G.
Good, well-managed bar. It's an easy choice for after work drinks on a Friday night.
C.
Had philly steak sandwich and was lovely. Quite a rowdy put but not too bad
L. R.
Great place, not overcrowded, could actually have a conversation even music and screens were on
G. M.
I've been there just for JO2 😄.
P. M.
Clearly freezer to table food. Staff are friendly enough but in terms of friendliness gone downhill big time since Tony left.
The fact the bar is regularly left unattended and leads to a wait isnt ideal either - especially when off duty staff are sat ar said bar in chef's outfit
D. G.
The Black Prince is very good pub very close to Leeds train station, they serve food and open early to do breakfast meals which are good value for money. It has big screens and tv's to show all popular sporting events. The pub is used by Leeds United fan's when they are playing at home and gets very busy. It's a good place to go if you're either on a night out or on a shopping trip.
M. D.
Nice place, my only issue is ,if seated by front get really cold draft when other customers come in
G. P.
Thank you to The Black Prince, a true knight in shining armour. I volunteer for a homeless outreach and our food was not a suitable temperature. Tony the manager heated it all up and even helped carry our thermos box out! A true gent and saviour! I will definitely be using this place going forward. A place with true heart and soul xxx
D. D.
Absolutely love the place, watched the game there with my girlfriend it was an amazing atmosphere!! Good choice of drinks & friendly staff!! 👌
R. T.
It's OK, food is over-priced but decent enough.
T. H.
A place to watch sport on Sky etc via multiple large TV screens. They were showing the F1 but we wanted to watch rugby union. The staff were extremely helpful as they put it on a convenient TV for us. Real ale was reasonably priced. My friend and I also had a meal. He had chilli that he said was quite tasty. While I had the old favourite: bangers and mash. Sadly the sauages were burnt but as I was peckish I ate them anyway hence only 4 stars.
J. E.
Absolutely great place to visit. Warm and friendly atmosphere.... Great Pizza too!!!
J. x.
Packed with students, very central, had a cocktail and glass of vino. Didn't have food so can't comment.
l. r.
food quality was amazing!
K. J.
Ate here today with a colleague. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Waitress mentioned it had been recently refurbished, the menu which is new, is great and very well priced too.
S. L.
This is a great bar nice atmosphere, we knew as Fluers disco years ago but it's been done out nice
S. S.
A beautiful building
M. H.
I'm always suprised that this place is not busier than it is, as it,s close to station and near the Trinity, its serves good pub grub which is well priced and has some nice beers. There is plenty of seating upstairs and down, with some bigger tables at the back for larger groups.
A. C.
Great place, went to watch the lions test on my first day in Leeds, could not be more happy with the experience, great staff, lovely atmosphere and good food.
D. F.
Stopped off here for breakfast which was very good, great atmosphere. Staff very helpful
A. S.
Great place to drink lots of sport screens and a nice pint of Guinness
M. N. P.
Popped in for a quick cocktail was just how I remembered it when it was Flares
P. F.
The Black Prince what a beautiful building, formally a bank that as been transformed into this lovely public house, in the centre of Leeds, offering a good selection of wine, draft, bottle beers also offers a very good menu a very enjoyable day was had.👍😁🍺🍷
v. l.
Nice with many screens for wachting sports
Д. Б.
Central Leeds pub near the train station. In a nice building, look up at the painted glass dome ceiling inside, pretty standard otherwise & shame about the fruit, (gambling), machines. Friendly staff and good selection of beverages on offer, good value food too.
J. E.
First impressions of the place were 2 untidy bar staff. Bit disorganised. However food and service were quite good. Those 2 were rushed off their feet and worked really hard. Never judge a book and all that.
N. G.
We had a fab time here only wish we found it sooner staff were great friendly food was amazing couldn't fault a thing the bar was so clean table service was great I will definatly be back the TVs classic great for footie horse racing and child friendly prices are great to
Definitely would reccomend to anyone
Nicola from gateshead xx
V. B.
It’s not just the pub, it’s the statue.
D. L.
Great pricing for a good bite, and the gin options are excellent for the price. The atmosphere is relaxing, and it's not too crowded.
Mellow Yankee approved!
v. s.
All staff are very friendly and greet with friendly manner xx
B. F.
Great atmosphere, had a lovely time.
D. H.
Great bar and perfect before you have to get the last train home
R. L.
A nice pub with a decent selection of ales. I come here every so often with my girlfriend for food, & from the different dishes we have tried, the food has never failed us & has always been to an excellent standard.
L. S.
Very good value for money mac cheese was so cheesy and more than enough garlic bread.very good service
L. Y.
No all day breakfast available as advertised at 11am. No eggs, no mushrooms. Waited too long for alternative meal which was ok and filling. Bar staff pleasant
Z. J.
Top tip staff, so friendly and talkative, amazing drinks options and for amazing value. WILL be back again
L. H.
Fantastic view of all televisions for sport and good price of ale
p.
Big pub decent pint
S. G.
Great for Sports and lively
C. M.
Great place to watch sport on the large screen TV's and the drinks were cheap.
A. S.
Staff excellent food good value, better than Wetherspoons. Beer good too although could have a wider selection of ale, usually 3 on. Draughty in winter, handy for the station
A. G.
A great down to earth bar with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Perfect Saturday night
E. H.
Good drinks offers, really close to the train station so good to pass the time prior to getting the train home or waiting for friends to arrive. Lots of screens showing football/rugby.
M. R.
I love it but I only visit occasionally. I come from out of the City area to meet family and we usually call in. Enjoy the real ale and the Pieminister franchise is a bonus if you want some food.
J. H.
Visited on a works night out. Great atmosphere food was great good choice of craft lagers

Great pub! Quite expensive but that’s what you pay for for a nicely decorated pub in a city centre :)
D. B.
Quick service and decent drink selection. Fantastic offers available through the week

Very nice food music not up to much to distorted.
L. H.
Very handy for the train station, this pub/restaurant has a varied, reasonably priced menu. I have eaten here several times and never disappointed.

It does not look much from the outside and I walked past it many times. Finally went in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Pub is massive, sells cask ale & keg, serves food and has sport on TV. I had a large breakfast which was great and filling. No idea what it is like at night so need a revisit.
J. J.
Never been to such a friendly pub. Food was delivered quick. Great to have all the champions league games on. Hats off to the black Prince. Will be returning

Standard city boozer half decent pint of Guinness nothing to really set it apart from the other chain type boozers around here didn't order food but from the look of the menu and some of the food going past my table it looks like it's pre-prepared elsewhere and cooked from frozen
