Spare of the moment visit. Busy as its school holidays but we had the carvery, lovely food, nicely cooked and presented, fabulous selection and even a small plate size for a person with a small appetite. Nicely placed and convenient for walkers of Everards Meadow if you want a cooked meal for a change. No dogs inside but in better weather there is a nice area outside to sit with your dog. Looking forward to my next visit. Well done guys.

Had a lovely meal there today. Very friendly helpful staff nothing too much trouble. Gordon is an asset to the team!!! The steaks were very tasty and everything nice and hot and a good helping . However please be warned share a cake they are unbelievable we had to bring half of ours home but boy they're yummy. Would definitely recommend for all ages and food requirements.

Very busy today, staff on the floor doing a great job; bar staff seemed inefficient but pleasant. We had the carvery which was good value and plentiful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the gravy was cold, which made the dinner cold. The lady on the front desk greeting and booking tables etc was excellent and made this place great.
G. E.
Absolutely excellent food. Fresh, traditional, tasty English fare served by lovely staff and polite management. I recommend this place to eat, drink and enjoy. The perfect place for ordinary people seeking quality and value for money. The beers good too. Thanks Grove Farm

Went for Sunday Carvery at 4pm. First time visiting and glad we chose that time as very busy and it was quite difficult in finding a parking space as car park is definitely not big enough for the amount of people turning up at peak times. I would definitely go again but probably a bit later once the full lunch crowd have gone. Food & service was all good, Carvery que flowed nicely.

Wonderful food, great service and speed. Table and menus were quite sticky and needed a clean but that's the only down side! Will definitely be going back, really enjoyed our meal!
R. G.
We eat a lot at your restaurant. But today my wife and I had breakfasts. Very nice staff and the food looked nice as all ways. But the scrambled egg had a off smell .when putting onto the plate. After telling the chef he removed the scrambled egg from the hot plate . But it had put us of the breakfasts by then and we left most of it
S. R.
Despite a late request for a table for mothers day the manageress was kind enough to squeeze a table for for 5 people at such short notice , what a star . Even though extremely busy the staff were amazing , hard working , polite and attended to any needs we had . Have been here many times as the food was fantastic and this visit did not disappoint.
Brilliant carvery and vegan options . Thankyou ! Will be back ASAP x

Checked online and saw that they closed at 10pm. Made a twenty mile detour to reach the venue by 9.15pm - only to be told when entering that the carvery closes at 9pm.
I would have appreciated the closing time of the carvery being clearly advertised to avoid this problem, and the original one star rating was to reflect my annoyance at missing out. On reflection I realise that this is unfair to the chef.
The corrected five star rating is for carveries I have had at this venue when calling at a more respectable time, as I obviously couldn’t rate it this time,

Carvery is very handy, food is tasty, great service, plenty of space to sit.
Couple of birthday celebrations was happening whilst I was visiting. Place was pleasantly fool of people enjoying their foods. Wood definitely recommend.

Our first time booking was sadly not the best of experiences.
We had a booking time of 7.15pm for a family of 4. We were seated at the back in the family area. It didn't seem to be a problem at first. We chose our food on our app and proceeded to wait. There were lots of children in the play area of all ages despite it saying under fives. Mostly older ones . As we sat to eat there were boys throwing a ball at the plastic ride on toys and walls in the area making the most horrendous thudding noise. This carried on the duration of our meal . We could barely conversate . We rushed our meal in the end to go home . The food itself was nice , nice selection on the carvery.
K. D.
Decent carvery considering an entire table of 12 ate for £95. I was luck enough to get some of the fresh turkey that came out. Would’ve been nice if the roasties and parsnips weren’t burnt to shreds - this needs sorting. Decent play area for the kids, would be nice to add more soft play to this to tire out the kids.

We've been grove loads of time and the second to last time we came it was awful. Food arrived cold and took ages but it was super busy. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and went again anyway and we are all glad we did. Food was quick and for those of us who had the carvery we were super full and satisfied.
H. T.
Quick to serve using self scan and app. Decent carvery and good value for money. Wouldn't say its the best I've ever had and certainly not the worst.
R. B.
Breakfast bacon muffin, absolutely brilliant. For £4 you get muffin with for slices of bacon, fried egg, cheese slice and two hash browns. Forget McDonald's. These are ten times better.
S. L.
It was my first visit and i couldn't fault it. The friendly service, cleanliness and quality of the food for the price were all excellent!!!! The vegetarian pie that my friend had from the carvery was, substantial, looked great and was delicious and full of vegetables. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. It belongs to the same chain that runs the Longshoot between Hinckley and Nuneaton.
M. E.
Lovely friendly family size pub they do delicious sunday roast as well is food menu, you can take it home. they have varieties of ice creams and outside seating area.
T. S.
Great service and unbelievably well-priced, decent quality food. Came here today (01/11/21) as a result of the nearby Hotel being closed to non-residential visitors. As a result of today, we are likely to continue to meet here monthly. Free WiFi which didn't seem to suffer drop-outs: bonus!
I'm dropping the experience back a bit as I had my normal southern chicken sandwich, but found the lettuce used was past its best.
S. M.
Excellent, fantastic service fantastic food, open space , children's play area. Very good ambience. We just loved it. Highly recommended
D. M.
Staff great and food was good
The only thing is I came for evening meal and they did not have the salmon I want so picked something different which was fine, I then returned the next morning for breakfast to find there was no Avocado so had to pick something else again.
L. T.
We had a carvery this evening. The meat was well cooked and delicious. There was a large range of vegetables, which were well cooked and hot. There was a good range of gravies and sauces.
The restaurant itself was spacious and clean.
P. K.
Carvery was brilliant I had the large with gammon, turkey and beef, the Mrs had large veg carvery big cheese and onion pie both with all veg
J. M.
I had lunch with some work colleagues. Very reasonable prices, good service and large portions. The staff were knowledgeable about the food they were serving (allergies, etc.), and flexible towards menu item adjustments. Minor hiccough with a ploughmans without cheese was rapidly corrected. The food isn't going to win an Michelin stars, but it was good quality fresh ingredients that were well prepared. I'd not select this place if I wanted a "pub" experience, but for a work-day lunch it was just about perfect
Y. H.
just been here for my bithday dinner could think of anywhere else to go as love this place so freindly and helpful staff and brilliant food
L. T.
We had a lovely carvery here. Plenty of choices of vegetables, potatoes and sauces Piping hot !
J. L.
I have been to this place for a carvery and breakfast and the food is good for the price. I just finished a hard shift at work, decided to go for a pint and was refused and told by the guy behind the bar they wasnt serving food or beer because they was closing in 15mins. I was at the bar at 21:30.
J. J.
Looking like it needs a little TLC in a few areas esp. in the gents toilet. But food is amazing and staff are friendly and helpful.
Great family pub and will happily go back.
K. P.
Great meal, friendly staff, Hugh cakes!
Only negative was table clearing...we were having coffees after meal. There were 7 of us at table and staff said would clear away plates, took two lots and left the rest on the table. Not a complaint just feedback
N. H.
The food here is absolutely banging but my God my eyes are way too big for my belly. Fantastic range of food and fairly decent portion sizes. Be prepared for a nice nap after and keep yourself a quarter empty for the massive slices of cake for a fiver after. The cakes were honestly 11/10. A side note is that they offer a good range for veggies too.
S. S.
I haven't been to the Grove for nearly 3yrs as I thought it was going downhill then covid hit etc but yesterday I thought I'd give it another shot and was glad I did as I thought it massively improved all round the food and service was a lot better and my family really enjoyed it so I'd say to anyone who felt like I did to give it another try cause I think you'll be surprised . Steve Storey-Knott

