K. U.Really great venue with cool decor and atmosphere. Was expecting more of a relaxed, "gentleman's club" jazz vibe on a Sunday night but was surprised to have loud old school hip-hop music blarring away with full on grinding guests enjoying themselves. Wasn't bad, just surprising, especially for a small intimate venue. Loved the selection of drinks and the bar staff were fun. Worth checking out for after dinner drinks.
N. V.Had a reservation for the basement bar to have drinks with a friend. When we arrived they clearly had over reserved the space and had us seated on rickety seats on the bar where quite literally every single server and patron had to bump into us to move anywhere. One of the staff offered to take us upstairs instead. We were there during happy hour where the drinks were 2-4-1 and were pretty decent. Unfortunately, they randomly gave us the bill and said we had to leave, then the man at the door came up to us and said he would “do us a favour” and let us stay if we paid £10. When we said no, he said, “okay….bye then”. Very inappropriate.

The staff are superb - friendly, happy, attentive and know how to mix a meal brew. Each cocktail is served with its own little style and all the ones we had tasted great.

N.Great atmosphere and cool decor. A relatively quiet bar which is rare for the area of London that it is in. The cocktails are a little pricey so we only go on the 2for1 Mondays. Definitely worth a visit.
My favourite of all the cocktail clubs.
T. R.Down an unassuming set of stairs you will find an absolutely amazing cocktail bar. Dark and intimate inside it is the perfect place to try some delicious cocktails. To enter you must be a member but that can be achieved by going to their website and signing up. The fee is an extraordinary... £1.
The cocktails here are imaginative, strong and delicious. What really sets this bar apart however is the staff - the bar tenders are friendly and really know their stuff. Want something off the menu? More than likely they will know how to make it and if they don't they'll have a good crack at it anyway.
The atmosphere in here is fun and cool without being too serious. The music is pretty good and with a happy hour all night on a Monday it's a great place to get rid of the Monday blues.

There is a huge cocktail menu with lots of fun drinks. I had Butter-beer which was just as I imagined from Harry Potter! A couple of the fruitier cocktails we tried didn't taste alcoholic at all, but this wasn't an issue as they were yummy!
Definitely recommend this bar for tasty, interesting cocktails, without the long wait to be served at the bar =]

C. M.Don't try to get in without a membership- they're really hot on it, and with good reason given the location! This is my most favourite cocktail bar in the entirety of central london. It's got a great speakeasy vibe, the staff are great fun, the drinks taste like heaven and are strong as anything I've had anywhere! Love love love this place. The music usually results in dancing on the tables too. What's not to like!

A. D. B.Technically a member’s club but you only need to send an email to become an official member. They do amazing cocktails and happy hour every weekday til 7. Go for the porn star martini as it’s delicious – although so is pretty much everything else. It gets a lot busier than it used to be so prob best to reserve a table. It's a bit small and dimly lit but quite a nice overall experience!

Happy hours (2 for £12) are frequent, cocktail of the month is also on offer, and the huge variety of cocktails will keep you going for ages!
Well worth coming here for any event, if you're looking to come at a busy hour, just book a table
Only slight negatives is that the music is quite loud, and to talk to more than one person can be a bit of a hassle which is odd, given the venue is on the smaller side!

A. H.Down a dark stair case through a dodgy looking door is one of the best nights out I've had in ages. I'm talking shots, dancing on the tables, good old fashion sing song fun. You need a membership to get in which will cost you a pound but well worth it. The staff are friendly and engaging and the cocktails are not a shocking price (for London). The porn star Martini's are a favourite!

M. G.nice but somewhat juicy cocktails. When we came we were asked for our member cards. We explained that we don't have any since we're not members of the "club". We we're allowed to stay since the place wasn't that busy at the time.
The cocktails were good, but weak. The happy hour allowed us to order doubles and that helped.
We also wanted to try a White Russian. Because it wasn't on the menu, we got to pay £1 extra for the cocktails — a shame when a White Russian is one of the easiest drinks to mix. It wasn't even very good: other classy bars normally whip the cream lightly and float it on the vodka and Kahlua. Here they mixed everything and I think they used milk instead if cream.

Cocktails look and taste great and the prices are average, but the think which made that place so great for me was atmosphere, bar tenders are really friendly and always smiled, having fun while working that you can really enjoy sitting by the bar.

H.The Covent Garden Social Club is an absolute pleasure to visit - downstairs is cosy and friendly with upbeat music and a lively atmosphere, while by contrast the newly opened upstairs bar is dramatic, a little lux and spacious. The common factor is wonderful original drinks - and bartenders who clearly love what they do!
A. M.CGCC is technically a members only bar but membership is free and you can usually get in without being a member or having a reservation if you get there early enough. There is a daily happy hour(s) from 5-7pm so by 6pm the place is usually pretty busy. The happy hour deal is 2-4-1 so whatever cocktail you order the bartender will just double.
So the key bits - great date place early, great party place later. Get in on the happy hour before a night out and make reservations if you want to close the deal at the end of the night. At £8-10 per cocktail on regular prices, it isn't cheap, but they aren't stingy on the booze so the value is there to be had!
H. J. S.The Covent Garden Cocktail Club is an excellent place for a date or to start a night with a few friends. It's dimly lit but packed with interesting decorative touches. The cocktails are excellent, strong and interesting - try something new and you won't be disappointed.
Cocktails are 2 for 1 during Happy Hour (5pm-7pm) so it gets busy early, particularly at weekends. The bar staff are excellent, work hard and run a brilliant playlist (mix of indie, rock and motown classics).
This place is Members Only but membership is free (£1 for your card). You have to apply at least 24 hours before your visit however so it's difficult to just turn up.

