Lovely pub, I'd recommend to book a table in advance as it can get busy at times. Friendly service, tasty food, prices are not bad either!

Use this pub regularly but last two times our visits are not good. Been today at 12.30 ish and were told it was a 40min wait which we were OK with so no problem but when our food came out it was barely like warm chips nearly cold and burger not a lot hotter ordered extra onion rings at over £2.00 a portion which arrived then mu husband said think we should have some on or plate as well and on checking menu yes our meal should have had 3 per plate as standard we had none only our extra portion. It's a shame we are the type that don't like to complain but staff were so busy anyway our food would have been even longer.

We went to the Quiz on Wednesday and the welcome to the pub is so warm and inviting! The bar service was amazing, served so quickly with a smile and so polite! And the food was phenomenal and for such decent prices! I have found a place I am willing to become a regular too, I definitely recommend!!!

Best steak my partner has had in ages! cooked perfectly. Ryan behind the bar was really friendly and very helpful. After a bad experience here a few years ago we thought we would try again so glad we did!

Visited for tea on a Thursday evening with Mrs/ kids We did not book but were offered seating outside which was fine as the weather was lovely and warm and in truth would have opted for outside dining given the choice anyway. Staff were friendly and welcoming and a nice feel to the venue overall. Prices in line with most pub menus I guess and food was more than acceptable. My advice would be to pre book a table unless the weathers fine and like me you don't mind the outdoors. Would use again no problem.

We were warned on arrival that there was a 30 minute wait for food which we were fine with, but it came much quicker than expected. Had a lovely meal, and even better because the burgers were buy 1 get 1 free !!! Will definitely pop in again when we're in the area.

Food was fair and pretty quick to arrive. Feel it was priced slightly high for what you got. Staff were polite and helpful, although we were unlucky enough to be seated near a table (at 5pm with a child) with 4 very loud adults that felt the need to use a swear word with every breath they took. The tables outside were covered in ants ( not just 1 or 2... Thousands on each set). I can't say I would not return again though unfortunately this establishment would not be on the top of list for future meals

Excellent food quality for its price. Portion sizes are generous, especially on the challenge menu. Drinks feel on par price wise if not slightly above average however this feels reasonable considering the food pricing and rising costs. Staff were friendly and professional, even with unusual and particular drink requests. I witnessed one member of bar staff working an order for a table that seemed rather demanding, however they remained professional. Another member of staff was inexperienced as they were still new to the barkeeping role however they performed well when faced with an unusual drink request and their teammates were very supportive. Would return again happily.

Our last visit was goid but our visit before this was excellent. Part if the Greene-King franchises the food is usually fairly consistent. The only major downside to eating at the Nosey Parker is that it is always extremely noisy. That apart, the food is good value so give it a try.

Cannot fault the Nosey Parker. Sophie, Ryan and all other members of the team are always so accommodating. We love going there for meals, and we were even happier when we found out they did not one, but two quiz nights. We love our Wednesday quiz nights at Nosey!

Usually good service but took about 25 mins getting a drink order from app, and the potato skins on 2 meals we ordered were very burnt. It also took so long for our plates and old glasses to be cleared, didnt seem there was enough staff on for a friday night.

Very nice food. Polite and smiley staff. Toilets were very clean although not keen on the toilet roll Despenser..that really needs to be changed. Extremely busy on Sundays so need to book. We had a 50 minute wait for food but we're told so that was good rather than wondering where it was! Definitely go again if ever we are up that way.

Visited today in the evening as we love the bogof burger deal and it never disappoints! They were really busy but Ella managed to find us a table and the food came out relatively quickly considering how busy they were. Amy brought out our meals and was very attentive and asked us if we needed anything more. Phil was lovely when checking up on us to see how our meals were and promptly clearing our plates when we finished and offering puddings. Sophie and Nick were very polite on the bar and served us quickly and with a smile even though they were rushed off their feet! All round a brilliant experience and we will be visiting again! So much better service when busy compared to other pubs in the area!

Such a fab pub. A young man named Nick welcomed us at door, it was a polite and friendly introduction to somewhere we had never visited before. It appeared we arrived at a busy time without a booking yet they managed to fit us in which we were grateful for. The wait time was not bad considering how busy it was, any time waiting was worth it for the quality of the food! It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to visit again to try more of the menu, could not recommend highly enough!

I took my nephew for a special date after school, he was hangry! We was seated without reservations extremely quickly. We were seated no more than 25 mins when our food came out looking delicious, and to top it off, the chocolate ice cream sundae that came out for dessert, looked insane! Drinks are a bit expensive compared to other pubs in the area, but the food... It was cheap and absolutely incredible quality. I had the stacked burger, a friend had fish and chips, and another had a steak. We all thought the food quality was fantastic and will definitely be going again. Will recommend.