Not bad, carvery food not very hot.
But you do get a discount off food for nhs staff. Staff are helpful.
N. E.
The two people I went with had the carvery and really enjoyed it and I had a beef burger and chips which was nice. The chunky coleslaw was very nice and staff were friendly.
L. W.
This is the best Carvery I have ever had: perfection on a plate ! Thank you to the chefs for producing the best 10/10 delicious meal!
R. L.
We had a family meal today at Grove Farm with no booking, nice to just decide to eat out and be able to without the restrictions of recent times.
We were seated and drinks were ordered and arrived within 5 minutes of getting there. The staff are fantastic and very accommodating, especially with my daughters allergies (nuts and eggs), they happily changed a menu item to enable her to have the meal she wanted.
Our food arrived promptly- after only roughly 15/20 minutes after ordering at the bar. It was lovely and the portion sizes were great too. My wife and I had the carvery option, as always it was perfect and the gravy is superb.
Overall a great meal out, I would recommend it to anyone.
c. c.
Went to other 2 farm house inn in Leicester and the carvery here is the best compare to the other 2. The only thing I didn’t like is that they only give you one stuffing unlike the other places you can pick as as much as you want.
K. B.
Visiting from The Netherlands last week, my wife and I found this great carvery. Wonderful cuts of juicy meat, healthy selection of veg along with some popular ales on tap. Well done!
M. M.
Lovely atmosphere with good staff to look after your every need, food from either the carvery or the main menu is very good and reasonably priced
J. C.
Plenty of space at lunchtime.
Excellent variety of veg with carvery - one of best we have experienced. Friendly staff.
r. h.
This is the 1st time we have ordered ( not even visited in person yet!!!!) the delivery time was spot on kept informed all the way 👍🏻 the food (Carvery’s ) OMG !!! Absolutely Amazing & delivered still hot 🍽❤️ the meat was perfectly cooked the portion sizes were Massive, although nearly ! Finished the lot lol.
The only thing I would have liked to see when ordering online was there was no options to be able to pick any of the veg selections ( had to have what ever was on the plate ? Still amazing though & WE Will definitely be ordering a delivery again as soon as my stomach has shrunk down in size again lol (or perhaps just a smaller portion lol. Thank you x

Tasty food though.
B. F.
Gordon was an excellent server! Thank you for such a warm welcome and excellent food :) great experience from start to finish ❤️
M. M.
Lovely atmosphere with good staff to look after your every need, food from either the carvery or the main menu is very good and reasonably priced
I. G.
Food arrived quite quickly for the size of group we had. Food was delicious and filled me up that unfortunately I was not able to try the very tempting desserts on offer.
Will definitely be back again, maybe for the breakfasts.
d. t.
Booked table for 12.30 no problem food fresh and delicious.Cheesecake pudding giant size had to take most of it home
L. W.
Great offer with 2 children eat for £1 per every adult meal (weekday carvery standard just £6.99). You will be seated in the family area while you wait for your food and there is a free play area for under 5s to help keep them entertained. Also offers a delicious cake away, whats not to love!
S. T.
Food is to a good standard, carvery has a decent selection but nothing you wouldn't expect. Other options off the menu are also nice and can be tweeked if you have allergies or specific diet. Puddings are great but oversized, luckily you can take these home. If you're here when it's quite it's really nice experience, if you go when it's busy it struggles massively, food quality drops and staff struggle with the demand.
A. D.
We used to go to some of the other "Farm" restaurants at home in the North East but bad experiences made us think twice We're glad we came here tonight though. Yes its a chain place and everything is identical except the staff!
But thats where the difference lies. Great people, well cooked food in great quantity, we came away stuffed. You restored our faith in your brand, Grange Farm!
A. M.
We went for a breakfast .lovely food .every where was very clean .and tables cleaned as soon as people left .staff were polite and pleasant to talk to .
R. M.
Staff excellent food good old pub grub no embellishments really good value on golden years 5 stars for old wrinkles
G. C.
Lovely food lovely staff, only thing was the food wasn'tas hot as i would prefer
S. B.
We only waited 20 minutes for our food. The food was delicious.
t. K.
Nice spacious place. Good seating. Pleasant staff.
Super carvery meal.
Very good value for money
First visit...Will definitely be going back!
d. m.
Food was very very tasty. But the service was outstanding we were helped by a lovely gentleman by the name of Gordon he helped wheeled my fiancés grandad back to our table so we could carry our carvery dishes back safely he was extremely polite and even helped plate our grandads food up for us
J. D.
Never been to a Carvery where you can get take away, amazing plus all you can eat. Had to have cake 😁. Excellent.
A. W.
Had a lovely carvery. Young man who looked after us was so nice.makes such a difference.
M. L.
great family pub we had carvery there was a huge selection of foods, i booked a table through the website and paid at the bar for the food. Little queue to be served food but went down quick staff work so hard! indoor play area for under 5's and a few arcade machines for pocket money toys..don't forget change for that! Ordered drinks to the table from the greene king app really easy to use and super quick. Helpful staff great family atmosphere.
We will be going again to try the breakfast.
T. H.
