Reviews of Dirty Martini Covent Garden
A. D. M.
Had such a great time at the bottomless brunch here for my birthday yesterday. The staff were super friendly and made it a really lovely day. Kia, the fab bartender even let me make my own cocktail as a special birthday treat. The food was great and our fab waitress Tracy made sure our drinks never ran dry! Would definitely recommend!
E. C.
First timers! We went here and it was happy hour! Had lovely cocktails. Passionfruit martini wasn't very creamy though. Nice atmosphere and very lovely staff.
G. M.
Definitely worth a visit at happy hour - half prices drinks and cocktails. The house white isn’t too bad and at happy hour is £12 per bottle! Great place to come before/after the theatre
J. W.
Had a really good night .The staff was excellent it was my sisters birthday they invited her behind the bar to make a cocktail it made her night .
C.
Booked here 5pm Thursday to take advantage of the Half Price Happy Hour. The place is very small, seems to have much more seating outside rather than inside, but it made for a nice intimate setting.
The drinks were good, I had about 5 martinis, which were only around £5 as they were half price, which is great for central london. They took around 10-15 minutes to bring out our 2 cocktails each time. I recommend the Sky Blue and the Wild Stawberry martinis if you fancy something sweet and a bit different.
I ordered some mac and cheese bites, which took 30 minutes to arrive, with no explanation for the delay. It was quite quiet at that time, so I can only imagine how slow the service will be later on in the night. The food was good nonetheless.
The toilets are not great. As it’s underground in a sort of bunker, it isn’t well ventilated, and therefore smells damp. I understand that there’s not much that can be done about that, but the vents appeared mouldy, and looked in need of a good clean.
Overall I had a good time. However if you’re restricted on time and need a quick drink/ bite to eat, I’d be hesitant on coming here.

Ella made us a lucid dream, a dirty martini and and Espresso martini. As two cocktail enthusiasts we were thrilled with the drinks she gave us. Beautifully made and served with charm and a smile. Nice bar, excellent service. Highly recommended
J. H.
Easy ordering and pay service via a QR code.
The place could be a bit cleaner with chewing gum stuck around places but apart from that the cocktails were good and nice atmosphere
G. E. T.
Woyld give five stars but the cups were super sticky........ I know that they wete sticky due to the drinks being poured and some of it may have spilled over but I thought they could have wiped the handles of the cups.... However, martinis/drinks were great and service is not bad! Recommend you to reserve a place before going down and go during weekdays. Less people and you get a booking easier.

We went on a rainy Monday. Bookings were messed up , but the staff did well to keep everyone happy. We were waiting for our table for about 20 minutes but we were in a party mood so got chatting to other clients, so it’s seems everyone was in a good mood. Eventually we got our table and cocktails were flowing. Venue is small, but we found it cozy. Sometimes things don’t go smoothly but it’s always good not to blame the staff, they try their best. Work together and we can all have a great time and you get better service from happy staff. Happily go again
R. J.
Had outdoor drinks here. Safety precautions in place ie. contact tracing collected, staff wore masks, extra spaces between tables. If you're lucky to get seats -- especially on a weekend! -- it's a great place for people-watching and basking in the afternoon sun.

Booked bottomless brunch in dec..90mins slot.went for vegan option.was ok.did not like the colouring on bread..stick to healthy please :)
Only 4 types of martini available on this.. the blood orange one however was to die for❣.. waiting staff great and helpful..we had a real fun time for a 2pm slot!!
P. R.
We went here for a bottomless brunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. Had good fun, and we got alot of food and drinks for the price we paid. Jack was amazing and was very attentive to our needs.
L. O.
Fantastic place to have your cocktails 3 drinks for £15.00.
Q. G.
Always remember to book ahead as usually quite full, drinks are ok not out of this world but nice, they look very pretty though.
M. V.
For all cocktail lovers this is the right place for you . Presentation of the Food and cocktails are amazing. Thank you Manager Sam and staff Tracy, KB, Mariana, Kia and Aj for your excellent customer service. Me and my friend had a great time
O. J. G.
Happy hour is really good value, the vegetarian food options are also great!
Will definitely visit again!
