Fantastic sports bar staff are very down to earth always helpful and polite nice clean environment table service is very quick I visit a minimum of once a week and everytime I am very happy with the service provided. The snooke table cloth Could do with cleaning before opening as not good if the man comes in while you're playing and just cleans and irons the table that's not being played on I think this could easily be avoided apart from that I love this place I would love it even more if it opened at 10 so I could get more practice in as I work in the afternoon so only can get a hour in before getting ready for work I have also updated your opening times with Google as it states 11 o'clock but you don't open till 12 but your website says 12. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed great experience thanks to all the staff including management for keeping it going so I have somewhere to practice snooker 😊

Brilliant service! I came tonight for a game of pool with my mates and we had a great time. Believe we were served by maddy and maria and they were both helpful chatty lasses. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. 👍

Nice place to hang out. It's members only so would have to get one on first visit. It will only cost you a fiver and you get one free drink with it. You can play variety of games including pool, snooker, darts, ping pong etc. Food / snacks are nice as well. Everything reasonably priced. Good to have someone with valid students ID so you can get a discount.

We are regulars, they have a range of tables and activities to choose from, a decent menu to snack from (including veg options) and are really good at customer service. They will come to your table and ask if you need anything else. Highly recommended

If you like pool or snooker this a nice place to go. You need to be a member which is a few quid but comes with a free drink.

If you're looking for somewhere to blow off some steam after work - play a bit of pool/snooker/darts/table tennis, have a drink, catch up and watch some sport then couldn't recommend more. The staff are really funny with sometimes a dry sense of humour but once you've got to know them they treat you like family. Students are often in due to cheap prices and great deals on. Food menu is pretty decent and not expensive either. Only thing that let's the place down is the toilets (really old and falling apart - also should have a baby change facility if supposed to be Family Friendly) and decor but hopefully the refurbishment will sort that all out so keep your eyes peeled. Definitely a place that can make you feel at home 👍

The place needs a massive revamp (it looks too dark, old and dirty) in places. I am unsure how business is, as it always seem quite empty when I go! The prices chance from staff member to staff member (which cannot be right?) Overall, the pool, snooker tables are not too bad and the darts and other side games are a great idea. I would suggest better prices and more deals!

Brilliant and always helpful staff. The snooker club lives up to it's potential; affordable prices of pool table rent, free games of darts with purchase of food and drink. Genuinely a really great place to hang out with friends during free time. However, drinks could be cheaper.

Nice pool hall, plenty to do, lots of American and English pool tables, a few snooker tables, some fussball tables, some good quality dartboards, air hockey and table tennis. Beer's good, not a bad price at all. Didn't eat the food but the people next to us, theirs looked pretty good. Nice atmosphere also. Only reason it's not 5 stars is there's not a lot of parking near the place and it's a student area so any parking is a trek away. Worth a visit though. Cost us £13.50 for an hour and a half which seemed pretty good value.

The offer days on wednesday are great. They used to be much better when they first opened because tables were mainted. I would say their standards of quality table and clothes and cues have dropped. That being said, pool is great fun, especially when in a group.

Came for a night of fun with son and daughter in law, come often but unfortunately had cider spilt all over my coat due to a faulty tray someone was carrying drinks on, dry clean only, then went to the ladies loo, 2 doors wouldn't shut/lock, one was blocked and the one that I had a wee in had no loo paper!! Not the fun night I had in mind. Usually enjoy it here but standards seem to slip due to not enough staff on, I don't think 2 people on a Saturday night is enough Hope better next time.

As far as sports bars go, it's alright. The pool tables aren't exactly pristine but there are a decent number of tables and good snack food available. It's membership only so you'll have to join (it's only 5 pounds) to play. There all also a couple of half decent snooker tables if that's your thing. 4 stars

Food is okay. Chips are a bit dull but nachos and burgers are great. Free to play darts (£5 deposit to borrow darts). Pool tables are in great condition. Some of the staff are friendly some aren't so friendly but fine.

Honestly I don't like to give bad reviews about this place seriously need maintenance. Carpets stinks snooker tables cloths are DIY repatched stitches that type repairs leave you lump that interferes with play and affect the consistency of play. Plus everyone needs to be a member if you want to stay there no guest allowed with members why ????

Riley's is an all around great place with friendly staff and people. It is a membership only place so you won't see many people outside of that radar. Students also get a free discount if they show up with a NUS card or school ID

Went for 1200 hrs and no one else in on a wet Saturday!! Clean..Good selection of cue and equipment...table we had in good condition. Food was available with various deals looked good value but we opted for limited beer options which were bit on expensive side. Parking not easy and luck of draw as can't park outside. Staff friendly.