Me and my partner had a lovely time, staff friendly and all super helpful. I had a Sunday roast from the carvery which was lovely but there wasn’t a big selection of veg which was a bit disappointing but a lady kindly got me some peas from the kitchen, and my partner had fish and chips from the menu which was beautiful as well, overall good friendly vibes, good food, good drinks, we will definitely be coming back !!
K. P.
Great carvery and Hugh cheesecake/cake desserts.
Only negative, I was advised unable to visit second time for more veg/gravy
G. R.
This was my first visit the lady had been once before. Anyway we both had received good reviews from family and friends. It didn't disappoint in fact the total opposite. The Staff couldn't do enough for you bear in mind this was a Sunday lunch time. We both had the Carvery it was Delicious. I would recommend that you Download the Green king app to your phone if at all possible. Ref Booking a table in advance. Finally Yes we will both be going back.😲😀👍
J. W.
Great 'Too good to go' evening meal. Great value for money, with loads of food.
N. C.
Food is always amazing. Service is great, and the carvery is the best in Leicester
H. C.
Lovely food! Good service! And amazing desserts to takeaway eyes bigger than my belly!
R. K.
the carvery is amazing and the staff were all very friendly. I look forward to going again
E. G.
WOW, what an experiance 17 of us including 3 under 4's fantastic service fantastic food (mixed grill is a fantatic experience) many thanks to Krishan, Amy, Josh, Jen and Lucy who made the family experiance a very enjoyable night. Well done and see you all again soon.
Many thanks
D. D.
Plenty of room inside, nice seating at tables, staff are friendly, food is good deserts are huge, There ia section where children have to be over 12 years old to go, so if you want to sit in a quiet part of the pub away from children playing in the indoor play area, you've got that facility available. They do offer a salad bar and Carvery, and obviously the main menu. . . A few negates are, they could do with a better outside facilities especially some little play area for children. Also inside the building, it could do with Windows that you can open as it gets very hot and stuffy and you can not open any windows. On a few occasions it does not always have what's on the menu. But Overall a nice play to go for a meal.
J. C.
Carvery... Always busy never over packed. Had take away . Helpful staff
L. J.
Yet again a delicious carvery. Hats of to the chefs great food.
K.
Friendly staff. A good choice of meats and veggies on the carvery at such a bargain price.
m. b.
Excellent food & service at a very competitive price we would highly recommend this place !!
c.
Beautiful food, slow roast cooked perfectly
G. W.
Had an amazing meal really loved the carvery
J. H.
Didn't stay there but got dinner through an app call too good to go and the box we brought was for 1 but was able to get plenty for 2 in the one box! Absolutely amazing!
M. V.
One of the best dining experiences I have had since the national re-opening in 2021.
The use of the app made the whole process completely seamless. The food arrived in super quick time and the staff were extremely attentive and on the ball.
I had the carvery (large, £9.99) and enjoyed the large portion sizes offered.
The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to put in orders before arriving. Currently a table number is needed and the food arrived quickly enough on this occasion but I could foresee a situation where this functionality might be useful.
g. c.
Great carvery brilliant puddings, nice service
d. h.
Nice meals at a reasonable price plus a good choice of beers they do a nice coffee as well, the staff are attentive but not in your face . We prefer it at lunch time as it is not to busy evenings tend to be a bit hectic but that's just our choice.plus they do a great carvery it's a nice family friendly pub.
K. C.
Always enjoy eating here very friendly staff and good prices
A. S.
Delicious breakfast and excellent price compared to other Breakfadt buffets around
T. H.
The food was very good my only concern was there was no wearing of masks from the staff working behind the bar or waiting on tables.
l. t.
Lovely food but abit cold but otherwise it was lovely
S. P.
Brilliant service great food special thanks to Gordon for his hospitality
B. C.
Top food staff are realy nice and friendly and always go out there way to help Xmas I could thank then enough
J. C.
The food was lovely but the staff need training waited at least 15mins for our first drink order no one came around again asking if we needed any more drinks etc after spending 167 pounds on a 21st celebration we ordered a taxi which was going to take 45 mins and in that time we tried to order a drink but staff could not multi task serving 2 tables so we went without would have spent so much more there but no one seemed interested in taking our orders. You ask the public to support you in these hard times how about you give some service. Will not be returning
G. J.
I wish the pictures looked like the place I visited. Only three staff on duty that night, and overworked felt sorry for them. Screaming kids and demanding customers.
s. g.
Great value for money all you can eat breakfast and tea.
Food good also.
D. T.
Had an amazing carvery today. Staff were fantastic. Food was gorgeous. I’ll be going back regularly. Just wished I had known about the alcoholic slushes!!! I had a normal one but I’m definitely having an alcohol one next time. Had regular sized carvery and couldn’t eat it all. No room for the amazing looking desserts. Next time I’m going for a smaller meal and squeezing dessert in. By far the best carvery meal I have ever had. Beats the other well known chain!
J. F.
Enjoyed a nice carvery here. Will definitely go again. Lovely food, good variety of meats, not expensive, friendly staff & plenty of parking.
J. H.
Excellent service and food. A member of staff called Gordon was very polite and knowledgeable.
N. T.
Very popular, excellent food and service
Excellent staff
Good parking
K.
The carvery is delicious!! Superb value for money
R. M.
This place is top notch ,staff are polite helpful and attentive , food is better than other places near by