R. C.
A bit small a bit dingy, the music is very good lots of danceable tunes! Sadly some of the clintele on the night we went out wanted to cause trouble 😕
L. E.
We went for happy hour which was great value!
H. S.
Booked for 6 of us visiting London and took the opportunity to make cocktails. What a laugh. Entertaining, fun and deliciously tasty. Staff had set up and were prepared for us. The place is great. It began to get busy mid to late afternoon. Staff are lovely. Great spot.
M. B.
Absolutely amazing service from Mia and Mel making sure we had the best night ever!
j. r.
Some nice drinks, does get very busy on a Friday evening so best to book a table. Expensive so best to go at happy hour where all during are half price. Most of the staff are very nice!
D. H.
Amazing cocktails, great food. Only disappointment I had, was discovering this location doesn't have the neon wings for taking photos with.
O. S.
A rather small bar from the Dirty Martini chain.
It is located in Covent garden.
Popular with tourists and holidaymakers.
The serve a variety of drinks including cocktails.
They have resident DJs and are open to 3am at the weekend.
F. A.
Good bar in general. Good song and nice cocktails. Good environment. Located in a well decorated basement. Reservations are recommended specially for big groups.
K. R.
Excellent service last night, even tho it was super busy, there was plenty of staff to cope with Happy hour! Our personal fav...the pineapple and peach Martini 🍸
V. T.
Lovely little underground martini bar with soft lighting and amazing martini's. We went for happy hour on a Sunday which was great value! Would be ideal for a date night.
Y. M.
So nice. So chilled. So cool. That was just the subterranean cocktail bar itself! Tried a Mojita cocktail! Wow! All of the above again! It had a great ambience. Good music. Everyone there just quietly relaxing, in comfy seats in dark corners. A lovely end to a busy day.
K. B.
Drinks are nice, as well as the small plates BUT- they genuinely care about their patrons.
A crowd that was too drunk to be out managed to slice my hand open with a chair last night. Not only did someone help me immediately, clean up my hand, make sure I was okay, and deal with the drunk crowd- they paid for my Uber all the way out to Zone 6 so I could go to the A&E close to my home. Thank you Alex! Will definitely be going back.
D. W.
Went on a Sunday, happy hour ALL day (check out their website for other days)
Half price martini's so the prices were fab and very well made.
The chocolate one was delicious and would recommend, will pop in again sometime.
T. M.
Great cocktails, good atmosphere, well-trained staff, and very reasonable prices during happy hour. If you're looking for a good place for a drink in London I'd recommend this place, though it can get very busy so you may not get a seat.
A. K.
Their martinis are top notch. We've tried most of the ones on the menu and all of them were so yummy. Check out their generous happy hour, runs until 10 pm on weekdays!
L. L.
Underground bar with nice cocktails. Great for girls who a love sweet touch to their cocktails! I always go there during happy hours to get half price martinis, a great value!
A. T.
Today's manager ( wears glassess) was a proper cool guy. Definitely sound character and the light skin girl with glasses and the durag. Both showed me a pleasant experience today for my first ever visit. Martini's are made very well. Will makesure to pass by soon
J.
It was OK. The couple of female staff were excellent but the guy was a but unhelpful eg ‘it’s easier if you order water on the app’ was certainly easier for him but harder for us having already asked him. Cocktails were nothing special often overly sweat. Food was good.
C. L.
Found this cocktail bar by accident but it seems to be a fun place to visit. Will update more after a full visit
F. A.
Went for bottomless brunch with the girls over the weekend. Definitely worth and service was great as they were keeping an eye out to order our drinks as soon as we were done. Drinks options for the bottomless brunch was terrific but they weren’t able to serve other drinks even when we wanted to pay extra which is slightly disappointing
S. D.
Great night at Dirty Martini, great cocktails from Patrick!
m. v.
came for my birthday a couple of months ago , the place is lovely ! Very instagramable with the mini burgers and cute food ahah ! all my friends loved it had the best day thank u
K. M.
Had a nice evening out at an outdoor table here, before things reopen indoors on May 17th. My mocktail (lavender and elderflower with pink lemonade) was delicious and nicely garnished. Good service too. :)
S. D.
Loved the place, great atmosphere, music and so many drinks to choose from.
