Really fun location! Always friendly staff, fair prices and a good hang out spot for the 18-30’s I would say! Pool tables in decent quality! Very very annoying to have the ping pong so close to the pool tables. Ball keeps getting hit across. They would better place that in the area at the bottom or in the cage! An absolute annoyance every time. Drinks are decent, fair range. Music not to my taste but not bad by any means. Rock n roll style bar without the sticky floor!! Thankfully

The only reason it didn't get a 5 was because on this occasion we left early as our ping pong table was in between 2 pool tables so we felt we were disrupting the other games as the balls kept bouncing off. Otherwise its always fun and the staff are really helpful and polite.

I've been here on a few different occasions, always had a great time! Staff are very friendly, happy to help with anything. I would recommend the cocktail menu, was very impressed! The games tables can get busy but book ahead or go slightly off peak and you shouldn't have any trouble.

I can't recommend this place enough. Pool, table Tennis and crazy-golf, all in a pub with a great vibe, food and kicking tunes. It's basically a kick-ass youth club for grown ups. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Without a doubt one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time.

Very nice place actually. It was very dead though when I arrived, about 230 am. Can't recommend for going out clubbing or owt, but the music was very nice and the staff were friendly. The wooden tables were shiny and glossy though which kinda made it look like someone had spilt a drink on it. But yeah, pretty cool. I guess the drinks are quite expensive too... Oh well:)

Excellent fun place for pool, ping pong, beer pong, golf, great buzzing atmosphere. Fun loving mostly friendly crowd ages vary from college kids to older folks who still want a beer and to play some games with their mates. Prices aren't cheap, but I think there were some ok deals on multi buys. Roughly a tenner for a ping pong table for an hour I think.

I like it in Roxy, it's good for a drink and for a game. I would have given 5 stars but I think the bar staff are quite slow when it gets anything above moderately busy. I do like their own lager. It's a decent pint so kudos there. It can also seem a bit cramped on space due to the layout of the bar when it gets busier .Not something unique to Roxy but it isn't great on there.

Great atmosphere, however, we came here specifically to play beer pong, only to be told that it's a first come first serve basis. The only beer pong tables were constantly in use by the same groups, so we were unable to use the tables all afternoon.

Met a friend decided to try the cocktails. Competetive prices for the drinks. Decor okay not overly plush but okay for a few informal drinks. I would recommend this place I did have lunch there lasagne must say that was really nice and tasted fresh as well with ciabata garlic bread . Worth a try.

There was a large group of us all were very drunk and didn't have a problem with the doormen like a lot of people are saying either so I don't understand that...

I like the Roxy Ballroom and this place is very much an extension of the pool/ping pong vibe the Roxy has going on, but applied to this hidden away bowling venue. Been here before and it was enjoyable, went again on a wednesday evening for a fuller experience and it let us down to be honest. In a good location, only around the corner from the train station. Good atmosphere and generally a nice place to be. Played mini golf. The attendent at the golf was watching tv on his laptop. Whilst i don't really care myself, it does seem a bit unprofessional. The course itself was fun, although 1st hole a couple of balls got stuck under the red slide. It did feel a bit cheap in places, something just as simple as a lick of paint might help. It was very dark too in spots making it hard to see to dull balls. Overall though the golf was a good laugh Played pool too. Price seems extortionate, £12 per hour in peak times (after 5pm thurs-sun), 9 every other time, but the cues were good and the tables/balls seemed in very good condition. Had some food, this is were some negatives crop in. Myself and a couple of colleagues had pizza. They were incredibly dry and lacking any real toppings. Others had burgers and chips which seemed to go down well though, but the kitchen definitely needs to be less stingy! Played beer pong next, and that scores more negatives. Whilst they provide cool tables and the red cups, the cups actually reeked, almost like foot odur. Need to clean the cups more thoroughly then they are doing! Finally we finished on the table tennis, which was good and i have no complaints about. Drinks overall were good, good selection of lagers/beers/spirits, although it is a tad pricey. I would possibly go again, i have been on a friday evening and the atmosphere was good. I think it just needs a few adjustments

Had a great time playing pool and ping pong on a Friday night. Music was good but the bar service was slow and the spirit selection was mostly low quality. When ordering whiskey or G&T we weren't asked which brand would be preferred.

When you see the entrance to Roxy's you might imagine it's a dingy 1970s pool hall but you'd be mistaken. Ascend the stairs and you'll find a great place to kill a few hours on a rainy afternoon. They've got pool, snooker, table tennis, mini golf and even dedicated tables for beerpong. Add to that craft beers, very reasonable food and slick warehouse decor and you've got a winning combination. Very impressive indeed. With these activities on offer expect it to get a little rambunctious at times.