First time back since covid and really enjoyed it. Excellent food as usual, went for the carvery which was served for me, happy smiling chap. Generous portions and couldn't fault it. Be back soon.
L. C.
Amazing food, husband had the steak and I had a carvery. Was absolutely delicious and a wide variety to choose from
S. J.
Such a nice place to go for a meal and drink. And the carvery is so good And the staff are so good as well.
A. 2.
Great carvery friendly service and good atmosphere.
S. M.
This is by far the best carvery around Leicester, friendly staff and great food.
M. O.
Nice roast, service was good, clean restaurant.
K. C.
Had a Lovely meal staff very friendly thankyou enjoyed by all
S. H.
We had a carvery to take away on Sunday and it was amazing! We've had a few carverys from here in the past and not been very keen on them, but kept trying them in the hope they'd become better because let's face it, it's convenient to have a take away roast sometimes when you've had a busy Sunday and just need one without the cooking. We used to find the veg hard and the roast potatoes not very tasty, but now, well the veg is lovely and soft and the roast potatoes are to die for, the whole meal was fab and couldn't fault it at all. Our 5 year old son can be fussy with foods but he was sat there the whole meal saying how nice it was, as were me and my husband, thanks Grove Farm, we will certainly be back this weekend for a take away roast, they are perfect now.
D. A.
Carvery is such good value for money. The deserts are huge!!
E. S.
Lovely pub that never disappoints. The staff here are an asset especially Gordon and the lovely lady who helped us book for christmas (i have forgotten her name). I have never been let down at this place.
R. B.
The pub has COVID-19 measures in place and we were met at the door. The table service was a little slow, but understandable when it is table service only. We called over a member of staff who wasn't meant to be serving but she took our orders and was very friendly and helpful. We all had carvery dinners and all agreed that the food was good quality and great value for money.
Thanks again to Sarah who went out of her way to make sure that we got what we needed.
S. H.
Very busy with pre Christmas lunch parties but still cosy, and we were warmly welcomed by staff .so glad we decided to book online the night before .
g. d.
Why only three stars ? . On arrival we, a party of 6 , we allocated a bench type table which was changed very quickly to a table with chairs due to me having a walking stick. Very busy and so we waited some time before selecting our meal. Now the reasons for 3 stars, hot food and cold plates don't go together, yorkie was 'soggy ' and cold and finally the brussels were under cooked . Have been here many times but dissapointed this time
B. m. (. m.
Very nice food and really nice venue good prices too
l. p.
Absolutely amazing. I've avoided carvery meals for years so my heart sank when my daughter said we were having carvery for her birthday meal tonight..but oh how I've changed my mind on them now. Everything was cooked to perfection, a huge choice of vegetables, home cooked Yorkshires and the portions were amazing. Plates piled high with the most delicious, piping hot food. Sunday roast just like your Mum made..truly delicious. And the cakes...omg!!! Had to have cakeaway as far too full to eat anything else but even those portions would feed a family of four. Would highly recommend Grove Farm x
j. h.
The food was delicious but the drinks are quite pricey
D. E.
Really good food and staff friendly and helpful definitely recommend.
L. W.
Loved it nice carvery and a good price for all you get but I'd book before you visit especially on a Sunday as well busy. Nice and polite staff
T. H.
Seems a bit over priced. But the food was amazing
B. B.
Lovely meal and excellent company. My cake was extraordinary. I took a box full of it home and it did for two more sittings!
m. d.
Hadn't been here since before the Covid outbreak started but finally had a chance to visit again on Sunday and I have to say this place has gone from being a half decent place to a brilliant place for a carvery. Staff are very polite and the service under Covid regulations is first class. Was a little apprehensive about not being able to select your own food as normal however the amount of each food that they give you is more than adequate. Will definitely be returning very soon!
T. G.
Went on a very busy Sunday for their carvery, which was previously recommended by one of the 3 of us that went. Lets just say I was not disappointed in the slightest. Table wait time was a while but I queued up for the carvery in that time. The table was ready to sit at while I was queuing so was able to sit down right away. Drinks are a reasonable price. Will be returning at some point.
B. T.
Went for breakfast, rushed us to the counter as they said breakfast finished at 11 , it said 11.30 on the menu and there was food left except sausage. All the dinner stuff was out by 11.30 when we left , disappointed
P. R.
Great as usual good food and great staff and service thanks👍👍
C. G.
Lovely food. Very strict on following social distancing and keeping everyone safe, yet still making it a pleasant atmosphere. Will be going back soon.
T. R.
Gotta love a carvery. Friendly helpful staff. Lush grub.
R. G.
A huge range of quality veg. Great choice of meats. Fairly priced. Would definately go again but probably worth trying not on a Sunday at peak lunch hours as it was slightly chaotic and I'm glad the good food made up for the crazy bar. As an added tip we ordered ultimate drinks, I don't know why and I don't advise this, standard drinks are about a pint anyway, so these bad boys needed two hands to drink. Also definitely pay extra for pigs in blankets, these were very good!
H. B.
Carvery is very good, but breakfast buffet was barely lukewarm
R. H.
Best carvery around
Always fresh and a great selection of food. Weekends are always busy and you do have to wait for a table but it is worth it unless you have kids then you can get a table right away. Week days are just as delicious but quieter. Food from the menu is good and comes quite fast. The lady serving the meat could do with some personality and customer service skills because she never looks like she wants to be there. But for price and quantity it's a good all rounder.

