S. I.The sushi was incredible. The beef short rib was flavourful and cooked to perfection. The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice, a bit dark inside for photos but really good service. Not too expensive for what it is, perfect for date night

a. a.We had 11.30 pm table reservation, arrived early for a few quick drinks after adinner in different venue as it was my daughter's birthday . We asked if we could sit by the bar. Atmosphere and vibe great as always, place was full - I looks like good old days are back.
Service was great, Barmen were easy to chat with and sweet. Before we left , they got us birthday shots on the house and sang" happy birthday".
Overall great service! Always happy to go back there. One of my favourites ❤

I went there with my family their menu is for all types of people and their drinks menu is amazing and they do all classic cocktails the taste was perfect the food everyone must try truffle lobster 🦞 it's amazing 🤩 and the mango maki is very tasty 😋 and the chicken salad there no words to say about it ,beautiful restaurant and the bar is gorgeous 😍 the waiters are very friendly and the manager is very polite our waiter Dylan is Soo nice manager himself took our pictures one of the top places to visit with friends and family in London

The californian sushi rolls were great and the portion was enough for two. I loved the mango salsa on Salmon tiradito. The salsa was just so good.
Also ordered Chili salt crispy baby squid and it was just amazing!! I love mojitos and they had an amazing mango and passion fruit mojito. Had a nice peaceful lunch

The decor and design and atmosphere is lovely for family or friends. Lively music and bustling vibes.
7 of us went and the bill came to £550. The starter's wer really yummy and tasty but the mains were not great esp at that price range.
I ordered the aged beef and egg fry rice. The steak was cold and then was replaced but was cold and the sauce was hot. I was really disappointed. All the other dishes were hot. I like my food hot not like it was left out for 30 mins then served.
Other than that the decor is lovely and beautiful the stair case is amazing and alot of people taking pics.
Would recommend the bar more than the restaurant.
Staff were helpful and manager was nice enough too change my steak for a similar warm/cold steak but i didnt want to ask or make a fuss again.
@buddha-bar need to check what happened with the steak on this nighg.
E. C.Had an amazing amazing time, hosted a private dinner here the staff were 10/10 Moria (events coordinator ) literally walked me through the set menus and drink menus. Our bar man Bobby was so lovely and was fast with serving Mirela was also helping with serving both food and drinks overall as a team and individually they were amazing. Everyone was amazing down to the receptionist the food came out on time and was lovely.

C. C.I visited Buddha Bar last night for my boyfriend’s birthday and we both really enjoyed the night and loved the hospitality of Margarita !!! She was so lovely and patient with us and done an excellent job by surprising my boyfriend with a birthday desert ! I loved the food/drinks and the vibe was super cool. At the end we got seated at the bar and the bartender who recommended the Don Julio 1942 shots was amazing as well! I definitely recommend 10/10 and will come back again !!
A. A.We ordered their special chicken meal (chicken with weight rice) and Tampora shrimp and shrimp Sushi. The food is so delicious but very expensive. In addition, two different flavor of virgin Mojito‘s which were only average.
G.Very nice food set in Knightsbridge. Excellent service by staff. Not best pleased they have reduced their menu. Sushi and grilled rack of lamb was really lovely. Nice selection of mocktails my favourite is karma. Staff kindly provided a birthday dessert with candle for the missus at the end of the meal which was a nice touch and appreciated. Thank you.

F. E.Tried Buddha bar for the first time a couple of weeks ago as all the food on the menu was halal. We tried the sushi along with Prawn Pad Thai and the Scottish Beef Fillet. Really good food, especially the sushi. The mocktails were great and the service was on point. Buddha bar has good food, good service and a great ambience. Definitely one to visit again.
S. B.Buddha bar was the perfect spot for my clients daughter’s 18th birthday party. Moira was an incredible events manager and I knew I was in safe hands from the start. She went above and beyond and even on her day off was happy to take a call to run through plans. Sarah was also a joy to work with on the night and was so attentive to all the guests. Nothing was too much trouble and both girls helped to make the celebrations a huge success. If I was running a restaurant I would definitely want those two girls working under my roof!

h. e.I recently had my engagement party at the Buddha Bar private dining room. We were approx. 70-80 people with drinks reception and finger food/canapes. Moira, who i believe deals with events at Buddha Bar was absolutely fantastic. She took out the time to really go into every single detail, helped finalise the menu and accommodate all of our guests. The venue/restaurant itself were extremely polite and helped pull off my engagement party. They were extremely flexible with arrangements and worked around our budget/ necessities. I would highly recommend this venue if you wish to have an engagement party (after party) that has a club feel to it, then this is the place to be.
Everyone loved the food including myself. It was super tasty!!!!!

