Lovely cosy pub with a fantastic set of staff and landlady.We went on pie night which is every Thursday.The pies are all home made with great hand cut chips.Great outside seating area which doubles as an events/party area which hosts live music.Voted pub of the year in 2016 it's well worth a visit.

Lovely beer garden, staff very helpful but if you can't remember orders then have a pad and pen with you? Asked for a pint if soda water, got a half. Asked for a pint of iced water, got half. Asked for half a cider with black current cordial in, got a pint 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷

Rachel and the team are absolutely amazing! I live in Australia, I contacted Rachel just before Xmas to buy my parents a gift card. Rachel posted them a gift card along with a beautiful certificate - totally went above and beyond!! They are over the moon with it and are enjoying the take away service offered during lockdown so much! We have eaten there when visiting and can totally agree with my parents - the food is amazing! Well done The Bridge!

Me and my boyfriend visited last friday for a casual date night. It was my first time in the bridge and as a barmaid of 13 years i can say it's spot on! Perfect pint, staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Let's not even get me started on the food!!! 😍 i had a lamb shank, it literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. He had the surf and turf again cooked to perfection, and when i say amazing i mean we barely spoke a word through eating just sat rolling our eyes with pleasure! (I know that sounds weird but we've all had an eye rolling food moment in our lives surely). It's deffo going to be our local from now on as prices are cool too. Infact we've just booked a table for again this evening.

Beautiful food. We went as we had heard that the pub used to be known for its great pies. We were not disappointed- the steak and Guinness pie was amazing! We will definitely return. A real hidden gem!

Great pub I go to every now and then. It's got a great beer garden, lovely food and a nice atmosphere inside. With a lot of pubs you can feel put off by locals at the bar but here everyone is welcoming. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Pub quiz here is good too and worth a try. It's got a decent pool table and dart board we'll separated from the bar and food area. If you want Sunday lunch here it's usually popular but not rammed so I'd recommend to book ahead.

Very good food. Service is lazy though. Ordered food and there were 4 of us. One of the orders was all starters, so those came out first, understandably as we didn't make it clear at ordering. However, circa 35 minutes later we asked where the other 3 meals were, and they said 5 to 10 minutes... difference in delivery was down to starters being ordered?! It was not busy at all and me thinks they forgot the order until reminded, as their service and attitude was a bit lazy and tired. Good food, service needs improvement....3 stars is generous.

One of the best pubs in Horsforth. Great atmosphere, decent pub grub, large beer garden with heated covered smoking area and enough TVs and sky boxes to ensure all sports fans tastes are covered. And the beer prices are the best in the area.

Good choice of well kept ales. Have visited on several occasions but this time the meals were well below standard. Our complaint was easily dismissed by the waitress, saying she would pass on to chef. Not good enough.

The Bridge has a great reputation for a reason. My wife and I particularly enjoyed visiting for food when we lived closer and we could walk in, great freshly cooked no-nonsense pub food, really cheap too! Some bottled drinks a little steep comparatively but nothing extortionate, a pub has profit margins too, I guess!

Very enjoyable experience. Lots of parking, great selection of ale and really friendly staff. The food is 'home' cooked and is of a very good standard. Nothing wrong with the pub, but nothing exceptional to elevate it to 5 stars.

I went in a party of 21 for lunch and this kind of mass attendance can fell some places but not The Bridge! We had some picky eaters, big eaters, veggies, light bite hamster types - the full range really and I've heard nothing but good reports since. The tables were waiting for us and the preordered food wasn't long. The home made pies are fabulous - all crisp buttery pastry and big flavoured fillings. I thought with that size of menu that they wouldn't be able to keep up standards, so wrong! Great chips, jackets and excellent sandwiches too. There's a good cook in that kitchen. Wild horses couldn't drive us away!

Cosy, regulars type of pub, with traditional pub grub. Carpark, pub garden, pool table and dart board. Bar service can be slow at busier times and quite frequently there are children running around, which is my reason for 3 stars; I prefer to relax in a child free establishment

What a transformation, my partner and I call in to The Bridge for lunch some times, hadn't been for a while, when we eventually went it had all been refurbished with one feature wall of old Horsforth and lots of old photos, a beautiful, welcoming place, staff super, friendly. the meals delicious, and they do lite bites a bonus for me as I cannot eat big meals.