Excellent, pub meals, Carvery and delicious, sweets. You can sit out or inside, big car park, very busy place for eating at peak times. Have to book, when open, staff very friendly and helpful.
Recommended.
R. H.
Our first meal out in a very long time! Ordering from the app was easy, and the carvery service was good too. Great food as always!
K. W.
A Greene King pub located in a business park so not a "local". Convenient to walk to from the Marriott hotel. Good menu of modest fare including a carvery, burgers, kid's menu, etc.
L. B.
First time been for out for a meal in years. Absolutely loved it. Staff so pleasant, and helpful.
R. S.
Popped in for a carvery. Had the small and it was well priced. Lots to choose from and you can have as much as you can get on the plate. Tasty as well.
M. p.
Always have great food and the staff are really friendly nothing is too much trouble very obliging and helpful highly recommended whether it's a carvery or breakfast
I. D.
Great place to eat just across the road from fosse Park.we did not book just walked in they found us a table right away. You can order everything you want on there app and pay and its brought to your table. Or one of the staff will take your order the service was very good staff very friendly and helpful explaining how things now work. Food very good had the Sunday roast just tell them what you want on your plate and it's brought over to your table very happy with the way it works has once you are seated you never need to move.the food its self was very good and plentiful would recommend to everyone if you are in the area pop in you will not be disappointed 😉
D. P.
Love the carvery here ideal location staff are fab
B. S.
A really nice place for dinner and/or a drink. The staff were very friendly, and the portion sizes were larger than I thought, which I don't have a probably with!
M. D.
Very nice food we'll definitely be going again
D. I.
The food was almost perfect. My wife's steak was pink in the middle and not well done as requested. She still ate it and said was nice but just slightly undercooked for well-done. Staff were very friendly and funny. Very welcoming place. Pleasant surrounding. We don't go out much so big Thank you.
S. B.
Good food, low prices, and nice service with friendly staff. Really excellent on a Sunday afternoon. Literally no complaints.
B. O.
Massive portions at a reasonable price. I was surprised and slightly confused initially as the vegan fish and chips tasted so much like fish I thought they had made a mistake. The chips were perfectly cooked and the peas nice too. The carvery was huge and although not great it was ok and anyway great value for money. The place was clean and staff cheerful and friendly.
M. B.
It's good to be able to go back out for a family meal and this is our favourite place for a carvery. The staff are always lovely and service is pretty quick.
G. G.
Pub was very quiet, fully covered covid procedures and led to our seats, ordering a bit long winded as the staff have to read out the full menu for the carvery made better by our member of staff Gordon who was cheerful warm and friendly. I ordered a carvery bap, very nice very filling.
R. F.
Great food and very polite staff. We will definitely be visiting again, just make sure to book as it was very busy
L.
First visit to this restaurant Saturday, the food was really nice and great price, the restaurant was really clean. Best part of our visit was the friendly service from the young gentlemen serving the cavery and also the friendly service from Gordon and Adam.
R. H.
A fairly typical pub. Good drinks, good food (too much really) all for a sensible price. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
s. p.
Food great. Service good. Little disappointed that the festive carvery itself was no different to a normal one, if we'd wanted pigs in blankets we'd have had to pay extra. (festive carvery was already dearer than normal). Table looked great with cloth and crackers.
B. W.
Nice place but runs out of meat sometimes
A. M.
Pub in great location for road links. Decent sized car park. Large premises, plenty of seating and tables. Bright and clean. Great for couples, families, groups. Reasonablely priced food and drink. We only had time for a short visit so unfortunately didn't have the time to eat, definitely want to the food looks great. Friendly staff, good service. Nice atmosphere
S. W.
Great carvery, we travel often from Syston as it's much better than the one there! Always a great selection of veg, portions of meat could be better, chefs seem reluctant to give you a nice hefty slice of meat these days. I remember when carveries let you go up as many times as you liked, that was the idea of them but obviously times have changed! Friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend when you can't be bothered to cook yourself!
B. W.
First visit .Loved it ,excellent sized portions, lovely atmosphere value for money .and was able to bring home a doggy 📦 looking forward to another visit soon .
M. B.
Cant beat the carvery here. Always a great meal. Excellent choice of meats & veg. Always perfectly cooked, red hot & tasty.
Fantastic puddings but most of the time I'm too full up from my dinner!! Can buy lovely cake & ice cream to take home if you fancy it though.
Only problem is it is so good the place is always packed! We try to get there for 11.30am so we can be one of the first in the queue, probably shouldn't have told you this 😂
c. d.
Lovely food great prices
P. R.
Myself and my kids went into the grove last night (Monday) and I have to say how impressed I was with the food and what an improvement it has experienced. The carvery was super and the yorkshire’s were huge! There was a young girl who was really friendly and the man with red hair was especially helpful and polite! Will definitely be returning soon and recommending.
S. S.
Service was excellent, I asked for lamb shank but I can't eat potatoes and I don't like carrots or garden peas which came with this meal, manager kindly agreed for me to use vegetables from carvery 😋.
A. N.
Had a nice small carvery, food was a lot nicer than I last time I went.
J. F.
Pub is lovely, well kept & attracts a lot of people on sunny days with its outdoor seating area. The food is average - the carvery is more recommended than menu orders. Sometimes they're short staffed and have signs to say that the food cannot be served after a certain time.
K. C.
Sunday carvery was extremely busy even at 2.30. We hadnt booked so we waited half an hour for a table. then had to queue for food. 4 choices of meat.. which was nice and tender and loads of veg choices. veg was nice but its quantity more than quality. all in all decent grub.
S. C.
Had the carvery which wasn't very hot but was plentiful and tasty. Those in our party not having carvery had a long wait and their meals didn't arrive together. Very tired decor and not the cleanest but a good place to go if you have young kids which is why we chose it.
C. L.
Excellent service and great food and great value for money
L. L.
Lovely food and lots of choice at the carvery
E. F.
Very well organised regarding Covid restrictions. I had the Carvery which was delicious and huge portions! Waitress Sarah was extremely patient and understanding with my dietary requirements when ordering! Thank you! Highly recommend!
J. P.
Went for another carvery 23rd Sept 19. They've finally got rid of the system of booking in your car for 2 hours of parking so this was a more relaxed visit. Carvery was tasty as ever, seasonal veg on offer was lovely though missed the roast parsnips as they're not in season apparently. Gammon was beautiful and fresh and not salty at all. Such good value and always very tasty. Some veg got cold quick but was very pleased to be offered a gravy boat which was a nice touch.
All staff very friendly and helpful, all in all, great value for money, tasty and healthy (apart from those yummie roast potatoes) Well worth a visit, will return soon I'm very sure as is a perfect half way meeting point for my friend and I
D. H.
Had the carvery and some meals off the main menu
All ok some of our drink glasses not that clean staff welcoming
K. B.
I ordered a sausage and egg muffin. I'm funny about how my eggs are cooked so asked for it to be flipped. Came out beautifully and the addition of the cheese made it just perfect in my opinion.
C. M.
We had a super time at the Grove Farm Dining & Carvery. . . The staff were fabulous, the guidelines were simple to understand as in the social distancing & the ordering. . You just download an app then before you know it your food arrives, followed by your drinks, it's brilliant . . . . It was my birthday today, so the Grove Farm just made my day extra special. . . ❤
C. W.
We had carvery it was lovely nice and hot
S. W.
Excellent carvery.hot and fresh.good value for money .Never seem enough bar staff though. Carvery area had spilt food on the floor .We pointed it out to waiting staff due to trip hazard.
Otherwise a pleasant place to eat.
P. B.
Plenty of staff on duty, all protected well. Drinks were purchased at the bar and brought over to your table. It would make more sense if the staff took your food and drink order then brought them over to your table. Food was above average.
They do operate a one way system, you go in one door and exit another, but you have to guess as there is no signs saying you cant exit the door you've just entered.
The app is good, you order your food and drink then register.....not register first!! Just little things that are so annoying.
N. R.
Sunday 4th October, had a lovely family Carvery was absolutely fresh and delicious 😋 the service we had today from Jade was absolutely amazing 👍 with everything going on with covid Jade looked after us through out our lunch.
Thank you Jade
Will definitely come back and definitely recommend the Grove Park
R. P.
Reasonable food but couldn't cook a simple beef burger - they got it wrong 3 times - it was completely raw
