We had an amazing Sunday lunch while away for the weekend. The beef was tasty along with the roast potato's and carrots. The Yorkshire pudding where handmade and huge and so tasty! The young dinner potions were enough for my grandparents. The staff were friendly and accommodating when we arrived before the time I had booked. Would defiantly recommend - 5* This is the Beef Sunday dinner. It was amazing! The gravy and vegetables came separately but I forgot to take a picture when I loaded my plate.

Staff were very friendly and managed to accommodate to our large table of 20 (we did book and order our food in advance). They even decorated the area with their own birthday decorations. The food came in good time and tasted great. There was no complaints, our order was perfectly prepared. We loved the variety on the menu. Overall the menu felt a little pricey but we would love to visit again.

Five of us had Sunday lunch amazing, really good home cooked food. Proper Yorkshire's, proper roasties and the vegetables cooked to perfection and for a change more than enough gravy for everyone unlike most places. The young couple serving and behind the bar are very friendly and professional, also many thanks to the chef who I believe is the landlord. What a find...

Usually very good food and rated 4.5 to 5 stars but not tonight. I had fish and chips and unfortunately I think my fish was forgotten about , it was very dark and difficult to cut. I have retuned recently and the food was very good, Even though there was a large group order, it all came out lovely and hot. Thank you.

The food was excellent. Chips deserve a special mention, possibly the best chips I've ever eaten. Friendly staff. Guinness was spot on. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was because the outside area was looking a bit dishevelled.

Nice little pub in a small village. We stopped here en route to a wedding. Food was lovely and very filling, decent prices too. Free pool table too. What can't go wrong with that.

As a family of 4 we ordered the bbq ribs, sausage and mash, rancho burger and kids meat balls, all were tender and tasty with 4 clean plates afterwards, for dessert the kids chose the Belgium waffles which were great. For the quality of the food and service I found it very reasonably priced, we even had a couple of games of pool (for free) before leaving. Keep up the good work 👏

Don’t be fooled! This place serves GREAT Food! Came from Tattershall Lakes as we wanted to eat offsite, as far as pub grub goes this is Top notch, great selection, Brilliant quality and well worth a 5 minute to visit if you’re staying at Tattershall lakes.

Whilst on a short break as a family this weekend, we had a meal here on the Saturday evening. It was amazing!! All of our meals were really fresh, hot and very tasty at a reasonable price. The pub was clean with a good choice of drinks. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped here for lunch. There were signs up saying 'under new management' and it did feel as if they haven't quite got the hang of things yet. Food options were basically roast dinner (it was a Sunday, which seems to make a lot of pubs believe that's compulsory). The meat was good and the potatoes okay but the rest of the veg was poorly cooked.

Loved this place for food before it changed hands and sadly it went down the pan a bit. Now it's changed hands again it's back to its old standard and the food is amazing. All made to order, lovely and fresh, and tasty! The new owners are lovely too, and the pub has that nice feel about it again. A welcome return to its gastro-pub days. Long may they continue!

The White Bull in Coningsby is a lovely little country pub close to Tattershall castle and Tattershall Lakes country park. Owner Marvin is attentive, cares about his customers and goes the extra mile to enhance customer experience. He offers a lot of flexibility on menu choices and customer care seems more important than making a quick buck. He’s a chef by trade and that shows. If you want home cooked food - then come here. None of the usual deep fried mass processed stuff, everything is prepared fresh, from whole breast chicken goujons to the onsite rolled pizza bases! We had a pizza to share, chicken wings to start (really good) and the kids chose from the kids menu which has unlimited cordial, main meal and desert for £6.95 each. Wifey had chocolate sponge with ice cream for desert which was nice and gave a balance of hot and cold desert. The place is small inside and the bar selection is commensurate. In addition to the Stella and Carling, Warsteiner is on offer which adds a nice touch to lager drinkers. John Smiths and Guiness finishes the compliment for bitter and stout lovers. The place is family friendly with small touches added. There are baby changing facilities in both the male and female toilets, along with chairs to stand on for the tots when washing their hands. The large beer garden has ample benches to drink and dine on along with several pieces of equipment for the children to climb and play on (swings, slides etc). The pub also benefits from a decent sized car park that could easily take 20+ cars. The pub has a free pool table which can provide hours of fun for the young ones and grown ups, its a nice freebie which helps keep the kids quiet. Adding to that is a selection of games such as battle ships, guess who, connect four etc. I’d say the bar offers reasonable value for money, and is similar to local pubs - the difference being the home cooked food which gives it that edge. We had one starter, one main, one desert, two kids meals, three pints of warsteiner and a Pepsi - bill was £45, so can’t complain. Inside the restaurant its clean and had wipeable leather seating and chairs. Pets are allowed, great for those walking dogs and looking at the place it didn’t see any wear and tear from allowing pets. If there is one thing that lets down the place it has to be the toilets. They are a little dated and could do with modernisation. Even if this is not possible (due to costs) then a good clean is in order to keep up with the rest of the place. Overall we had a good time there and would not hesitate to return.

Stopped over for one night after a great day around the village, very clean and tidy room, great shower, self contained continental breakfast all set in a stand alone cottage in the corner of the car park, the pub has a good variety of cask beers, had an evening meal and the food was excellent a nice bottle of wine and overall very reasonable on the wallet we will certainly visit again well done The White Bull
