J. H.Are you still open for business? I came by on 3 weeks ago (Fri) at 12.30 & you looked very closed. And I've phone but never get a reply. It's always been one of my favourite Islington pubs by far. What's happened?
R. P.Nice, authentic boozery, seemed pretty quiet and relaxed on Saturday lunch. Very friendly service.
The burger, unfortunately, was overcooked and somewhat flavourless, chips were great, though.
German Helles beer on tap was a great option.

V. L.One of our local. Very simple food, done simply and to expectation and really low prices. Good range of beers and cider. Very clever list of wine. a really cute pub, with locals.....and a real charm of french touch everywhere from the painting and decor. we like it.

T. K.Lovely local pub, just far enough off the beaten track to avoid the masses of Angel. Very good selection of beers and a very relaxing atmosphere. Cosy in winter and in summer lovely to sit outside of.
Haven’t eaten food here recently but in the past definitely above standard pub grade.
