We tried this branch when we moved to Lincoln last December. Service was very great. The staff are friendly. We ordered S&L sharer for 15.99 £. We enjoyed the meal.

J.Just want to say we had an absolutely amazing time yesterday for bottomless brunch! Staff were absolute brilliant from the minute we walked in, we're not left with a delay to top us up unlike many other places we really did get the bottomless experience! Our server was Bradley, and he Was a gem, really really made our day, as a service industry worker myself he went above and beyond and I can see him working far up the ladder with his career! He definitely deserves some major kudos!!! Will definitely be back!

B.Me and my partner went for some cocktails, in which we ordered. As it was busy, we split up to get a table and order the drinks. During this time my partner was harassed by some grumpy old people at the bar. However an awesome bar person - Charlie, stood up for my partner and dealt with the situation. She came over lady and spoke to us, making sure we were okay.
Top level of service, going above and beyond what you'd expect :)

L. H.Very impressive in terms of post-covid precautions, they have managed to retain the feel of the pub whilst making you feel safe. The food is decent and the portions are generous. We had slight issues with the deserts which burnt our mouths but the staff handled the issue well.

They must have a successful formula, because we went on a Sunday evening and most of the pubs and bars in Lincoln city centre were empty, but the Slug and lettuce had a lot of customers. Decent food at reasonable prices. A few veggie and vegan options. Upstairs toilets may be difficult for those with mobility problems. Good atmosphere without loud music.

C. C.Bottomless brunch was an incredible experience. The service from Andrew and Gemma was absolutely fantastic. We had been let down by another establishment but was looked after here. Would definitely go again! Andrew - what a guy! If only every waiter had his charisma and love for his job!
S. B.We probably didn’t pick the right day to stop off here for lunch, since the staff admitted that they were short that day, and it showed. Most of the empty tables were dirty or had empty plates / glasses on, and there was a sense of disorder about the place. Despite that we remained and found one of the nice round booth tables in the centre. Upon ordering food at the bar we were advised that there’d be an hour’s wait, but in reality it turned up around fifteen to twenty minutes later.
Unfortunately the quality of what was served wasn’t great. It was nice to take advantage of their midweek offer on main meals but the scampi was overcooked and dry. Portion sizes weren’t the best either, but part of me wonders whether that was because of the deal, rather than normal practice.
Clearly one of the selling points is the good location, paired with a chain that you know what to expect. Given the situation the staff were under, I’d give it another go, but hopefully it isn’t the norm since there’s plenty of other choices in the area which appeared to be equally as popular.

Also a big thank you to Andrew and his fellow servers at the Slug & Lettuce, the pub was extremely clean, the food was great, (I sent my compliments to the chef, the steak was cooked just as I'd asked, medium rare) and the service was impeccable, We'll be back soon 😊
e. o.Visited today, me and a friend went to the bar to get two cocktails. We were asked for ID as usual, but when we gave in our ID’s the bartender (I think her name was Hannah??) proceeded to look us up and down and took a horrendous amount of time to verify they were real. I think she was upset that they were actually real. Even after confirming with another member of staff, we both felt like we were being a nuisance asking for a drink. When the drink was made she slammed the card machine down on the bar. Usually have a good experience here but it was just rather unpleasant.
a. b.2 for 1 cocktails you can't complain about! It is busy and very loud but the decor is great and tables are cleared quickly and it's clean.

S. P.3 of us Popped in for lunch during the afternoon and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how the venue has improved since our last visit . We chose a table that had Christmas lights over it giving a garden party feel. The member of staff behind the counter was chatty and friendly and the sharing platter we ordered was well presented, cooked properly and delicious.

B. H.I appreciate the bottomless brunch is aimed at those who wish to indulge alcohol wise. However I do think food could be better quality. I have eaten in Lincoln,Nottingham and London and have always enjoyed the food but this morning, in Lincoln,was such a let down. Cold, tasteless, rubbery pancakes. One of my colleagues believes it to be the worst full English she has had. The manager said she would feed my concerns back and that you have had good feedback as to value for money. Yes, I agree that alcohol wise, it may be for some people and maybe had the food been more enjoyable, then I might have enjoyed it but I certainly won't be hurrying back. Our waitress Phoebe was outstanding and I sincerely hope she gets to keep her tip! As far as I !am concerned a total waste of my money!

We sat outside and the ground is rather unstable making you balance the chairs and tables or having to wedge something under the legs. Food was very tasty- we had the vegan burgers however we were not offered any cutlery or napkins- fhe burgers were very messy.

They were doing pocket and bag searches on the door as there had been a lot of drink spiking in the town recently which was great and made us feel very safe and welcome.
I guess that might have been why there were less drinkers as searches for just one pint would put you off?
Food was okay but minimal portion and the app didn't work as the barman also quoted
So yes slug served purpose of eating but soon off elsewhere

R.Went for bottomless brunch yesterday and the service was amazing. As soon as we had an empty glass it was refilled promptly. Specifically, Phoebe, Jared and Marley made it the best experience, couldn’t ask for better staff!!
R. F.Slug & Lettuce Lincoln have recently refurbished their bar/restaurant areas and it looks absolutely fab! 'Instagrammable' came to mind in a similar way to the Botanist, if a little lower on the pecking order.
Food was fairly good, my partner's meal was fantastic although the nachos lacked in adequate cheese and topping & the southern fried chicken was a bit dry. Desserts were lovely - best part of the meal. 241 cocktails always a pleasure although the menu was significantly reduced for some reason. Outside seating was good & we did not have a booking.

I will say this time the cocktails, which are 241, was actually like slush puppies, there was so much ice in it was actually falling out the glass.and we left Second one and went for different one, and we could not finish it as in just melted into slush again. We get 241 is great but just awful ,actually ice juice really nothing special might as well got a juice drink. So 3 stars this time 😞

On the food front, they're very good. It's 50% off on Mondays currently, so a great incentive to pop in if you're in town.
Drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is pretty great. They also have a beer garden which has a bar section.

Inside is nice and spacious, plenty of drinking opportunities but a small menu for food (typical pub food)
While they are sometimes queing at the door to order I can assure you that is a 5-10 minute wait time at the most

We never felt like we were abandoned like you can with other places in town. What an absolute credit to the team she is and a lovely young lady. We come here all the time and she is always lovely. We also like the guy behind the bar with big curly hair, he’s also amazing and thank you to Gemma the manager for sorting out brunch for a group of girls that can’t make their minds up!! If you do sit outside, there are arrows directing you to various covered areas, including with heaters although it wasn't clear on how to switch them on.

P. B.Usually busy, and for good reason. There's 2 for 1 on a wide range of cocktails (provided you buy two of the same), as well as a lot of great food options.
We went for three of the starters to share, as well as a sharer plate of nachos. The sharers have deals when you buy 3 or 5, which meant that even as a big eater, the pair of us were comfortably full for under a tenner each.
The maître d' was very efficient in seating us even during a busy period, and gave the whole experience a touch of class.