Found the staff very friendly and accommodating, generally clean and service was fast enough considering it was busy. The little notes was a nice touch. Personally I found the food a little bland and the burger was barely warm but the other 3 people at our table enjoyed theirs, and I did go for a basic dish so for that alone I think it is unfair to rate any lower than 4*.

Was here Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday last week. Couldn't fault anything, always love coming here for food. Me and my husband absolutely love the dry rub chicken wings (that being said I rarely eat chicken on the bone so you're doing something right), we usually end up ordering 2 lots so we can take some home😂 the waits for food can be long but as long as you're with the right company then you don't even notice how long it's been, you're just too busy chatting and having a good time with your drinks. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks. Will definitely be coming back more over the next coming weeks, we just can't stay away! Food is always beautifully cooked and if there are ever any issues with anything they're sorted then and there. One of our favourite places to come to for food❤️

Unplanned visit for birthday meal as was in Lincoln. Staff greeted us at door, very friendly atmosphere. Short wait for food and drinks. Delicious, juicy burgers, very filling. The chips and onion rings were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this pub. A table next to us ordered steaks which came out on a griddle and we could hear them sizzling will have to try those next time!! A great choice on the menu too.

Always nice food here, the Chick 'N' Mix is pretty substantial, most people share it it's so big. Booked a table at very short notice, arrived just after opening time & was very surprised how busy it was, we checked in & was shown to our table, a guy called Ryan came & explained what we had to do i.e ordering drinks food etc, we ordered drinks & then perused the extensive menu, took us a while to decide then I went to order at the bar again to be served by Ryan, he answered all the questions, he explained that there might be a little delay because they were extremely busy which I thought was good, best to be honest, ordered & paid for the Surf, Turf & Chuck, actually didn’t have to wait to long, it was brought on very hot skewers which was explained to us to be careful by the waiter again it was Ryan, The food was delicious, the steak was a bit chewy but still edible, In all it was very enjoyable, definitely go again

Been to the Nosey parker a few times, mainly at lunchtime if I'm out with the good lady. Best to book, even midweek as it does get busy, we managed to get a table for two on entry. We were shown to a table and advised it could be a 35min wait on food, you can order everything from your table or you can order from the bar, very friendly and helpful staff. Never had a bad meal and this time was no exception, prices very good and not your average pub grub, well worth a visit and they can cater for large parties, but as I said were possible book in advance.

It's the first time I have been to this pub and it was OK. We had a bit of a wait for our food to come but it was early December and they were busy with a couple of Xmas parties so excusable, any longer though and I would of started to get mardy as I'm diabetic and my blood sugars were quite low, obviously they didn't know that but anything over 45 minutes of waiting is getting close to the bone IMO.

This pub was very busy, but staff were courteous and polite. You have to wait to be seated, to ensure your table and chairs have been thoroughly cleaned. They do advise booking, but try and fit as many as possible in. It was quite a long wait for food (45 mins) but we were informed of this when we arrived. We were seated outside, drinks came straight away. The food arrived hot and fresh and was very nice. They do cater for wheelchairs and it's all ground level. Would go again.

I went to this pub yesterday and had to sit outside due to Corona changes in the way things are run now in pubs but the staff were very helpful and our food came out hot and was a very enjoyable evening. They allowed us to have the toilets inside to change baby ak overall it was a lovely evening. Tables are separate for social distancing and we had to book in advance but we managed to get a table a hour before we arrive so no issues with a waiting list.

Well done guys. After such a lengthy lay off, which I'm sure placed great difficulty on both the business and personal lives of the staff, its fantastic to see you back up and running again! Disappointing to see the over critical and negative reviews on here to be honest. I'd have thought after so long being stuck at home, that people would be happy to just get out and enjoy a drink instead of complaining about things and showing a poor understanding of the fact that you're only just reopening after being closed for so long and that there are forgivable teething issues. It is however, nice to see positive praise too- I wasn't able to get a table this weekend but I'll be visiting during the week and I'm just delighted to have my local pub back.

