Just arrived from Dublin needing to feed the family came across this lovely bar. Lovely atmosphere and really good pub food. We had large fish and chips was very tasty. Meat kebab little tough but very nice gravy was fabulous of this dish. Cheese and Ham toasty was like Christmas ham really 5* Chicken and bacon toasty was amazing also Highly recommend coming in and having food you won’t be disappointed. Christmas atmosphere was very cozy.

Employees are attentive and can pour a good beer as well as give recommendations for a nice G&T. Food is quick and tastes good. Great for a calm afternoon with a Sunday roast or nachos. Alternatively, good place to get the night started. If you sit by the bar at table 1, you can get bar service without having to get up.

Pub was nice but we came in for food as well as drinks. Some of us ordered on the app to then find out they had closed their kitchen. Tiny little sign on the bar barely noticeable and nothing to stop you ordering on the app. They could have told us when we ordered drinks, as they could clearly see we were looking at the food menu as well. Got it cheaper in the same chain of pubs 1 minute walk down the road.

Nice typical English pub. Fish & Chips really good. Had the chicken tikka as well. Brought our own chilli sauce from Malaysia as it goes well with the fries. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended if anyone is in the Bayswater area

Nice English pub that's right next to the underground. Interior decor is nice and the staff is friendly. They have a wide selection of classic English foods. The steak pie was delicious and filling. Local beer selection was good and I was recommended a nice one by the bartender. Prices are a little on the high side.

This is one of best pubs in the Bayswater region, located at the junction of Queensway and Moscow road. I had been there a few times. Have some good beers and ales. I liked the light bites as well. Nice ambiance with a old fashioned British interior. Loved it.

Was a Friday night so quire busy But on this occasion I wanted food, I was really disappointed to be honest Being Welsh I ordered lamb pie Well it must have been a £1 pie from the market heated up in a microwave, topped with cheep smash out of a packet with some mint In it Followed my microwave veg which was cremated How bloody awful and they have the cheek to charge £17 quid for this I would drink here but never order food again Over rated no quantity if food for the price Bar staff just agree and said it's London No it's a rip off

Very friendly and a lovely little place. The Lady there kept trying to get the outdoor heating on for us and was very apologetic when she couldn't get it to work. Drinks were nice and cant wait to try the food on my next visit. Such a wonderful atmosphere but I believe it needs more tables and chairs as when it is packed. It's so full and hard to walk around.

Lady at the bar with a nice personality which made us feel welcomed and valued customers. Highly recommended this place to anyone without hesitation. Our first time in a pub, so we had to figure out that you order at the bar, and we were all confused about whether to tip or not, but the staff were friendly, food came out quickly and was excellent. We came back another night but the kitchen had closed so we had to go elsewhere, but again the staff were friendly and apologetic about it, and we would go back again if we stay in this part of London again in the future.

Okay pub for once so close to Hyde park and on the main drag of Queensway. Could do with more than one cider on tap as it was off when we were drinking there so my mate had to make do with something else as he didn't want bottled magners (or was it bulmers?). Please note, this review is from in Australia. A opportunity to good to miss. We had to try at a traditional English pub. Should have bought the rump steak. I think it should be renamed gristle steak.

Average. Had only one register open and every table inside and out was taken. I waited close to 50minutes for the steak and ale pie and it was overcooked. The crust was too hard to cut and the filling was cooked to a sticky paste.

Standard Greene King pub. Nothing special. Popular with tourists. I believe it is quite expensive, although now probably standard for London, especially in this location. It was £9.05 for 1 pint and a bottle of non alcoholic beer.

Charming, cosy pub in a great location in Kensington that is let down by terrible, slow service through the week. It takes forever to get served because there’s always only one person behind the bar. I walked out having been in a long queue and found two equally nice pubs just round the corner where I got served within 20 seconds. Tip to management: hire faster bar staff and you’ll get away with one barman during the week.