S. V.The aesthetics of the bar/restaurant is lovely, the décor is very pretty and would definitely recommend for a nice date, celebration or event. The food is okay with lots of different meat/ red meat/ seafood options, not as many vegetarian options but from what they did have it was decent. The portion sizes were a little on the smaller side, but have a hefty price tag associated with each dish - but I guess that's standard given the location of the bar/restaurant.
The only downfall for this place was the rushing of the service, we had a menu taken out of our hand as we were actively looking through it, which felt a bit rude, and just felt pressured to 'hurry up and leave' - which put a downer on the overall experience. But besides that, it's definitely a place you should check out atleast once.
D.Overall not impressed. Went on a busy Thursday night and was greeted by a very rude doorman/ security guard.
All other staff were professional and polite on the other hand, however the first impressions were subpar.
Food and drinks were good - beef short rib was very tender and sushi wasn’t bad (nothing groundbreaking). Duck spring rolls were a favourite!
Atmosphere was poor on the main floor. Seating was arranged in such a way that it was impossible not to overhear the details of other’s conversations so not the place for an intimate meeting. Difficult to engage in conversation due to the noise. Should’ve just gone to Hakkasan tbh.

R.Went on v day, we had to book a couple of days in advance. I absolutely loved it. Everything about it was great. The food (from starters to mains to sushi rolls), the atmosphere and the staff were just brilliant. I would definitely recommend it, I honestly don’t think you could go wrong with anything you’ve ordered. However, I wasn’t a fan of the cake but maybe because I’m not really a dessert person.
m. p.We had my daughter’s 18th birthday party in the private room at Buddha bar. It was a great success and everything was perfect, the room, the food, the drinks and the service. In particular - Moira who managed our event was amazing - she was very responsive and extremely helpful in planning the event (in fact, her responsiveness and helpfulness was a key reason we selected Buddha bar rather than other venues we were considering) and on the night she was there in person to make sure that everything went smoothly, everyone were happy and she went beyond the call of duty in addressing any questions / issues. All my friends commented on how amazing Moira was! She made the night a success - could not have done it without her.
A. M.Came here for the Sake and Sushi Making master class. Welcomed with a glass of champagne followed by a 2 hour masterclass which finished with some of the restaurants most popular dishes being tried.
Had a great time, was a good balance between enjoying some ‘well made’ sushi and also making our own.

J.I liked it, we did wait a little while for our foods, the mocktails were OK. I had the veg spring rolls and veg pad Thai all delicious, my froend had the miso soup and green thai curry, the curry had little flavour tbh. Food was OK but have had better at places like banana tree and even local take outs. It's a nice experience and meat dishes may be their speciality, so do try it - the table next to us ordered sushi - it looked amazing! Not sure of the taste, I wouldn't return unfortunately but that's because I think the food did not live upto its price.

S. F.Enjoyed my first visit here although the waitress was new and fluffed the order up three times. I was also amazed at the number of young people here (teens-very early 20s) who seemed to be ordering not very much but spending most of their time at the table taking pictures and hurriedly posting them to social media platforms. The food was good, however it wasn’t quite as high-end as some reviews have made out. I had a mix of sashimi, sushi, starters and meat, there is better food at the same price point (Sexy Fish IMO make tastier food).

