Decent pub with variety on tap, nice decor, some good food options. Reliable service over the years. Some bar staff a bit young and inexperienced.

A smashing place. Recently refurbished and new upholstery very nice. Very good choice of drinks. A little up market but not too expensive. Lovely atmosphere. Toilets are down a flight of steps into the basement.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. There was 7 if us. Food was nice portions a bit small. Meat, Yorkshire pudding, roast potato and 2 veg with the dinner 1 more veg and a bit of mash would have been nice. The wait for the food seemed long (30 miuntes) to say there were not many eating. Service from the staff was OK, however it would have been nice to have our empty dinner plates cleared from the table when our puddings were brought out. Thank you for dinner and will be in for a drink again soon.

Lovely spot for comfortable food and friendly service. Great value. The pork & chorizo burger was absolutely amazing; so delicious. Would definitely drop in if looking for somewhere for some lunch while in Horsforth

Popped in by chance for Sunday dinner. Dinner was nice very hot, a little bland for my taste! But still managed to finish it. Advertised free pudding but wasnt offered one? Dog friendly which is good for future reference. Would definatley try again.

Liked the atmosphere but on a Sunday afternoon you usually go for a drink and no drink menu exists. The waitress did a good job of telling us what they have available.

Not a hugely extensive menu, but food was very nice. Looks cosier from the outside than it feels inside, some soft furnishings would make it feel a bit more welcoming. Chocolate and orange tart was delicious!!

Excellent choice of beers (real beer!) from local breweries and really good food sourced from local farmers. Can highly recommend the chicken and duck pie, and the bacon and brie melt on ciabatta. The Bar staff very friendly, really nice atmosphere, well decorated inside, oh and dogs are welcome too! I can't wait to go back :-)

Used to love this place. Used to be a unique pub with different beers. Recent visit wasn't that cracking. Ok beer, but the pub didn't look the cleanest and weird smell. Not in a hurry to return, plenty of other pubs around that offer the same now but with a cleaner feel. Shame really but when it's expensive now to go for a beer out, it needs to be good.

Worth a visit if you like new age beer. It's not to my taste so was disappointed they had no traditional real ale as an alternative. That aside great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Good range of guest ales and lagers and the staff who served me seemed very adequately trained when it came to the taps and pumps but not so much when it came to spirits. It took ten minutes to get a vodka, lime and soda order correct, in which time, my friend was nearly ready for another drink and I'd lost the will to live. No music was playing so earwigging into others conversations was unavoidable. It definitely lacked ambience and a person touch.

We had the Sunday lunch which was lovely and would recommend. The place itself is nice however it did have a stale smell of beer. I have also been on a Saturday evening and it was a nice atmosphere however is slightly pricey.

This is a lovely little bar that welcomes dogs in the heart of town street, horsforth. They have a vast selection of continental beers, hand pulls and European lagers etc. I'd recommend anyone who loves real beer while in horsforth to visit.