D. R.I am a little conflicted about this place. I had a love and hate night with this place. We went on a Friday night to celebrate a birthday and had a little area reserved. At first when we got there I did not think much of it. The decor is chic shabby but a little while later you wont really care much about it.
The good bits. The DJ was great and he rocked the place totally playing a mix of new and old songs with his own twist. The music and the atmosphere created is really good and we enjoyed the energy. The cocktails were generally quite good, decently priced between 8 and 10 pounds and the bartenders try and put in a good show.
The not so good. The place is a little cramped and getting drinks is a challenge and you could have a very long wait. At one point, I had to wait for 55 mins at the bar to get my drinks and this place was not even full!! If you are with a group of people that is way too long.
The terrible. We were at the place until the end and on the Friday they were closing the bar at midnight. Around midnight, a few people from our group tried to buy drinks on two different occasion and were told by one of the bartender that the bar is closed. Soon after, he served two different set of customers!! It was extremely disappointing to see and left us with a pretty bad taste at the end of the night.
All in all, not sure if I would go back even though I would have liked to.

I had Cressie making me a few cocktails and chatting to me, she was so much fun and really made my boyfriend and I feel welcome and a part of the LCC family! The cocktails were just incredible, I had the Stone Fruit Sour and the Black Forest Souffle, would recommend both!

D. N.Nice little underground hideaway serving some great cocktails. When I visited the service was pretty slow, which seems far too common a problem in cocktail bars. The music, while good, was far too loud, not just so that it was difficult to hear each other talk, but that it would be difficult to hear once you've left. The staff are likely to end up with permanent hearing damage if they're exposed to that volume on a daily basis.

Atmosphere is bustling and the decor feels like you are someones - maybe slightly out of date - living room. There is only a couple of seats so make sure you are prepared to stand (or dance for that matter) with your cocktail.

K. P. (.Trendy, cool and tiny. This place has everything you need for a London cocktail hotspot. Add in creative drinks (think bacon or frosting as garnishes) and bar staff that never lose their cool, and I’m sold. Cocktails are between £7-£10, and they do have beers but I didn’t order one of those. ;) When I came by for afterwork Friday drinks we were lucky enough to perch two seats at the bar around 7.30pm, and by 8pm the place was packed solid so leaving our seats for the loo would have meant surrendering them. If you do come here, be sure to read the full descriptions of the drinks (they are quite funny!) and have a good look around the bar at the eccentric things they’ve decorated the place with. Oh, and heads up: when you do use the loo, you might want to ask where it is because they aren’t clearly labeled till you’re inside...

L.Live this place - great cocktails, friendly staff. Sometimes you get kicked out if there's a show in the arts theatre so be aware of that. Or just stay until happy hour ends.
N. W.This members only (Membership costs 2 pounds, and anyone can apply online) offers a wide range of cocktails and some highly skilled mixologists to make them, in a cozy, underground environment. In the unlikely event that you can't find anything you like in menu, you can simply tell one of the bartenders what you are into and they'll whip up a wonderful cocktail for you.
H. S.Busy - but well worth the wait. Recommend booking an area or put your name on the guest list to avoid disappointment. Great choice and staff know what they are talking about. They will even make you something to your taste if you feel indecisive or overwhelmed by the extensive menu. They do an incredible zombie but be warmed 1 is also more than enough!

A members bar (but only because of annoying licensing purposes) where signing up online for the very small ask of £1 or so a new escape will make itself known. Heading down the metal staircase and through the curtains you’ll be invited into a living room that’s about to have a house party. From the dark red leather sofas and sturdy tables perfect for dancing on, to the energetic noise level and strong cocktails to give you some Dutch courage – big love to the Brixton Riot’s (£8ish). A. S.(Translated) I found the place by chance after leaving another place that was also very good and fun (the other place is Blame Gloria). Being a club, admission depends on the members not having previously reserved it. It's a GREAT site! good bartenders, good cocktails, good atmosphere, good decoration and most importantly VERY GOOD MUSIC. The waiters sang some songs, livening up the night and welcomed us with a shot and a glass of water. Next time I'm in Covent Garden at night I'm SURE I'll drop by to try and get back in

Encontré el sitio por casualidad tras salir de otro también muy bueno y divertido (el otro sitio es el Blame Gloria). Al ser un club la admisión depende de que los socios no lo hayan reservado con anterioridad. Es un sitio GENIAL! buenos camareros, buenos cócteles, buen ambiente, buena decoración y, lo más importante MUY BUENA MÚSICA. Los camareros cantaban algunos temas, amenizando la noche y nos recibieron con un chupito y un vaso de agua. La próxima vez que vaya a Covent Garden por la noche SEGURO que me paso para intentar volver a entrar
