Denmark Arms has had an effective makeover and we go to the quiz there every Thursday evening from 7pm. Staff are friendly and they serve craft beers. I would like a real ale option but the beers are good.

With recent revamp & new management, this pub is easily one of my favourites in East Ham! Great vibe, cosy & full of charming character. Spacious & airy. Excellent selection of drinks & amazing food... loved their vegan burger! I am already looking forward to coming back here soon.

Awesome place, good music and blue moon on tap! Defo worth a visit if you're local - go show it some love!!!
D. G.
Really enjoyed the pub by far the best place in East Ham. Great selection of beer and good food. Sausage rolls were also amazing!

Lovely and Christmassy right now. Perfect place to grab a quiet drink on your way home. Big pub but feels very cosy.

Quiet pub- literally eye balled soon as your though the door for lack of punters!
Nice enough for a quiet drink. Friendly staff. Not sure if it will last long if it does reopen- paying just under 6 pound for a pint of Camden is a Price most definately not reflective of the area

Great time listening to DJ Ray laying down some old skool ska, reggae and R&B... on vinyl.!

Nice pub in East London, good selection of beers and friendly staff.

Great Local place packed with Character and Charm and a very warm welcome from Micheal.

Lovely staff and service but needs a few more people to give it atmosphere

Awesome Sunday roasts, great vibe and friendly staff. Family friendly and a great new addition.

A quintessential east London pub with a charming interior. It's had a few different looks over the years but it's a vibrant place with character and worth a visit if you are visiting the area, a local or after a busy day at the local town hall or college.

Pub has been taken over by new owners. It has been somewhat gentrified with a trendy feel. They have stripped it back to original fittings and it looks great for it. Good selection of craft ales and a real nice atmosphere. We took our baby in there while we had Sunday lunch and the staff were very accommodating, there were a few families in there. The food was very good, we will definitely be back.

Recently renovated with new ownership. Sunday dinners are fantastic and reasonably priced with a decent selection of drinks available. Family friendly and allow dogs (we brought our greyhound!).
Staff are very attentive and polite. Very good pub, we will be back!

Beautiful decor, charming staff. This place is HUGE and deserves to be packed out every day. It will get there I'm sure. I'm looking forward to trying their food which looks to be decent gastropub fare, judging by the menu.

Similar layout to the old gaff but the pool tables have been replaced by seating. The lighting is dark. Decent menu for food and drinks but the opening times have been reduced. Toilets are the same, tiny and not really great. Staff seem polite and helpful but the lighting and atmosphere, this isnt really what comes to mind when I think pub.

Incredible food. The Sunday roasts are huge and delicious! And the sticky toffee pudding is AMAZING. The refurb of his old pub is great. lovely staff, family friendly. Love it.

Went down to have Sunday roast, had a couple of wines then went to order dinner and was told the kitchen was shut (this was 18.20) advertised kitchen shut 19.00, was told as it was quite so they shut the kitchen!! Shame as the wine was lovely and dissapointed at not being able to eat there. But will try again.

Recently refurbished, best pub in the area by miles. Great food, wide range of beer and most importantly music at an acceptable volume so you can still have a chat! Highly recommended

Amazing pub. The building is awesome. Upstairs is even more so. Good food, good beer, great bar staff. Very very large so it never seems full, but at the same time very cosy. I hope this is listed building!

Fantastic update on the rather tired, grotty pub that it was before. Ironically, they spent many weeks making it look distressed! Good result. Too trendy for East Ham, obviously gambling on the area gentrifiyig like the area around their other pub in Forest Gate. Decent food and selection of beers.
R. P.
This is a great pub. Very tastefully decorated, good music, nice atmosphere, very good selection of ales and a tasty-looking menu (vegetarian-friendly). The staff are friendly. Hopefully the pub gets busier in the future!

Although me and my crew were the only true Danes they had in Forever.
It was great! Everybody was having a heart time
(Although the restroom could use some cleaning to do) I'd give it a 4 out of 5!
Stars

Fantastic pub quiz on a Thursday

Enjoyed the opening night. Haven't been back yet but they have a wide range of good beers, a gem for the area. Looks like the DJ set nights will be decent.

Nice friendly pub.

Beautiful setting for my Yoga class. Ceilings are high gives you a really nice sense of space and openess. Really nice vice in the bar. They were playing some easy listening jazz.
S. P.
historical pub, recently reopened.
I've been there a few times since the reopening and I enjoyed the good beers and the traditional pub food.
Good also for groups IMHO because of the spaces.
G. K.
Loved the refurbishment. Camden sort of feel! Staff are amazing, decent prices and great food. Also have fun extras such as the panto and theme nights.

The interior architecture is inspiring, this secret gem of a pub provides a service that many other pubs don't. If you want to steer clear of beards and craft ale come here. The local dialect is somewhat soothing as your sip your £2.90 pint.

Excellent choice of Sunday roasts in this spacious pub which retains some of its original Victorian gin palace features. The Big Bang on draft seems to be the pick of the craft beers.
P. H.
Revamped Denmark arms East ham: good beer, range of bitters: Purity and Volden session ales, Beavertown neckoil, bluemoon, Amstel lager amognst others on tap. Extensive food menu and Sunday roasts and good atmosphere. Plenty of tables and room.
J. M.
Great pub. Friendly staff in spacious and beautiful, Victorian building. Good range of beers and food. The best pub in East Ham.
S. P.
This is one of the last remaining pubs in Newham I have not been there for maybe 2 years but I was told by a friend recently that I was charged to enter just to have a drink on the basis that they are aware there isn't much choice within the area doesn't seem too fair to me if I'm honest
J. A.
Lovely staff and clientele. Great music mix and atmosphere. Very relaxing and welcoming. I felt very safe .

Very friendly staff, I am pleasantly surprised! You don't find this level of good customer service easily nowadays. And the place is very spacious and beautifully designed.
