Went along for the Monday night Open Mic. Really friendly atmosphere, entertaining acts, and great real ales. Lots of fun. Will be back!

It's a friendly local pub with a superb choice of beers from independent breweries. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and the beer garden is superb with lots of booths with heating to sit outside in the summertime. They also had an outside barbecue going when I was there serving the usual hotdogs and burgers. I was very impressed and it's well worth a visit

Perfect for a pre or post match drink, good selection of IPA's. On the day I went for a freshly BBQ'd burger & pint, watched a match on sports TV, all prior to seeing City win 3-0, a good afternoon.

Went for the beer festival, enjoyed it but lost a star as the grumpy blonde bar maid was on her own, so there were long queues for drinks

Not been in since before lock down. The lass working was friendly and helpfull. Beer garden was fantastic. The pub managers who went even working took time to say hi and have a natter. Good experience. Will be going back.

Traditonal English pub. Whats not to like? ..if you don't like a great range of cask ales, cosy pub feel or local football (especially The Imps) you maybe disappointed!. Great service and warm hospitality.

Been coming in the Eagle for years. Always a friendly welcome and some great beers. The beer garden is a hidden gem with covered seating and a marquee/stage area. Had some great nights here. Highly recommended.

Since the Golden Eagle was refurbished it is a much nicer pub to visit. Before it was the brilliant selection of real ales that drew the customers in. Now its the relaxing, friendly atmosphere and the real ale, of which there is plenty to choose from
