Cheap beer and cheap top fries

I love this bar... Phil's Quiz is great... They make a banging hot chocolate... Damn fine selection of beers & cocktails... Food is delicious. Staff could not be friendlier

Nice atmosphere with comfy sofas. Beer is expensive but cocktails are very cheap! Service is very relaxed. Usually a very long waiting time for food. Last time I went, my friend had completely finished her full English breakfast before my order came out. However, food is always nice and staff are friendly.

It is a really good student bar. It is relatively cheap with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is also great, but can sometimes be hit or miss depending on how busy it is. I would recommend going to one of their quiz nights they have every Thursday during the semester, it's a good laugh. I would also recommend paying the extra 50p for curly fries, totally worth it.

Drinks are really nice and there are great offers. The food is also really nice, although they may benefit from using table numbers to ensure food is delivered to the right tables. The quiz is really fun and the bar staff are friendly and quick.

It's just so good. Great range of really good value cocktails. Obviously the £2 ones aren't strong but they still taste great. All the food I've had has been really good too, especially the curly fries and vegetable wrap. Having the Mario cart games set up is a great plus too. Only things I would say is that it's a shame that not all of the controllers work, and the toilets are a bit dingy and not usually very clean

Good bar, ideal for students being literally round the corner from a good few of the Universitys but don't let that put you off, we've been a good few times now and it's a relaxed, always friendly bar with the sports on, decent food and there's a good selection of beers and spirits

Great range of beers and cheap cocktails, typical pub grub menu but it is pulled off well and at a great price! the N64 in the corner is a fantastic addition and the pub quiz is well worth a try. A very friendly student atmosphere with great bar staff and service.

Really friendly bar with a mainly young crowd and fantastic offers at the bar. Although this is quite a trendy place they still manage to put on a fantastic quiz night although I do suspect it is 'post-ironic' as a hipster may be heard to say! They have old super Nintendo games free to play and the bar is spacious and suitable for groups. A small selection of cask conditioned ales which is a plus.

I practically live in here every time I visit Liverpool. Fantastic bar, great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Never disappoints. I always start here before going out on a big night. Just a shame they couldn't stay open for longer!

Colleagues and me come here almost every week for burger and beer, sometimes also for lunch. The food is mostly great, but sometimes you also just unlucky. Once the pita bread of my chicken kebab was soaked in sauce, a couple of times we had really dry burgers, some other time old fries, or they leave out the cole slaw without telling or apologising. I don't like the cole slaw anyway, it's soaked in mayo and lacks flavour. We really miss the old days when a little fresh side salad came with the burger!!! From the sauce tray, the mayo is always a very small bottle which is often almost empty. But the hot mustard sauce is amazing! The beer selection is small. Plus points are the football games they show and video games to play.