K. Z.
Wowzer. Cocktails so dirty and delicious. To get yiur place u need to book in advance.
R. N.
Friendly little place but tricky to find as it's underneath another restaurant with an entrance that's pretty tucked away
J. T.
When it comes to cocktails you are completely at the mercy of your bartender... and how good they are at their job. I guess it's also difficult NOT to be an arrogant cocktail waiter/ress due to the level of skill required to be a good one. Only 1 of 3 was able to make a White Russian the way I asked (specifically shaken not stirred). 1 poor girl made such a hash of it we never saw her again. Another girl was VERY good. A great menu, with half price happy hour on selected drinks. Being at the heart of Covent Garden the prices were very reasonable. Food was also very nice. We found a nice little pitch in this comfortably small bar and settled in for a long haul, only to be ejected from our stools after 2 hours, nearer the evening as they needed to remove them to make more space. We promptly left. Definitely worth a visit for a drink or two.
P. A.
Good for happy hour drinks only. Wouldn’t ever go and pay full price.
A. S.
Place is environmentally friendly and staff are very polite. Situated in an area of great historic importance to this country and ideal tourism. Great place to come with friends family for a nice day out. 😇
F. G.
Went in at 4pm more or less, two people serving at that time (male with tattoos and female pink hair): felt like I was annoying them ordering cocktails, not a good guest experience at all. After 5 pm a totally new team came in and they were a totally different world, enjoying doing their work and very polite! They made up to three stars otherwise it could have been a 1 easily. Cocktails are good and happy hour worth it
D. C.
Been there several times after work for leaving do's, always during happy hours. Good service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and good cocktails. Not a big bar, so I reckon might not be so nice and comfortable during busier times.
Last time, Espresso Martini was not good at all(weak, tasteless, big pieces of ice -is meant to be fine-strained so can't have big pieces of ice). However, took it to the bar, explained it to the staff, they understood, gave me a new one which was much better; so everybody happy, no harm done.
E. B.
I go to this bar fairly regularly, as it's a convenient spot to meet, and the Happy Hour deals are great value (£4.50 for a Martini until 10pm!).
I'd recommend booking a table in advance if you know you're going and would like a seat.
On occasion, we have been offered table service, but this ended up being slower than just going to the bar (although the bar was very busy with just one person serving tables, so this is understandable and wasn't an issue for my group).
Earlier in the evening the music is moderate but this does seem to turn up to a slightly more 'party' decible after about 8pm. Given that there's barely room to dance, this does seem a little silly but depends on your mood and preferences as to whether you'd find this off-putting.
The staff, including security, have always been polite, friendly and efficient and willing to help us out when we wanted to try something new.
J. M.
Nice bar with okay selection of drink. Very expensive and very small bar. Waiting time for drinks is longer than others in London.
T. K.
Updating my review and changing to 3star. They reached out to resolve charges and have reversed them appropriately. I give them full credit for resolving situation.
My husband and I went in for a drink. The music was great and atmosphere was fun. But we should have known to walk away when there were 7 bartenders goofing off behind the bar and wouldn't serve us for five minutes as they were to busy dancing with each other. We finally get a bartender to serve us when he couldn't figure out how to use the POS system. He asked us to swipe our card twice and had to find a manager to tell him to put more paper in the machine. He swiped again and seemed happy it went through. As I'm checking my bank statement this morning I can see he charged us 3 times for our drinks. We leave today and they don't open until after we're gone. 75 pounds for 2 drinks is a real bummer. Beware locals and tourist just stay away.
s. b.
It's a nice bar. Drinks are not cheap but that's to be expected in central London. The lady serving us was very helpful friendly and polite. I would definitely attend again.
B. O.
I would definitely recommend, we went for the supper club on Tuesday, Janine and Victor single handedly made me and my friends night. The service, detail to attention, pace, atmosphere everything was perfect. This isn't my first time coming here and it certainly won't be my last!
B. P.
Whenever I am in Covent Garden for dinner or drinks I try to pop into Dirty Martini for a cocktail during happy hour as it is great value and drinks are delicious. Brought my niece along for her 18th birthday celebrations and we were given attentive table service all night. Highly recommend!
A. H.
Drinks and service were adequate. When booked in their website was mentioned that heaters and rain protection would be in place but none applied. Food also average.