J. T.At first I was very sceptical of this place. It was a recommended place and decide to try it. Okay arrived early but they were super happy for us to enter and start out dinning experience. The interior is superb and rather relaxing too. The staff was super helpful and accommodating to our needs such as baby requirements. Now the food is rather price as you would expect being in Knightsbridge but you won’t be let down at all. We went all out with seafood (well that’s what you kinda do if you’re going to a fancy Japanese restaurant) and it never tastes so good, fresh and you just want more and more. However, as this was more a testing journey, we didn’t want to ruin our experience and wallet too. For the alcohol lovers 🍷, there are many options and the cocktails were really good too! Overall, would really recommend this place for special gatherings or if you just want some really good Japanese food.
P. D.At my opinion I expected much more regarding the Global Brand and the well known prestigious place. Regarding Monte Carlo it's much better rather than one. Sorry guys but it needs a lot of improvements from the taste of food, quality, service, ambience etc....and at the end you pay so much....I hope at my next visit to find it more enthusiastic for my taste & my gouts!
F. A.Highly recommended. Very great service and delicious food. We started with crab salad. For sushi we tried volcano and spider. They were all very delicious and tasty. For main course the king prawn and wagyu were perfect. Very nice decor and live DJ.

Y. E.So I had the best tasting calamari // fried squid here. It was to die for and the level of spice was to my likings. Cocktails are nice. The service ran on time, however was a bit confusing trying to work out who to pay/tip and who to get our coats from.

We attended for a sushi and sake masterclass which was amazing; lots to eat and drink, as well as make. The chefs doing the msteeckass have a real passion for sushi/sake and are a wealth if knowledge and skill. Well worth the money.

G. A.Some highs and lows. We had been gifted an afternoon tea for Christmas and were in high spirits.
Made to feel very welcome when we first arrived, very professional and friendly reception staff. The service was hit and miss, it could be hard to get any body's attention and waited an age for a glass of water, having to ask multiple times. At the same time, a highlight for me was the attentive service when Yfra was on shift, she was great and we appreciated the extra touches, like explaining and showing us what vegetarian caviar is.
The food was tasty, but we told them when we booked, at reception and at the table that we are both vegetarian and that gluten makes me swell up (not bloated, my hands, face etc swell from an allergic reaction). They first brought out only one vegetarian meal and neither were gluten free, so we had to wait while they started over. What they did give us in the end was tasty. Then, afterwards when I noticed my hands swelling and was racking my brain to think why, my husband said, is soy sauce OK, there was lots of that... Ah... So if you need gluten free - made sure it is gluten and ask for no soy sauce.
I donated my desserts to my husband (spoonies have to be careful what we eat and sugar is another for me to avoid), he enjoyed them.
The cocktails were yummy! I had to take out the giant ice cube, while beautiful it does water down the drink. Ordered without ice I thought the Blue Knightsbridge was fantastic (easier to sip without ice too, need a sip straw to get around the ice).
Overall we had a lot of fun and enjoyed our afternoon tea.
T. G.Expensive place and food not very tasty... Was nice for ones but I don't think they gonna see me there again. Tartar was very plain I had to add soya sauce by myself, not spices not nothing. Scallop nigiri was very nice! Meat 7/10 and sweet potatoes are super nice. Gyozas of duck and foie doesn't taste like duck or foie so avoid please. Also £11 for 125ml of wine...? Place have a nice decoration but very high techno music, not my cup of tea. If you don't mind the money, go ahead!

E.Its over-rated in my humble opinion... Lots of over dressed chicks hanging out. The drinks are not that impressive nor the food. Particularly not with that price tag. The ￡20＋ ceviche is not properly seasoned. The rolls are disappointing.
A.Been coming to Buddha Bar for the last 3 years . Good food and good service. Thursday nights are good if you like Arabic music. The girls at the door can be snobby with an attitude that’s why i am not giving 5 starts !

I. T.Great place for an evening out, however it is really overpriced for the quality of the food, but it is normal, as it is the most affluent part of town. The very loud music, makes it difficult to communicate with your partner or partners. I had a great time there, but mainly because I had a great company.
The cocktails are great quality and the menue could cater to many different tastes.

Unfortunately, I didn’t and I went with what the chef advised and said was the most popular. For me it wasn’t, the food didn’t taste nice at all, so it ruined my whole Buddha bar experience:(

I ordered the california sushi rolls which were rather plain, they could have done with some nice sauce other than soy, and then I had the steak, i have never tasted anything so bland, there was no flavour to the steak at all.. the prawns were nice though.... it was good to experience and the staff were friendly but overall I think its over priced and the food is fairly average, i doubt I would return

Only issue I had was that the service was extremely slow (waited over 45 minutes for our food). Also when we went we specifically ordered 2 wagyu steaks and only got one then were told it ran out without an apology.

