Just a five minute walk from Tower Bridge is this gem of a restaurant. Nothing too special inside but the food is exceptional. Fresh ingredients, great portion sizes and so, so, tasty. Whether or not you've had Filipino food before you will still be taken aback by the quality of the food. We were more than satisfied when we left and the owners (husband and wife) were welcoming and friendly. It's in a very unassuming area but don't let that put you off as this is one of the best Filipino restaurants we've been too!

We had beef sisig and adobo with rice. First time with Philippino food and so so good. The sisig was nicely spicy and saucy. The chicken adobo nicely marinated and with beautifully cooked potatoes.

I’m so happy I discovered this hidden gem along Tower Hill. Everything was amazing. The food, the ambience and the service. I’m Filipino and the dishes I had with my husband tasted like home. I especially loved the chicken sisig and lechon paksiw. So tasty and flavourful! I’ll definitely come back and bring more friends with me so that I can introduce them to Filipino cuisine. Salamat po! I had pancit bihon and lumpia for lunch. The lumpia was very tasty and I liked the fact that they added a bit of salad on the side. However, the pancit bihon was a disappointment as it's not very authentic, in my opinion. I would try other dishes next time. Overall, they deliver fast but not cheap. If they could add knives for the utensils that'd be great as the vegetables and meat are quite chunky.

I’m so glad I came here for my birthday - the staff were friendly, food was delicious and atmosphere was relaxing. My wife and I popped in here to sample a few of the starters and were blown away with the quality of the food. Calamari, mussels and a bbq chicken were all incredible. Couldn’t resist going back the following night for another helping. Lovely staff and delicious food - perfect!

Visited with the family as Cirilo Restaurant had been suggested by both a colleague and a friend that come from the Philippines. We are Spanish and were curious to taste familiar names like adobo! It's very different from our Spanish food and it was full of flavour and really lovely. We had pork sigsig, adobo, Pak choi, crab rolls, calamari and egg fried rice. The dessert, 'turron' was great, the cook added some chocolate cake as my daughter was craving for some. ^.^ Service was wonderful, the owner was attentive and very sweet. We will definitely come back and suggest this hidden gem to our friends. Salamat!

Had a rice chicken noodle dish to takeaway. Friendly Asian lady. Small restaurant. Clean. Way too many vegetables, not enough noodles. I had no idea rice noodles are ultra thin noodles. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew. They need to explain on the menu that it's crazy thin. Like 1mm in diameter. There was barely any chicken, and it tasted like reconstituted or very cheap chicken. Cost £9.50. Not worth it. I was told it's a big portion. It's really not. The large peppers and other veggies make up the bulk sadly. Taste was OK. Not tasty, not disgusting. Fusion kitchen, which is kind of far from here, makes much tastier food, though I suspect the food here at Cirilo is healthier. Overall I don't think it's good value for money due to what makes up the bulk of the food, hardly any meat and low quality meat (it seems) and it's not THAT tasty. But on the positive side, as I said, I suspect it's healthier than most places. I wanna give it a 2.5 but I can't on Google reviews. So a 3 it is.

The food was very tasty, well made and fresh. Service was friendly and helpful and the restaurant had pleasant atmosphere. However, the side of broccoli was quite oily even if I asked my dishes without oil. And I was hoping to have ut all more spicy as I asked them to do. It was tasty and well seasoned but relatively mild. But I highly recommend, this is very high quality place with very very good food and service!

Very good service - the staff always there to help you and recommend food combinations. The food was great - we had sisig. Tofu version was innovative but improvements could be made ( the outside could be fried crisp). The dessert was great- make sure to ask them separately about it as they change it every day!

One of the orders was wrong and I politely raised it without intending to change it as it looked tasty as well. Honest review, when I first got inside Cirilo, I was not impress at all with the decor and the color of the wall. It was dark and gloomy for my liking. The restaurant needs more vibrant color in my opinion. But we came there to fill our belly with delicious authentic Filipino food. And they nailed it. The food was very delicious. We ordered pork sisig and lechon kawali both are very delicious, feels like heaven goodness melting inside your mouth. Overall the food highly recommended. Staff are super nice too.

This is an authentic Filipino restaurant in central London. I was confused at first when I saw the menu, as I assumed it was Chinese. As the name would suggest, most dishes are noodle 🍜 based... with the exception of the specials section. If you’re in to Filipino food, you will love this place. The service is amazing. The beef quality was not the best.

Always happy to come back every now and then. Lovely filipino food! I’m always taking my partner to this filipino restaurant and he really like KARE-KARE. Good table service, the food is absolutely delicious, the decoration for each plate is stunning. As a filipina living in London without my parents I always miss filipino food even though I can cook at home, but sometimes when you fancy to go out and have a nice filipino meal in “East London” Cirilo is great! And there is not many filipino restaurant in “east” as mainly are in west London which is a bit far from where I live. We ordered kare-kare, beef sisig and kaldereta. Delicious!!! As we ordered a lot we had to take home whats left! We always happy with everything and we always coming back! Very pleased customers

Absolutely a hidden gem gorgeous food served piping hot & such good value for money. We had the vegetarian spring rolls & prawn crackers for starters & then we both had the mechado which had such a fresh taste & the beef melted when eaten, we ordered sticky rice to go with it. Puddings are different every day & my colleague had a banana spring roll served on what looked like a chocolate brownie & vanilla ice-cream which was apparently gorgeous. Going back tomorrow while we are here for a conference as the sizzlers which came out looked equally delicious

I had a glass of wine, spring rolls, and asked the hostess to recommend a filipino dish, which she did. It was incredibly good. I would recommend this for a date or if you are alone. Never had a Filipino dishes but my girlfriend took me there for dinner. As I do not know anything my girlfriend order two dishes: beef Kare- kare and pork sisig with one large plain rice and a small egg fried rice. The portion of each dishes were very good as for one dish can be shared by two. The dishes itself had a very nice presentation as well as the flavour was very nice and tasty. For my experience, I would great the chef as being a chef from an Italian restaurant I could tell that he done a with the patience to had to say that the chef is the owner of the restaurant himself. The dessert was absolutely beautiful, the decoration was pretty. We ordered Leche flan and my girlfriend did not expect it the way it was because it was different but we loved it after tasting it with a tropical marmalade as a base of the main dessert.

This place is amazing. We are a party of six and we ordered the classic Filipino dishes like Chicken and Pork Sisig, Beef Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Beef Caldereta, Sinigang na Hipon, Pansit Bihon and some desserts like Cassava Cake and Leche Flan. All of these are so good and delicious (except the Pansit Bihon - needs a bit of improvement but that’s ok). Our group really enjoyed the dinner! The only thing that I would recommend for improvement is the ventilation. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended. Keep it up Cirilo!

The staff kept whispering loudly and pointing at customers which I found super distracting/rude. It sounds silly but it really ruined the relaxing dinner atmosphere I was looking for. The space is very small so it's not like they were even trying to be discreet. Food and price were good though. One weird menu thing was that they serve chicken curry but you have to buy rice separately for extra? Very strange.

Boo... I really wanted to be impressed with my meal, but it missed the mark. I typically enjoy this type of fare, but this visit lacked. I ordered their spring rolls - chicken and pork. They were nothing special and the cold sauce it came with was dank and gelatinous. The main dish of udon noodles came with button and shiitake mushrooms cooked in Malayan curry, soy, sesame oil and garnished with sesame seeds and coriander.
