Turned up to enjoy the festivities of the jubilee (friday) kids entertainer was great, shame the magician and face painting never happened but kids still had a good time. Food was great as usual even though it was busy food arrived before estimate etc. Bar staff were great, polite and very friendly. The Valentine has certainly come a long way over the years with high standards throughout. (Decided to edit and swap to 5 stars after being informed of how ann and her team tried to find a replacement, would be unfair to give only 4 stars based on someone outside of the pub letting them down) 👍

Came here for my daughter's 2nd birthday. We pre ordered Sunday lunch which was taken down wrong. We where compensated with a bottle of wine. Food was good but we weren't able to have a conversation as it was very loud. Would come back but not as a large party.

We found this great pub when coming over for the evening race meeting. Had a meal and drinks one day and breakfast the next. The food was great, the staff are lovely, prices are good and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Went to the new look Valentine and what a fantastic job they've done. We sat outside and had a drink in the sunshine and then had a bite to eat inside. It was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.. Well done and we will be back

Came for the reopening after we had such a good time at the Addison Arms. Staff were as lovely as always and the food was excellent. Great venue, will be coming back at the weekend for the cocktail menu. Highly recommend if you are local

My husband's first time here tonight at a large family meal so I asked him what he thought. "Yeah, my steak was cooked perfectly, everyone else seemed to like their food, it was really organised for a big party, the round was surprisingly cheap and they've got Moretti on tap!" We had a meal there today and I can honestly say it was lovely. There was a party of 8 of us all having some thing different and there were 8 clean plates all of us enjoyed the meal . Staff are lovely and helpful and they even bought our friend a birthday cake. The prices are very reasonable well worth the money. Well done to all. We'll be back next month thank you

Very safe. Full covid restrictions in place when I was there just before Christmas. Food was lovely with a fairly large choic of meals, and both food and drink served with a smile. A very nice experience.

First time in the Valentine , we decided to eat as reviews were good . My wife had scampi , chips , peas with onion rings and said it was lovely . I had gammon , pineapple , egg , chips and peas , there was no pineapple and the egg was burnt and hard , not so lovely . outside is very nice with tables and seating , inside lacks something , just feels like an empty old pub .

Fab night tonight. Bar staff here are amazing. They work so hard and are friendly and polite. The band tgey had on were, probably the best entertainment I have seen dir a long time. Kiss da beat, I'll be looking to see where they're on. Great night.