V. P.
Had a birthday party here recently, a nice area was provided which was paid for. Prices for drinks were pretty fair in my opinion, we also had a waitress serving us until her shift finished which was a nice touch.
Cons: the bouncer would just let anyone into our area which eventually became overcrowded by others. Also the DJ was awful, no consistency, below average mixing. This seems to be the common factor in other Dirty Martini venues I have been to also. Overall, it's ok but in this part of London plenty of other better venues.
D. T.
Outstanding and intimate service as our waitress remember us from our last visit even though it had been quite some time since we had the pleasure of frequenting the establishment.
K. “. T.
Great place for a late night drink 🥂. Many thanks for Melissa and Vito for the great hospitality!
V. M.
Been to almost all dirty martinis in London and this in comparison was a bit too small for the amount of people they let in. We had a reservation for a birthday party and we were given the VIP area but random people were allowed in, invading our space.
Music was not that good either as the DJ wasn’t able to mix songs properly.
Drinks were good with similar price of the rest of the London bars. Staff was helpful with the reservation and on the day. Didn’t like the fact though that despite having a big reservation we had to pay for entry fee after 10pm.
B. M.
Amazing people are coming back and it's great feeling that atmosphere again
G. W.
Chilled out vibe and great drink prices for central London. Happy hour lasts till 10!
M. T. R.
Excellent place for have a drink ! They have a really nice selection of martini cocktails, pretty good music (is a bit too loud but is okay), staff are really friendly and welcoming! The place is modern, soft lighting and nice atmosphere for have good time. Check on the web site for the hours of the happy hours and at the same price you will get two drink !!!
N. B.
Good venue in general. Good range of music and a good variety of drinks that are priced decently for a club in Covent Garden. The main reason for the three star rating is the crowd capacity. Bouncers let too many people in which made even just standing around hard never mind trying to dance.
J.
Had a lovely night here last night, covid precautions in place, great music inside, cocktails very tasty (loved the lychee and Rose martini), great location too!
K. G.
It was crowded and confusing when we went to the place, it seemed lacking a manager.
Although the staff was good at making cocktails and friendly. Their Dirty Martini is real dirty and other cocktail on happy hour were quite good and cheap as well.
T. A.
Went on Sunday which was all day happy hour, brilliant cocktails for half price (£5)! Blood Orange and Vanilla Martini was the best we tried! Unfortunately Dirty does not just cover the Martinis but also the toilets...
c. p.
Always great. The happy hour is amazing value and great cocktails. Try and reserve a table if you can and go early when its quieter. Lovely staff, who were happy to make cocktails off menu for me
t.
Brilliantly made cocktails. So much to choose from. Warm and friendly staff. Not to pricey. Good location. Plenty of seating
K.
Good atmosphere, a bit loud, great martinis but...the table reservation and the service is pretty poor. From my first visit I could single out a couple of floor serving waitresses which were very not customer friendly and demanding (quite rude actually). We had to stand while the reserved tables were empty as were told that the people who reserved them ‘were here’ apparently. These people didn’t turn up for an hour. Beware of this reservation of the table trap and prepare for some cold sholdet service from the waitresses, especially Sofia!
I. I.
Best happy hour you can get with a wonderful choice of Martini's.
A. B.
Firstly this bar is a bit pricey and small, but its a good place for after work drinks as long as you get there before the masses arrive and box you In.
This place gets very busy on the weekend but its because their Martinis are very good!
Its worth getting there for happy hour where its two cocktails for the price of one, which makes it a bit more affordable. Take a date before it gets crowded and they'll be surprised that hidden underneath Tuttons restaurant is this little gem of a bar.
M. S.
Awww this is the best place on earth! Best manager ! I am blessed I met them! I feel so positive and filled with love! I love u dirty martini people! Gosh! Best time ever ! Kindness of the staff touched my heart! I am surely gng back for more love! And love!!
R. H.
Now this places gets very busy! When it's busy it can be too much to bare, but get in at the right time and it's a lovely, cosy venue for great cocktails.
g. d.