In the end they gave us free desert
Even if we go there again, safe to say we will not be ordering that
My fish finger sandwich was nice though
A. L.
Good food, friendly staff
j. h.
Great meal really large portions &carvery
C. O.
Called in for breakfast today to meet a friend. Had a small plate for £3.99 but there was loads on it. 2 sausage, 2 bacon as standard then mushrooms, hash browns etc are help yourself. With unlimited tea and coffee it was great value. Bigger plates were available but we really didn't need to pay more. Pleasant environment made it a great meeting place for breakfast. Staff were also very pleasant.
j.
Pleasant dining experience on a busy Sunday afternoon. Got a table straight away. Children were occupied with the play area and although it was very busy the atmosphere was relaxed. Carvery lovely and great value for money.
J. F.
Brilliant staff very friendly took the to talk to you and the food wad delicious
S. W.
Had great meal was husbands 70th birthday family affair staff were brilliant prices good
D. A.
Spot on breakfast and service. Great value for money.
Lost a star because there is always room for improvement and i wasn't that keen on the music and the volume.
Regular customer especially the carvery. Even bought my friends from work here for a carvery instead of the usual Indian. A good choice my friends said!
L. J.
I've always loved going here been on so many occasions. Nice staff, amazing tasting food. Loving dining area. Great price.
M. H.
Love it!! Carvery is delicious with plenty of choice..just 1 negative is wasnt allowed to plate a few vegetables for my baby grandson.. But wasnt a problem we just piled up our plates and then plated his at the table, staff are lovely and polite.. Toilets are spotless, and the wines not bad either 😁.. 👍
s. c.
Food was great as always (carvery) only downside today was the fact we waited 10 mins (big que stood there with plates of food) for gravey, the woman cleaning the tables ect was very overrun and was very snappy. Felt for her though she was rushed off her feet, she mentioned being on her own for 3 rooms. But other than that, the food was absolutely lovely.
W. L. G.
Fantastic breakfast as there is so much choice and the staff are so friendly! They can’t do too much for you, Becca brought me fresh fried eggs over for me as I wanted some extra runny eggs. We will definitely be back as it’s the best breakfast around Enderby.
T. J.
Friendly atmosphere, staff very welcoming. Food is excellent and great value for money. Carvery has an amazing range of sides and all cooked well. Can't praise this place enough. Have been for carvery and eaten from menu. Also deserts (portions massive) we have one desert between two of us. Would definitely recommend you give it a try
A. L.
Carvery is good, don't order off the menu!
Good for kids aged 2 to 5 as there is a play area for them which will give you a little time to enjoy your food while they play.
S. C.
Poor service but children's play area was lovely. Carvey was brilliant and the lady doing this was good. Waited at the dessert ordering point for 10 minutes along with two other people when it was not busy with numerous members of staff ignoring us. We had to ask to be served. I would of rated higher if we were just politely acknowledged.
C. L.
Great value food and amazing service
N. B.
Great place. Great food. A1
D. D.
Food first class, service A1, it's always a pleasure to go here.
No longer any need to put in car registration number.
R. W.
Love this place - plenty of choice and very friendly staff.
R. F.
1st time of going and wasn't disappointed.
We went on a Sunday and we couldn't book but as Football was on it was quiet. As we left it got really busy with long queues at the Carvery and bar. Food was lovely with big servings and the deserts were enormous that we had to ask for a tub to bring home.
S. N.
The carvery meet and vegetables were all very nice. Unfortunately, they run out of pork at about 7:30 PM just as I got to the counter. The deserts were excellent albeit a little unusual. The offering was mainly ice cream or cake. The furnishings were starting to look a little bit shabby.
S. C.
It was very busy Sunday lunchtime but we were seated in the family area as we had a 3 year old. Our order was placed at the bar. Food order arrived very quickly although the carvery queue took about 15 mins. Staff were helpful and excellent value, £50 for 4 adults plus child inc non-alcoholic drinks.
S. G.
Food was good and the price was good for what you get. The customer service was so poor. It wasn't busy at all for a weekday but we were waiting a long time for drinks and we didn't get our water so we left in the end.
J. D.
Came this afternoon for a special family occasion was served by a very nice man called Adam was very polite and professional , very covid safe ordered on the app food arrived quickly was of a high standard will definitely return !
m. C.
Finally enjoyed my meal here today. Queue wasn't to bad for the carvery. Nice little area to keep the small ones occupied. Happy family... happy me. Thanks grove park for a nice dinner and good service :)
K. D.
Food very good reception and food service good bar service could be improved.
T. B.
Visited Sunday lunchtime, was busy and car park nearly full. Reserved table was ready, helpful staff. Bar service was prompt, carvery was good as was table service meals. Everything comparable with the Cherry Tree Farm that we visit quite often.
S. K.
Not too bad this time. Food was served quickly and the carvery is usually good. If you have children there's a small indoor play area here for them. The cakes are horrible though so I wouldn't bother with those.
N. W.
Excellent pub and restaurant Great service Polite, friendly and helpful staff Very enjoyable experience Well worth a visit would highly recommend 👍😁
c. m.
I had the ultimate carvery, large Yorkshire pudding was rubbery, the price was supposed to be a larger than standard serving but I got about the same amount of meat as the man in front of me with a standard plate. No roast potatoes because only burnt ones in the serving dish. Otherwise an OK meal
J. T.
Great place, great staff. Exactly what is says on the tin
A. S.
Best carvery by far!! Get here early though as it gets very busy indeed. Three sizes of carvery are available. Standard large and extra large. Massive selection of veg. Pace yourself if you fancy a dessert as they are HUGE!!
C. B.
Excellent service
Nice hot food
Shared a platter with my bestie it was beautiful
Ordered drinks and ice cream for my son and it was quick service would definitely recommend
M. G.
Our first time at Grove Farm today, the food was delicious, the staff were very efficient and friendly & nothing was to much trouble. Very well organised in respect of the covid virus restrictions & we felt very safe. The staff were a credit to the company
P. F.
We were given a good welcome on our first visit last Tuesday and didn't wait for a table. The music was too loud for us to have a comfortable conversation. The menu is impressive and the carvery very reasonably priced. Two of the group had lasagne which was served with chips, garlic bread and salad and they enjoyed it. However the carvery was not quite so good. The meat was moist and good (a choice of gammon, turkey or beef) but was served by a very unpleasant, surly man who certainly would not encourage us to go again. The vegetables were terrible, dried up and unpleasant to eat. We did not have a dessert.
C. D.
Good food, fast service and welcoming atmosphere.
Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food.
I went it at peak lunchtime and had no problem getting a table. Staff were all very pleasant.
Very convenient to the shopping area just over the road, too!
Definitely will return next time I'm in the area.
W.
Affordable food and drinks with friendly staff. Prompt service and a good choice with the carvery, family friendly place but can get quite busy at times. Cake away is always a highlight and you definitely get your money's worth.
R. V.
One off the best places in Leicester for a carvery book if you want to go it's best to you could be waiting otherwise
P. G.
Huge pub with separate kids area and excellent carvery, which is great value.
S. A.
Five stars for customer service! Five stars for food!
Sorry, only two and a half stars for the rest though - dirty mugs, dirty cutlery, tainted glass, cold plates to put hot breakfast on, only a small plate offered to put toast on for seven of us!
I take my hat off to the manager during our visit. He couldn't do enough for us. Attitude like his needs harvesting and handing out to all staff working in this sector. Cannot praise you highly enough and it takes a lot to impress me!
S. G.
Turned up without booking and we got seated within 10 mins.
Friendly staff.
Huge queue for the carvery but it was Sunday afternoon.
I had soup and a panini followed by choc brownie (pictured). HUGE portions.
The brownie was actually a sponge but still tasted good.
Looking at other diners, the carvery looked good with lots of choice.
Play area for under 5s
Lots of parking but you need to enter your car reg at the bar to avoid a parking fine (this wasn't well advertised).
Food as you'd expect from this type of pub...cheap and cheerful :)
J. F.
We have been several times to here and it's the first time one of the group was dissatisfied with their steak. My husband had the rib eye large steak and it was very grizzly and he was unable to even chew it.he's not one to complain so never said anything till waitress cleared table and asked what was wrong with it and asked if he would like another but by then we were about ready to order desserts to take home. Waitress was a lovely girl and came back apologising again and said to have a free dessert.hoping this will be the only time we are disappointed as it's such a nice place we enjoy going to.
A. S.
Good varied menu, great service, tasty food and fair price especially for the carvery