We went during the Eat Out to Help Out and while the pub was busy, ordering off the app was a doddle and although the food took a while it was hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. The food only took a while because of how busy it was and obviously a lot of people were ordering the same thing. It was the chancellor's 50% off day and although busy it didn't feel that way. The food, I had chicken on a skillet, chips n peas , was lovely. Hot and perfectly cooked. Not been here for a long time. When they painted the building it put us off. I preferred the lovely red brick building and we thought they had ruined it. Our daughter however kept begging to go even though we knew there was no longer a play area which is a great shame. A lot of Greene King premises have removed them and as a family it has put us off the chain. However we were really impressed. We took a chance on Fathers Day and walked in. We were squeezed in as a lot of tables were reserved. The food we ordered was amazing. It was reasonably priced and the staff were fantastic. We are now converted and will return!

Only really go here for events, certainly wouldn't choose it if we were just going out for a meal. Food is not that great and quite basic. Very little vegetable options, healthy eating is clearly not a priority here. To give an example on quality chicken fillets are dry and rubbery and the side salad consists mainly of leaves that taste quite bitter. The app for ordering doesn't work very well. It keeps saying certain drinks are not available, when actually they are. It can also add things to your order without you realising, so checking the basket before checkout is essential! However, staff are polite, friendly and helpful, which is much appreciated.

I'd finished two cups of tea before our meal came... But hey it was busy. All our food started to arrive... But my youngest granddaughters = all American burger = was cold inside! The young man server took it back for us to be changed. Unfortunately when she got it back we were well into finishing our meal. All our other meals were good. Well presented and tasty. The manager was very apologetic to my daughter. when she went up to pay the management had given my granddaughters meal free and 20% off the bill! These incidents would not stop us dining there again. It's well worth a visit.

Went on bank holiday friday, about 1.40pm, alot of tables reserved, told tk find empty table, when we did there was about 6 tables that had not been emptied from last customers, cleared a table then had to ask someone to wipe table and then had to ask to get cutlery, for a bank holiday was quite disappointed, then when we went to order bar staff just standing chatting amongst themselves, they saw us but when somebody else came they went straight to them to take order, soon said we was first. Food good though.

3 stars for the out front staff, no stars for the Kitchen. We went for my Sunday lunch, we were told there was a 40 minute wait, but we didn't mind. some time after we were told there was no Roast Lamb, and were offered beef or chicken, so we ordered beef, 5 minutes later the nice waitress came back obviously embarrassed to say there was no beef, so my husband ordered Mixed Grill and i had Ribs, my husband cut into the 'Steak" we both couldn't believe our eyes it was a burger, and not the Steak that was stated on the menu. My ribs were tasteless, with just a sliver of sauce on the top. We called for the manager who was very nice, and agreed with what we were saying. He did refund us our Roast moneys. However we are so disappointed and although we have been quite regular visitors, it will be a long time before we will use the Nosey Parker or even recommend it.

Popped in for lunch during shopping. Average pub with average pub grub. Reasonablely priced. Sunday roast was edible, but not great. 50 min wait for food. "Roast beef" was obviously cold slices that had then been reheated on the grill alongside the burgers and stakes. Yorkshire's were cakie and stuffing had definitely been sat around a while, but veg and roasties were ok. Most of the staff were polite and helpful, except the lad that took my food order at the bar... Didn't say hello or thank you and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. Didn't advise us of the food wait either. The kids enjoyed their meals, but we won't be back anytime soon...there are plenty of better places to eat around Lincoln at the moment.

I rang to book for Xmas meal for 4 however I was told no need to book although I was told on a previous visit that I had to book and pay a deposit. We got there and had to wait this was at about 6pm, the wait was about 20 mins which was fine but the speed of the courses were appalling. We had out last course brought (after asking where it was) at 9.50 pm. The staff were very friendly and worked very hard it was just too busy, hence the slow service. My starter was Christmas Nachos, I would have preferred the sausage to be much hotter as they were only warm. The main was ok but the pudding was quite hard and chewy, I think over cooked.

Good food, my steak was cooked to perfection, liked the idea of the sizzling platter it was served on, shame they had run out of apple crumble but the treacle sponge was nice the sharing sweet my daughter and boyfriend had was immense. Toilets could have been better.

The food here is always good, and there are some monster portions if you want to seriously over indulge the carnivore in you!! Only reason for the 4 stars is we went with friends who where over from Denmark. We wanted to eat and catch up but Wednesday is quiz night and the PA was so loud that conversation was very difficult.

Second visit to the Nosey Parker and this time went mid afternoon ( 07/09/20 ) I had steak & ale pie which was gorgeous my daughter had fish & chips which she said was lovely( we do come from Grimsby so know our fish ) lol, my friend had surf & turf which looked very nice, and daughter's bf had chicken skewers & chips loads of, all in all you get what you pay for and I can honestly say that the food here at the Nosey Parker is delicious hot & tasty...will definitely be back again, hopefully leave room for a pudding next time. 👍
