Lovely bar with friendly staff. Partner and I enjoy stopping in for a couple. Has some lovely different drinks stocked and on tap. Would recommend trying Tiny Rebel peaches and cream or stay puft. They do bar snacks like pies. There is outside seating and toilets available.Thanks for having us.

A great little bar that has become huge outside! Friendly, knowledgeable and prompt service make this bar a great addition to Crossgates. Stopped for an unexpected pint today... Think it might happen again tomorrow.....

I'm so glad these guys survived covid 19. It's a beautiful little pub with a great atmosphere, the beer choice is brilliant and the music is spot on. The guys in there are really really nice too. 14/10 would visit again!

This place is amazing. The staff are really friendly, happy to recommend drinks and food, and have a random chat. We stayed for a few drinks and they were really high quality. Had some great beers and then a few gin and tonics (love fever tree). Nice nibbles of charcuterie and cheeses.

Great little bar! Really cool. It's not a pub, more a bar of the type found in mainland Europe, but quite rare in the UK. Very friendly staff, great range of drinks. Superb atmosphere.....

Friendly and cosy escape in the heart of a busy neighbourhood. The genial host serves a variety of quality craft beers as well as the usual range of wines, spirits and cocktails. Well worth a visit .

Giving it 3 stars as it looks nice inside from looking at it from through the window from the outside....We went at opening time (12) and it was closed. .were 4 of us for lunch and drinks..owner arrived and said he was late opening .kept door locked so we couldn't get in and sit down..mam has a walking stick and cannot stand for long...when it got to 12.25 we felt we had waited long enough so went elsewhere as had an appointment for 2pm... Disappointing. .

We love The Assembly. It's about time Crossgates had a classy, snug bar with great staff, drink, food, music and atmosphere. Get down early on a weekend to avoid disappointment of not been able to get in. Keep up the good work guys. X

A new bar opening in the 15 is always going to create a buzz and The Assembly does not disappoint. Friendly staff and a choice of craft ales are a farcry from the Stella & Carling we've usually had to put up with.