Dirty martini is amazing! The cocktail was soo amazing I’ve ordered an espresso martini and it was so nice! I remember the staff guy’s name Alex it was so nice and polite. He gave us so much attention the whole experience was amazing
S. T.
'It's okay' is probably the most accurate statement I can use for this place. Full of tourists and hens it is a far cry from some of the nicer cocktail places surrounding the bar. For happy hour it is fine, simply fine, just don't order your martini with olives as it lives up to it's name, dirty martini as the olives are kept in oil, so expect a nice layer of oil on top of your drink
B. D.
We attended a cocktail making class here for my wife's birthday as quite a novel thing to do. The bar staff were incredibly friendly throughout and it was a fun experience.
It was unfortunate that the first choice of martini we wanted to make was unavailable. It was more unfortunate that we saw a clump of dust from the aircon fall into our food. Yuck.
A. Y.
Came here for happy hour with friends. They have a good variety of cocktails. I recall getting a grapefruit concoction that did right by me. Will return to try others! Their chocolate martini is a good treat as well. Nice place to catch up over some decent drinks.
S. L.
Absolutely had a blast. Felt the DJ really read the audience, even it was a group of over 40's raising the average age. He soon had some 80's, 90's and noughties which the whole place enjoyed. Would definitely go back
C. H.
Excellent cocktails. I had a Pomegranate, Chocolate and Dirty Martini. Bar staff took time over each drink but were very pleasant. Door man was a gent as well. Cocktails are expensive but during happy hours (Which there are a lot of) are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back soon.
J. S.
Really friendly staff. Drinks are ok, young crowd with quite a few good looking lovebirds. Can’t complain for Monday all day half price martini’s!
C. Z. (.
Lovely place. Their cocktails are amazing. Nice place with a unique atmosphere.
I strongly recommend the “Rub my Rhubarb” craft cocktail. A surprising drink full of different but complementary flavors.
B. G.
Nice place, doorman needs to learn how to smile
A. G.
Mostly crowded little cocktail bar with a good selection of drinks. Always look out for happy hour to make your visit even more enjoyable! Happy hour only applies to a set part of the menu, so don't get too excited!
P. D.
Cocktails and happy hour here are wonderful. It took a bit of effort to get the attention of the waitress as she didn’t come and check in with us at any point, rather we had to flag her down every time.
M. M.
Lovely staff, great DJ and nice atmosphere
A. G.
Would have given 5⭐but waiting 22mintes for 4 cocktails
A. K.
I was a bit skeptical going in as I thought it would be rather dull over priced cocktails but I was pleasantly surprised when I took them first sip, awesome cocktails made expertly. The price is reasonable too as other bars in London charging silly prices. This place also has happy hour which makes it more worthwhile. Going to the Hanover Street branch soon and looking forward to it.
R. W.
I really didn't want to like this place. (Tourist Zone, high priced custom drinks). I was won over by the friendly staff and the engaging group of people that made there way into this place. It just exuded let's have fun and not worry about anything else and that strikes big points in my book. The drinks come out of book and I personally hate a drink that when they strain has lumpy bits left over (like what is that) however you will have fun and you will find something to like about the joint.
c. p.
Dirty Martini is one of my favourite places to drink if I'm central. They do a great and very extensive happy hour (more like 2 hours!) and I can't fault their drinks. My favourite is the chocolate martini, but I have a very sweet tooth! It's worth booking a booth as this place fills up fast.
T.
Great food, excellent service, wonderful drinks. We were a bit disappointed that after 1030pm they don't seat people outside (even though they were still serving people food). We were however given a table by the large windows, which was nice. Recommended.
b. d.
Actually really liked this place. Great cocktails!! Chocolate one, Strawberry chilli, spiced blackberry etc, lots of great choices. GO DURING HAPPY HOUR THOUGH. £9 per martini? No thanks. £4.50? Gimme 3!
J. M.
Great prices for London cocktails, lovely atmosphere to come with friends after work - although book a table as it gets busy. My personal favourite on the menu is the Chocolate Martini. If you are ordering some form of Martini this is the place to come. For other types of cocktails I have other favourite places.
P. D.
We came here for a martini class with my pals from work. It was cool, and the drinks ended up being decent. I'm putting it an average because it was what I expected, not more nor less. The bar woman was nice also, I overall enjoyed it. Good idea for a work outing.
