Lovely Food. Great Service. Massive Portions. Felt safe whilst visiting. Would highly recommend. They also have a little second hand book corner which was cute! Definitely check your bill before paying as they did mix it up twice but easily rectified.

Fish and chips are absolutely delicious. Lots of other choices (burgers, lasagne, chilli beef with tortilla, garlic bread). Also they do a Sunday roast. You have a choice of 2 meats (out of a choice of 4) and then unlimited veg. Everything that you can think of including sauces (mint, cranberry etc) is available . Lovely friendly pub atmosphere. Just got room for a pudding - will review it later. This room (see photo) is the quieter room. There are more seats all over the pub - so ideal for a meal for 2 right up to a big family or work get together.

Been for a evening meal and a Sunday lunch, best Sunday lunch I have had for a long time, so many vegetables to choose from, friendly staff too, puddings were lovely too.

We moved to thurmaston a few months back and are chuffed we found the Harrow...after popping in on weekends for a few great Guinness we decided to have some food as it looked great. Had some seabass and it was lovely and the scampi too...excellent value! Had the carvery today and they accommodated two nut roasts, a gluten free and a regular carvery without any issue. Friendly staff, great food and lovely atmosphere!

Well I've just got home from my first visit to the Harrow Inn absolutely delicious carvery and very generous portions greeted by a very friendly staff and as for the rather hilarious scotsman serving up the food well this guy puts Billy Connoly to shame happy to say I've found my happy place for Sunday dinner.

Having moored up in Leicester Marina we walked round to the Harrow Inn. I made the mistake of ordering the Fish&Chips which was fabulous so when I went back the second time …. I had the Fish&Chips. The rest of the menu looks great so when I go back I’ll try the infamous Harrow burger( no I won’t…. I’ll have the Fish&Chips!) a friendly local with no airs and graces and a chef that cooks simply the best Fish&Chips….ever

We eat there every Wednesday lunch time and have never had a bad meal yet. Food is excellent. Beer is excellent. Staff are friendly and welcoming, polite and good mannered. The pub is amazing. I would advise trying the carvery on a Sunday, but make sure you book.

Lovely clean, welcoming traditional pub. Polite and friendly staff. Pub food looked amazing although we only had time for a couple of drinks and a cob each. The cobs were great too by the way. Crusty cheese and onion and ham and tomato. Will definitely be going back again soon. Spotless loos. Large car park too. :-) :-)

Visited today with hubby and 2 kids, outstanding service and amazing food . Staff couldn't be any more Helpful, quick and polite. It was a first visit for us but definatly not last. We just found a new Sunday dinner pub. Plenty of food and delicious. Only comment would be that there was too much food and a but was wasted but that would be the only thing to change.

The Harrow is a local pub, but not necessarily for local people. Beer is good, food of a consistently high quality and a very reasonable price, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Outside of COVID there is regular live music on a Saturday night, and they play an active part of the community. this is not a gastropub, just a good local pub, with a good food menu.

Our regular for Sunday lunch normally after church. Good selection of roast meats with variety of veg. Both wife and I experience of the catering world so fussy but this meets our needs and more. Beers for me unusual as like IPA and Tiger but selection of four and ok. Staff friendly and give the impression of a family run pub. Going there again today.

Only walked in to pick up some tickets from my good friend Scott , I'd been in there 2 minutes and a group of inebriated early doors attempted to take the piss out of me for being different to the norm and actually having hair haha.. Not really what you need when you've had a bad time recently to be honest especially from my old local, However as I'm use to the trade to diffuse the voices of thousands from the stage it wasn't such a problem for myself but could feel unwelcoming to some folk going in for a quite drink or meal. Apart from that I've had some great nights performing in there many years ago along with good nights as a customer.

Service by the man behind the bar could of been more welcoming.. didn't have to wait too long for food and when it arrived it looked good especially the triple stack burger.. only one thing I was disappointed with my food is that the peas were out of a tin and not frozen peas.. it's good to know that they also have live music on Saturday.

Friendly pub restraunt with plenty of seating and car parking for about 20-30 cars. The beer is cold and the food good. Located on the outskirts of watermead park its a nice place to come if you looking for beer and food the restraunt closes at 2pm and reopens again at 6pm which is its only drawback has other pub restraunts in the area serve food throughout the day, would recommend a visit!

Quiet pub whenever I have been in. Do some wicked sandwiches. Cosy little suntrap of an outside seating area. Has pool table and darts. Some unusual selection of bitters as well as the standard fare. Come here once in a while as local when the thirst take hold.

The Harrow is a lovely little pub in thurmaston have been here in many occasions food always great and service as well . The two for £10 deal is brill shame they couldn't extend it for a bit later as 7 pm is a bit early .
