Excellent for Sunday lunches and normal day food. There's a special Sunday lunch menu, with a decent choice for veggies. The main courses also come in three different size portions. There's plenty of covered outside seating too. The staff are very and efficient. Highly recommended :)

They do special offer meals. Food is nice. They give you scissors to able to cut tomato sachet and no other pubs do. Even with bill at the end give one free miniature mint chocolate. Staff are friendly.

Limited menu. Nice decor. Friendly staff. Had broccoli and stilton soup but it was served Luke warm. All other dishes on the table received praise though. Has outside seating also. Access to indoor area is via steps.

Welcoming and friendly service with no rush for the food order (table x 8) The Nags Head has always been a traditional food pub and can't fault them. Though I did not partake myself, the puddings are good value for money. The only reason I have marked down a star is due to my omelette filling being below par and slightly overcooked 😥 I have no reservations about returning ✊

Popped in today for some Sunday dinner. Not been here for a long time. This used to be my local when I lived in Leicester, my mum, grandma and I had a Sunday lunch from here, most weeks in the past. The decor and layout has changed (for the better looks great) but the quality has not changed at all... Still fabulous and tasty. My mum and I enjoyed it lots. Our only regret was that we didn't have room for pudding haha. Great place, friendly staff and locals... highly recommend 👍

Love the nags head it's a friendly place. We went for Sunday dinner the food was lovely all freshly made and very tasty. I liked the fact that you can pick what size you have as I'm not a really big eater and the small one was perfect for me they also do gluten free gravy ! The restaurant is nicely presented and spotlessly clean. The girls who served us were very nice with smiley faces . Nothing was too much trouble . I would highly recommend even if your just going for a drink . One little niggle I was cold but I'm sure they will sort that out now winter is coming.

What a great afternoon for my 91 year old mum, who was land lady of the nags back in 1958, she had a lovely time. Thank you so much to the lovely caring staff, it was a absolute pleasure to be around staff who really did care about us. Not been in for nearly 30 years, transformed inside to a bright, modern gastro-pub. Unfortunately, I missed the kitchen so had to settle for a lovely pint of Guinness instead.

Staff are great. Went for a Sunday roast. Food was good, great to have a couple of vegetarian options too. Marked down by one star as the roast stuffing was sloppy which wasn’t to my taste. Reasonably priced. The service was timely even though the place was full.

First time visit since alterations made to the lounge/dining area. Very smart, a touch wooden looking, but plenty of room if you just want to enjoy a massively overpriced lager. Landlord seems to enjoy patrolling the area with military timed marches from behind the bar as though looking for escaped convicts. Will happily pay another visit, but certainly won't make it regular.

nice staff, food was lovely but could have been a little hotter and as we had roast dinners the gravy was very watered down and had no taste. otherwise id have given them 5 stars. there was 11 people with me and we had no problems with having separate tabs. i would suggest that if there are a lot of you going you pre book a table.

Popped into here lunch time whilst on a 7m walk they had excellent social distancing measures In place we sat in the garden it was table service we ordered from lunchtime menu food was great so was the ale. The staff were very friendly well done to you all

A friend and I went to The Nags Head in Glenfield on Sunday 24th February for lunch. We will definitely be going again. The dinner was excellent very tasty with good choices . it was then followed with a delicious sweet. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.

Went recently for Sunday lunch with family. Best pub in Glenfield, lovely food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. The staff will go out of their way to help you, and are very chatty, making for a really friendly atmosphere. Friday nights are very busy, Saturday nights are more chilled out, but we always have a lovely time whenever we go.

It's my local pub. So am l bias? No not really. But it's a bustling local pub that serves lovely food. Two pubs on the main Street that cater for different crowds. Try them both. In the modern day with pubs how they are they are both good. We are very lucky in Glenfield.

The food was well above village pub standard,excellent is an understatement. .and portions were spot on. Came down from Essex and went to the Nags Head for Sunday Lunch. I must say it was absolutely Stunning food. cooked to perfection. I was slightly greedy and had onions rings on the side as these were suggested to try and again I was not let down. Next time in Leicester I will be paying this venue another visit.