O. P.
Not my place, as I do not drink. However, for anyone on a budget, this is definitely the place to be, especially during their "Happy Hour". They are open till late, too! Happy drinking (responsibly)...!
W. L.
I love going to Dirty Martini's for their happy hour - they have an amazing chocolate martini, as well as a pretty good lychee or spicy melon one too. In happy hour (until 8/9pm) the martini's work out at £8 for two - pretty great for after work cocktails! Expect it to be really crowded during busy times though!
I. S.
Lychee Martini is insanely good in here :)
Very classy little venue, although it does get quite packed inside.
We had a team night out in here, and had a superb time with plenty of enjoyable cocktails and dancing.
Platters to share were quite small and expensive, so I’d eat elsewhere before coming in here next time.
C. M.
I had a fun night there but it's a bit small. Friendly bouncers showed us in (and let our friend whose birthday it was in for free), free cloakroom and bartenders who knew what they were doing and served us quickly. We were there on a Saturday night and the music was pretty good. I'd go back again.
C. T.
Dirty Martini makes good drinks. They concoct a lot of fairly traditional Martinis (and other drinks), but their experimental ones are a nice surprise. Our Pear, and Mango & Chili Martinis were unusual, and happy hour made them really very sensible prices. Whilst novel, interesting and tasty, they weren't outstanding point. The Chocolate Martini sounded interesting - something to try next time.
The downside is that this bar's described as 'hipper than hip', though that's not really the phrase I'd use. It's a slightly dressy place and that tries to be a bit sexier, shinier and higher-quality than it actually is.
R. A.
Enjoyed my drink. The music was at a nightclub level, if thats your thing then go for it but I had to shout to be heard to others on my table. Guess they've either not read the current guidance or don't care
A. G.
Great cocktails, fantastic happy hours and banging tunes!
O. W.
With a very Sex and the City feel, Dirty Martini is a great place to head to with friends or with that special date. The decor is dark and enticing, and the cocktail list is as equally intriguing, with the standard classics through to their own inventions. Happy hours always offer excellent drinks deals and the atmosphere is always chic but friendly.
K. R.
Provided you can get a seat, or at least a place to stand where you're not being pushed out of the way every 2 seconds, then this place is definitely worth a happy hour cocktail. The place is small and, despite being on the Covent Garden piazza, doesn't feel too touristy. I reckon the underground location might help with that! Their Breakfast Martini is great.
L. S.
Really good bar with a really good atmosphere. Our server, Asmahan, was incredibly attentive and even brought extra chairs over when there were standing guests. Would definitely go back again :)
B. B.
Really nice bar, just a bit smaller than I expected. Cocktails and other drinks are fabulous. Dj played some good tunes too. Will try out different branches within the year.
S. D.
I've had my best cocktails in this classy cocktail lounge just behind Covent Garden markets. Chocolate Martini is a guilty pleasure you need to have once in your life. Also they have really good happy hour deals, so I really like Dirty Martini to have a drink.
R. L.
Who doesn't love half price martinis! I had a great time but to be honest I don't remember much 😉🍸#drinkresponsibly
Awesome venue and happy 'hour' is an absolute must if you're on a mission!
G. B.
Dirty Martini in Covent Garden is a tiny but great bar. When I went there on a Tuesday night with two friends, it was not too busy, but I have no doubt this place gets crowded quickly later in the week.
I liked the overall atmosphere of Dirty Martini and had a really good cocktail. I will definitely go back another time. It is useful to know, that Dirty Martini is open quite long, so when most other pubs and bars have closed, you might still get a drink there...
N. L.
Great drinks and a nice little place. The prices at happy hour are fantastic. It gets crowded very quickly just because it's small but other than that no complaints.
L. C.
Came here for bottomless brunch and food was incredible, staff were fantastic and kept checking if we needed more drinks. Felt we could have drunk as much as we wanted!
k. p.
It's good I booked a table but the service wasn't great very slow and when we asked for something was met with an eye roll an attitude the drinks are great but took forever for us to get them. I would just say go there without booking a table it cost £50 quid but the service really let it down usually have a gd time in there. The happy hour is really good.