Breakfast we as lovely

A huge range of quality veg. Great choice of meats. Fairly priced. Would definately go again but probably worth trying not on a Sunday at peak lunch hours as it was slightly chaotic and I'm glad the good food made up for the crazy bar. As …

Overall it's not bad but have had some negative experiences in the past. Not bad enough to stop us going back.
A. M.
Nice food great service had a good time

Lovely roast
D. F.
Great food and a great place to have a pint.
A. F.
Lovely place to go for a carvery and reasonably priced
R. P.
Excellent all day breakfast.
M. R.
Lovely warm atmosphere. Staff always friendly accommodate when possible. Food lovely . Great kids inside play area. Credit to sue the manager lovely lady even at busy times all staff are polite. hard-working. Lovely pub credit to them. I have been a regular over the year's. Love this place .
J. T.
Lovely establishment, that serves amazing food at reasonable prices. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
L. D.
Good food, great prices, lovely carvery
P. S.
Love this pub! My favourite place for a carvery! Food is always good and nice atmosphere
B. G.
Great carvery, in particular the roasties! There’s always loads of veggies to choose from and the best bit is that you can take a massive slice of cake home too! Will definitely be back soon!
G. C.
Not far from the Marriott hotel in Leicester and a lot cheaper to eat at, all day carvery available and a pretty extensive menu catering for all tastes. We arrived about 8pm and a few things were off the menu, I guess at that time a busy pub would run out of some things on the menu. The food and drinks are really cheap and you can get a lot of food for very little money, 7 of us ate here and the bill was £130 for food and drink, including a bottle of red wine. It's not 5 star dining but well worth a visit
R. M.
Came here as a party of 7. Seated after about a 10 minute wait. The guy that seated us was polite and friendly and we assumed he was the duty manager or maitrè d as he was walking around with a clipboard wearing a smart shirt helping people with tables.
Ordered drinks at the bar which took about 15 minutes to do as it was really busy but we realised the Coke's and Dr Pepper was really flat when we got them back to the table. We called over the guy with clipboard and asked if he wouldn't mind just swapping our drinks to save us having to queue up at the bar again but he basically refused and said it was only his 2nd day working there and we HAD to return them to the bar. Weird because he was walking around like he was in charge. Confusing or what! Surely a good supervisor would just say okay and swap them - it would've taken him 30 seconds as we were sat right near the bar. Our food arrived which was mostly fine. The large fish n chips was lovely. One of our lasagne was over cooked compared to another on our table but we simply couldn't be bothered to try to complain and wait for a replacement.
Food generally good. The odd service from the clipboard guy baffled us though. We would return but maybe a quieter time so as to get better service hopefully.
j. c.
Good choice of food at carvery. However the service was very slow with only one lady carving and serving the roast plus keeping all the trays full.
The children's area was very cold with the air conditioning blowing freezing cold air.
K. S.
Great food. Very Family friendly.
S. L.
Lovely meal can recommend Hunters chicken
G. M.
Absolutely love this place. Not too expensive, really great food! Speedy service. Carvery is banging too!
W.
Lovely food & excellent service will be returning for more of the same thanks to all at the grove
D. C.
Run of the mill chain pub. Service from both the bar and kitchen has been slow on a number of occasions, carvery doesn't fair too badly but that's not saying much. Reasonable prices giving value for money which would be the main selling point.
e.
Been coming here with my family for a while now, food was great prices are good and staff are super friendly, only thing my dad noticed was the cakeaway, the cakes have got reasonably smaller over the past year or so and the prices have stayed the same. Probably won't be buying a cake away again but will be back for the great food!
Thanks
Sarah xxx
J. C.
Great service , great portions . In my opinion best carvery in Leicester. And my Mrs who's from the north of England says it's the best carvery she's ever been to
E. P.
Went there for dinner today quit good, rather a big Q at the cavery but food was good this time, the last time we went there it was quite poor not very hot and was over cooked but this time a big improvement. There’s ample parking and wheelchair friendly and you can order from the menu with a good choice. Toilet was clean and tidy.
W.
A group of 11 of us (including children) went here on a Sunday evening shortly before Christmas. The manager put several tables together for us so that we could all be seated together and all the staff were polite and welcoming.
I have been here many times in the past and the food has always been good and the staff friendly but this time they went above and beyond.
P. J.
Loved the food here some set meals but really a carvery, loved the food all fresh vegetables and the beef and turkey were excellent. The deserts were to die for with huge cakes and some great ice cream flavours. Great value.
N. W.
This place specialises at catering for the masses. Very busy, almost chaotic, with staff running around trying to bring some order to it. Food was hot and there was plenty of it. I went for the giant Yorkshire Pudding which was a bit like eating cardboard, and the roast potatoes were a bit like pebbles.
M. T.
Great value, you can choose your carvery size based on your appetite. Food is cooked well and tasty. The desserts are huge, and really good value.
J. P.
Carvery was nice 3 out of 4 puddings very nice the apple crumble was very stodgy could not be eaten time to find another way of cooking them you could cood the crumble top separate from the fruit it would only take you a few minutes this would make it nice and edible
R. M.
If you want peace and quiet turn left when you enter, if you want family atmosphere / fun, turn right.
All in all, a decent place to eat, the food was good and the cake is to die for, if you can't eat it there and then, they will gladly put it into a nice container to take home with you.
Would we go again, absolutely !
W. H.
Great carvery and probably have the best gluten free brownies ever, portion is so generous I haven't been able to finish it in one sitting yet. Obviously be going back to try again soon.
c. s.
Booked a table on the 13th October for our sons 21st, restaurant was busy but Hazel our waitresses were very attentive - thank you . The time flew and we managed to exceed our 3 hours free parking ! but the staff assured me that they would cancel any excess parking charge - thanks again for the brilliant night
S. H.
Not had very good meals here in the past. It has got so much better, they have improved the look & taste of the food. The staff have always been & still are very attentive & friendly
I. F.
Nice place to eat and also good for children's.
S. J.
Love the Grove for food and drink . Friendly staff and always welcoming. Can't beat the carvery and all at reasonable prices
S. S.
Lovely new build pub. Large car park outside. Good choice of beers, lagers and ciders. Plus other drinks. Good variety of well cooked food from the menu. Puddings and desserts to die for and available to take away too!
S. S.
Carvery was nice although covid made things hard with regards to ordering and plating up, average pub/restaurant.
D. H.
Awesome food can't fault it
A. V.
Carvery is always good, plenty to choose from, staff are all pleasant and helpful, kept really clean, very Covid aware. Nice friendly atmosphere.
A. H.
We had the carvery today. It was very busy when we went but we didn't have to wait long. The food was really tasty and very hot. We didn't have a pudding because we were full but they looked lovely.
S.
Carvery was nice, shame the Yorkshire puddings were so chewy otherwise it would of got 5 stars
t.
All of the different menu items i have chose have not disapointed me and some surprised me with how good they were. Good place for children to play with game consoles and claw machines! Meats are well cooked and are very tasty. Environment is nice aswell.
S. K.
Fairly reasonably priced food, a surprisingly diverse menu in addition to the Carvery, and excellent value desserts that will murder you based on their size. For instance £3.80 gets enough ice cream for 2 people to share and feel full and sleepy zzz.... Sorry.
N. L.
Took my family here for a birthday meal. Food was lovely but they were extremely busy. They did miss some things that we ordered and seemed to take ages to sort it out. But when it was sorted it was lovely. Quite surprised how cheep the bill was compared to other family restaurants we've been. Has a brilliant kids indoor play area with ps4's and arcade machines. The way thing at this place are the puddings they do a cake away service because the cakes are so huge you can take them home. Would go back but maybe atta less busy time. We did go on a Friday evening.
i. f.
Went to grove farm tonight, told there was going to be a 45 min wait due to lack of staff. Well very pleased I was only waiting for 20mins. Compliments to the chef on the night (Sue) and very friendly staff fantastic meal, everything nice and hot very tasty. Excellent service keep up the good work look forward to my next visit

Great meal out with family , good for the nephew's and nieces .
J. S.
Standard carvery. Does the job. Can be very busy at times. I've qued many times for 40+ mins, that can get you hot. They are generous with the meat and you can buy extras like sausages for only £1
T. L.
Easy to use App to reserve table and order and pay for food. Server Martin was very fun and friendly. Good Covid measures in place with hand sanitisers and one way system.
S. B.
Went for starter and mains. Food was amazing and big portions. Food came out hot and in excellent timed manner. Did not managed to finish mains as the starter (shared) was so big for 2. Staff are really friendly and professional.
A. B.
Great service, great cakes, good selection on menu
J. C.
A lovely meal and friendly staff
B. D.
Busy, be aware of needing to log your car registration inside pub as not clear and obvious with a potential fine if failure to do so. Food decent ,staff I found friendly child friendly not for cosy adult meal out really.
H. M.
The staff are very friendly. Unfortunately the carvery is always cold. Apple pie not very warm and pastry was a little tough. Maybe been in microwave.

