Had a roast delivered via Uber Eats. Absolutely superb. Still piping hot despite the driver making another delivery on the way to mine. VERY good portion, need bigger plates!

Called in for tea around a week ago having previously been (fairly) regular dining customers but for some reason fell out of the habit. The decor is tasteful and tidy with a very welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. Timmy Taylor's on tap too so being a Keighley lad a very welcome option! Staff said renovations were still ongoing with the car park due to be improved in the near future. The menu is pretty varied without being excessively large so everyone should find something to their tastes. I ordered the Dirty Double burger and our lass a Chicken Parmo with barbecue and bacon (I think was the option?) Both came looking great with big thick proper chips!! Is there a better sight on a working class plate? I doubt it! Sides of onion rings, salad and coleslaw (home made) were a nice touch too. All of these were lovely. The burger though was just alright, but a little lacking in taste unfortunately. Something was just missing. Not sure what it was about it to be completely honest but it was underwhelming. Every other thing put it to shame in terms of flavour! Maybe a stronger cheese or relish/sauce would make all the difference? By contrast our lass' Parmo was good! Full of flavour and very well played at that! I should have ordered the same! It must be said as well that in the current climate of everything being stupid expensive the price at the end was very, very reasonable. We will be back, and I'll order something different next time!

Stumbled across by accident and incredibly glad we did. Delicious roast beef dinner on a Friday night. Large portion, flavoursome and incredible value. Staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful.

Lovely friendly pub. Staff are welcoming and very friendly. The food is amazing and homemade, with a varied menu so theres always something for everyone and prices are very reasonable. Cocktails are awesome! We have used the private room a couple of times, 1 for my daughters 16th and 1 for my Dads wake. Both times the room was made beautiful for us. The staff and management go above and beyond to make things perfect for you. Highly recommended!

Arranged refreshments after my husband's funeral. The food (hot and cold buffet) was amazing, the service was great. One of our party was gluten free and her food was very good and beautifully presented.

My daughter decided to take me here for a treat. Was taken to a table and after looking online at the menue a nice lady came over and took our oder and drinks order. The place was lovely and clean, when the food came it was hot and presented nicely as you can tell by my photo, needless to say I enjoyed every second I was there and felt safe. Been a while since I've eating in pudsey . Me mum and my wife had Sunday lunch today 27 Nov.. I've got to say £38 for 3 beautiful beef roast dinners were beautiful and drinks! real home made Yorkshire pudding comfortable warm dinning areas The brittania gets 10 out of 10 .. thats the best Sunday lunch I've had for a long time thank you all.. we will be back and highly recommend

It's a nicely decorated pub I called with 3 friend's for mainly something to eat we ordered but waiting 50mins for it to arrive and the pub was not busy .The food was just ok .also just to be warned the menu changes depending on what time of day it is.my wife wanted a salad or a omelette but because it was just after 16 00pm could not have either.with a few little tweaks could be a great family pub.

We called in on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered 2 lunches which were all freshly prepared, generous portions and absolutely beautiful. We went with my little girl and was offered a highchair on arrival which was very helpful and they also have baby change. Will definitely be going again. Probably the friendliest pub I've actually ever been to. The staff are very welcoming! There'd a generous outdoor area to enjoy food and drink in the sun as well. The food is very nice too. Definitely coming here again :)

Just had Sunday lunch here. Very good food, great staff, very good service and a lovely atmosphere. Crispy Belly Pork Sunday dinner and a Super Sunday dinner ( Beef, crispy belly pork & turkey ) both came with Yorkshire Pudding, roast potatoes, mash potato and lots of gravy. Separate dish of vegetables ( green beans, cabbage, carrots and swede ) Even extra gravy was no trouble and brought to the table in less than a minute.... Great experience, definitely a place to go again and I am happy to recommend it.... The menu looked really good, you don't have to have Sunday dinner there are other choices, try Brittania, I'm sure you'll love it.

Visited the Brittannia on Wednesday with my mother . We went there late afternoon so not too busy , the lady that greeted us lovely and friendly, engaging in conversation but you know not "too" much . My mother had i think brased steak with veg , I had Haddock and prawn mornay on mash potatoes , super tasty , and to be honest "not" small portions , I also had home made chips on the side , for my mother the veg was a little al dente , but it didn't bother my mother as she was stuffed ...,as was I. We had sticky toffee pudding and custard to share which was also Yummy , honestly we were full to bursting " compliments to chef and front of house Lady .

This evening we paid a visit to The Britannia. Having been several times previously, we always enjoy the excellent selection of dishes and quality of the food. I understand that all their meat is sourced from local butchers and we are keen to support local businesses, particularly in the current situation. I was amazed at the transformation with the redecoration and refurbishments that have been carried out. A truly warm and friendly welcome awaits. Very highly recommended.

Just ordered 2 Sunday roasts, we did order turkey and pork but instead got beef and pork. However despite the minor mishap in meat selection the food has saved it. Been a long time since I went here. I was thinking that standards of offerings would have dropped (like so many other establishments) with the Pandaemic being blamed. I was wrong the standard was epic and truly worth the 5* I gave. The background music was in line with the age of the clientele at the time. Please note that not all us wrinkles live in the past when selecting the music.

Fabulous food. A lively busy place to relax, eat, drink and there is live entertainment at certain times. Plenty of outside tables too.

Made an order for collection at 4pm and it was ready at 4pm sharp! Sadly, they missed one of the roast dinners off the meal (we ordered 4, but got 3). We called back twice: the first time nobody answered, however the second time a lady answered. She was very apologetic and offered to have the meal delivered to our home address for no extra charge - customer service at its finest! Fortunately enough for us we checked the order before we got home so we told the lady on the phone we would come back to pick it up. Had to wait about 15-20 mins in the cold to get the final meal from them which is unfortunately the reason why I have to dock them a star, but other than that, great service and delicious food. They even gave us a free dessert as a gratis for their mistake, which was nice! I will bump to a 5 if they get it right next time.

I think the lock down has really set businesses apart. The Britannia has continued to provide meals to their regulars including making free deliveries to vulnerable people isolating on their own. And their support of their faithful customers has been reciprocated and allowed the pub to continue thriving. Meanwhile, they have been renovating the inside of the place and installing outside seating such that when they can welcome us all back, it will be to an even better place and I can't wait.

We were very disappointed as we booked for a Christmas meal and were told there would be Christmas music on. Our receipt said Chrismas meal for 7pm for 10 of us . Nothing had been arranged and staff thought we had come for normal menu. Food was ok when it came but a long wait and no atmosphere. Plus we had to queue at bar for 10mins to pay. Only one person on behind bar all waiting staff had left - we felt unwelcome . Their meals at lunchtime are fine but we won't be booking a Christmas meal again. We never even got an apology for the long long wait or the way we were treated They said our preorder was locked in the office and the had no key !

Sadly it was a wake I went to but have to say the buffet they put on was absolutely amazing - definitely recommend it. Will return and try the meals if the buffet was anything to go by!

I had my first pint in this pub in 1978, it has always been a great pub to go in with some great landlords/landladies over the years. My wife and i have just had the Christmas dinner there. The food was fantastic with some great beer to wash it down. The couple who run the pub are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. As a Swinnow lad through and through this pub will always hold a special place in my heart. Well worth a visit.