C. A.Redeeming a Virgin Experiences voucher with Buddha Bar was quick and easy. The restaurant was also very kind about rescheduling, which we had to do- twice!
I love the décor, the eye is constantly drawn to interesting details inside. A glass of champagne was poured at the bar before we finally headed downstairs as a group. We were greeted with a quick lunch service of expertly prepared sushi, which we were invited to enjoy during the very entertaining sake part of the class. Our sake sommelier was passionate and informed but also funny, putting everyone at ease no matter their skill level. We came straight home and purchased a premium sake that we had sampled, it really was that good.
Our sushi head chef was more quiet but assured and highly skilled. He was patient even when bombarded with questions and gave every person in our large class both his full attention and helpful feedback. He also made us yet more delicious, but far more intricate sushi. I can't recommend this highly enough, it really was an excellent day out and fantastically located for all the best shops too.

t.We are frequent Buddha Bar visitors around the world. It was sad for us to realise that the Buddha Bar London became something we would not visit again. Don’t get me wrong it is still a regular Buddha Bar but personally for me it was always that kind of bar where you really feel that Chic atmosphere with exclusive cocktails and perfect service. (Like it is now in Buddha Bar Monte-Carlo). We used to really love the one in London but we have not been there for three years and this time when we arrived we were slightly disappointed by the service (the hostesses should be more welcoming and keeping the rules of the fact that client is always the priority and there are no different between clients and friends clients)+ food (it just used to be good before, now it is not the best one, we did not even wanted to finish our miso soup) + dress code (allowing people to come in sportswear and caps on, this should not be possible I think).

Although I was somewhat disappointed with the service, our food arrived at separate times after a long wait time which ended up me eating my food cold! Me and my guest didn’t feel important to the servers, however our mood changed in the last instance as we went to collect our coats - The receptionist Safia was very attentive, made us feel cared for and by far the friendliest person in the place! We are glad we left on a good note!

l. m.Saturday we hosted a large private room dinning experience and I have to say we really went all out.
The communication between Andrea jake and myself at the beginning of planning this was second to none. We were able to come into the restaurant and tell them exactly what we wanted on a menu, we were able to make our own set menu for our guests. Thereafter our meeting Andrea, continued to ensure that everything was well and worked hard to ensure all our standards were met. On the day, we had a situation with arranging of decorations, which meant we were not able to get into the venue as early as we had hoped, but nonetheless Angela and her team were all hands on deck and helped us as soon as we arrived.
The food was excellent and the service could not be faulted - these guys really deserved the service charge! They worked so hard making sure everyone was happy and I have to say they over exceeded our expectations on the night. People are still talking about this party 3 days later!
Thanks to Andrea and all the team that helped pull this off! we will back!

So basically I would give the food & service 3 stars. But the environment gets 5, so average of 4.

Also the members of staff was offering to replace our wine of choice with a vintage bottle (£280) and when asked how the wine is on the palette the response was "it's very nice".

C. 1.Had a great evening but went downhill after about 10.30pm as the clientele completely changed - and not in a good way! Before that, our service at the bar was perfect, we really enjoyed our cocktails and food. Then after around 10.30pm we were surrounded by individuals leaning over us whilst we were eating, leaning on us and our chairs to get to the bar. Just generally intimidating us to free up our seats. A fight kicked off and we decided it was time to leave. A shame really as we are a MASSIVE fan of the Buddha Bar brand but they really need to be a little more picky as to who they let into the restaurant. Not a good or desirable crowd....I don’t think we will return.

I actually had been at their inaugural opening back in 2000 in Paris.

O. H.First time visit here last night and it was amazing! Our waiter David was super attentive and really courteous. We ordered some Sashimi to start and the Prawn Tempura - both absolutely perfect! Would highly recommend. Then mains we tried the Pad Thai, Green Curry and Grilled Rack of Lamb Ribs - flavours across the dishes were awesome! Oh and the Karma Mocktail was one of the best I've ever had! Overall a lovely experience and can't wait to go back.