Beers kept well, and a nice choice on draft. Carvery is always decent. There real pull for this place though is the dedicated child's area, kids love it!

Grove Farm offers excellent food at good prices with generous portions across starters, mains and desserts. They also have a carvery which I have not tried. There is a good range of lagers, ales, spirits, soft drinks and hot drinks available. Service is usually very quick, even at busy times but be prepared to wait to be seated during peak periods.

Call early or wait for a while to be searved. Food on the carvery well cooked and nicely presented. The cakes for afters are to die for. Could have more staff during the busy period. Don't forget two register your car when you arrive for parking perposes.

Spacious, friendly staff and a good quality carvery. Level access and parking for wheelchair users.
Space for children to play too if you have them!

Excellent place. Never had a bad meal here ever

Very busy, carvery is nice with lots of choice and good prices. This time the gravy was a bit tasteless. Service wasn't also up to its usual standard but they were very busy.

Frequent user of this establishment. Always great quality food. Service can be a little slow if you aren't having any carvery, but always worth the wait!

Had a lovely Sunday lunch today the food was excellent and the service too, our waiter was called Gordon, and he looked after us in every way

Nice carvery
One note you have to alow the staff to seat you at the weekend.
I found this out the hard way.

Great carvery with a good choice of veggies. Good service and area for kids

As a restaurant it's fine but doesn't work as a pub too well. It's a little frowned upon when you sit at a table and don't have any food. With the number of businesses surrounding it a lot of people go in for a quick drink rather than anything to eat. Maybe there should be an area specifically for those that just want a lunch drink.

Very friendly staff lovely food at a very reasonable price.

Loads of lovely things to choose from on the menu, the carvery is also lovely. Soooo many deserts to choose from including the range of ice-cream flavours on offer and all so delicious. You'll be spoilt for choice

Lovely meal as usual but very crowded. There needs to be a dedicated area for people waiting for a table to be able to congregate so not standing everywhere in the pub. Perhaps the area on the left hand side when you enter.

After being treated appallingly at The Bees Knees, myself and 10 others visited Grove Farm to carry on with our pre Christmas meet up. Many thanks for moving tables so we could all sit together. The food, as usual, was very good and the staff are lovely. Thank you.

I usually love grove farm but this is the first time I've been there for breakfast. Was chaotic, had to wait ages for sausages and bacon, one 4 slice domestic toaster which ment huge queues for toast and couldn't get to the tea due to the toast queue. I wouldnt go for breakfast again but love the evening meals.

Bit of a tough one. We had a terrible experience in our last visit, the food was bad, there was a sharp piece of plastic in my food (which they couldnt identify) and when we complained, the "manager" was dismissive and completely rude!
This companies only saving grace was a Lovely member of staff called Danielle. She could sense our frustration and disappointment and rushed over to help. She apologised profusely about the near frozen chips we were served, Blue Plastic found and explained that she would be sending it to Head Office to investigate and offered us our refunded money but also desserts on the house! An Unexpected but welcome gesture which turned our experience from a terrible one to a great one!

Went on a Sunday around 13:00 So it was busy. I had the tex-mex burger, it's a big boy of a burger. They have a nice desert cabinet and the cakes are huge. I had a slice of chocolate fudge cake and it finished me. You can also had cakes as takeaway which is a good idea so you don't make yourself ill like I did.
I've also had breakfast on a previous visit which was ok too

Good beer, but very busy on a Saturday night. Friday was much quieter surprisingly. There are loads of tables if you are prepared to look in the different areas.

A popular restaurant that has a carvery (Very similar to a Toby carvery). It has ample onsite free parking. It has an Italian style ice cream counter, as well as a cake counter. The staff are friendly, but I don't like the way that they serve pint glasses of Cola to an inch below the top of your glass - I asked and they said they have been told to do that!. Imagine if your received a pint of beer like that! They also don't do ice!? On the whole, standard pub fare, but rather uninspiring menu - this isn't the place to come to if you want something different. Most people come for the carvery.

Lovely carvery and huge puddings

One of the best carveys I have ever eaten great value for money happy an helpful staff definitely worth a visit.

We all had lovely meals, cant really fault the food, only 4 stars as the guy taking our food order was also talking to 2 other people at the same time! Slightly rude!
P. C.
Lovely meal good price fantastic sweets. One thing you have to be careful of is when you park your car you have to put your car registration number into a pad at the end of the bar or you will get a parking charge.
C. N.
Do you know what... ever time I've been here I have loved it I have not got a bad word to say about the food and would have given it 5 stars was is not for the waiting times that you some have.
Great food keep up the good work

We made a reservation at grove farm for after a funeral service we had been to, and the staff were not only so friendly but they managed to get us a big area secluded so we could just speak and not have to worry about anyone listening in. The food was excellent and with good portions for the price. Defineitly visit again.
C. G.
The meals are excellent but there could be an improvement on the way they do the carvery it must be a good place to have a meal because there was along wait to get your food but I enjoyed it the staff were helpful and seemed to enjoy there work

Great for pub meals and Sunday carvery
Will come again.

Went for Sunday Carvery, excellent with massive choice of potatoes and veg
M. B.
Had to send food back as it had clearly been sat there a while, the kids chips were cold, beans had a skin on them. Carvery was nice, a bit tight on their meat portions
M. G.
good service and great value for money

Very helpful staff , Dinner is very good but they are salt conscious so if you want more salt on your meat and dinner do it yourself. Nice selection of vegetables including roast potatoes.
Meats are BEEF ,TURKEY and pork.
Some of us ordered ribs and peri peri chicken wings. The Burgers and chips wwow to wait for and eat well good. Very good selection of cocktails and children friendly drink ie slush ice stuff. Good ice creams and selections. Plates are priced mega , standard and small. M/Fridays cheaper rates and Saturday Sunday different rates. Deserts are very nice if you can find the space.

The meal was great. But some of the vegetables were very hard. Not all people like hard vegetables so why not do both soft & hard vegetables that way they will have the best of both.
B. W.
Lovely roast dinner, except Brussels not cooked enough.
B. R.
Good service, very friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. We didn't get around to trying any of the cakes, but they look amazing. Will defiantly be going back.
D. M.
Cheap, basic food. Good for a quick visit if starving as food come quickly but more presentation In McDonald's then there is here. Looks like it's stright out of a tin and slapped on your plate. No wounder they've had hygiene issues.
S. P.
Good food at a fair price
T. P.
Can get very busy but nice hearty food with a good carvery selection and menu items. There's an area especially for kids so if you'd like a less "screamy" meal I'd sit the bar end.