J. M.
Love the cocktails at this place. Good offers too. It's a rather cosy place in terms of size and deco but plays quite a loud music
A. S.
Dirty Martini is a tiny underground cocktail bar, and in my opinion just a little too trendy for it's own good. But don't let the generic hip-hop, lack of lighting (prepare to squint) and general shiny-ness of the place put you off - the cocktails are really delicious.
My French Martini (something with raspberries) was good, but I got cocktail envy when my friend ordered a Chocolate Martini. Don't leave without trying one!

Amazing value during Happy Hour - it also helps that the Happy "Hour" is actually more like a happy weekday evening or weekend afternoon. The Covent Garden branch can get quite busy making it difficult to reach the bar but that's all part of the atmosphere.
H. D.
So glad the this was the venue I picked for my 21st! Thanks to the caring staff & security that made the experience that much better. We were looked after very well by them all! Great service! Will definitely visit this bar again!
D. W.
Fun spot, though service was very slow
T. W.
Good for happy hour 2 for 1 Martini's up until 8pm at the weekend - Otherwise it can get a bit expensive. If your not keen on your Martini's (as the name suggest) this is probably not going to be your kind of place.
The bar is a little small, down a flight of stair in a basement on the eastern edge of Covent Garden. It pretty dimly lit, but has a good atmosphere with decent music playing & usually has lots of girls dressed up to the nines liking the (in my view slightly faux) sophistication of a Martini bar. Not bad by any means & good for sampling some decent Martinis but for be the novelty where off after a drink or two.

Dirty Martini's in Liverpool st is tiny! On a Friday night, unless you've made a reservation you're unlikely to get a seat. Due to the location the crowd is very Essex girls / city suits which isn't really my cup of tea, but maybe on the weekend it's different. The 1/2 price happy hour is very good though, 2 cocktails for £8 although selection is limited.
A. P.
great location, covent garden. no cover and free coat check. good drinks. gets very crowded and squished at certain points throughout the night. good for a casual low key night out. get there early otherwise line up and risk not getting in#
L. M. G.
Nice cocktails and drinks paired with a super professional staff. The only downside is that there's little seating, is quite noisy and gets really full specially during the happy hour.
f. G.
Great brunch
R. H.
It's ok. What more can I say? It's a chain so will only be as good as the franchisee running it. Good tasting martinis, decent selection of spirits. Probably not cost effective.
m. s.
Really, really good night out. Amazing cocktails, get in on the happy hour. We tried everything on the menu, and I didn't dislike any of the drinks. Get there early to get a seat. :)
L. P.
Probably the best martini in London! Highly recommend! It gets very very busy in the evenings and music is load, but other then that perfect place for drinks
A. G. R.
No olives for my dirty matini!
M.
Some great dim sum dishes. Staff very friendly
l. s.
I went with my friend. The staff lovely and the cocktails were half price ...and in addiction they give us a voucher each for a free cocktail ...I appreciate this
K. F.
Really easy to book and extremely helpful, great table, great drinks at good prices, great atmosphere.
Had a lovely time, thoroughly recommended.
K.
Ignore all the bad reviews of this place smelling bad or poor service drinks amazing food amazing staff friendly and they all make the best cocktails I’ve had in london would have to da commend a fancy pants OMG so strong and the chocolate martini 👌🏻 👌🏻 👌🏻 great atmosphere and a great evening
S. M.
Amazing find, could have walked right past it if there wasn't a queue outside. Cocktails are great, if a little pricey but this is Covent Garden. Really busy on the Saturday night we went.
J. W.
Very well made Martinis at a standard London price that doesnt really blow you away. Nice decor and a quaint little place that you wouldnt expect if you havent been or been introduced to it before. One of those "down the stairs under a shop" kind of bars.
G. X. L.
Amazing Chocolate Martini. A must try!! The service is very good too.
B. T.
Fan of the ever changing martinis here. Go at happy hour. Order alot of drinks rather than one at a time as getting served at the bar requires a lot of waiting.
J. S.
Staff very helpful and quick to serve. Delicious cocktails with a good choice. Had a fantastic time. Will go back
L. W.
Happy hour prices are great. Half off martinis and certain cocktails. All of them very tasty looking. The place is small though.
M. P.
Great little venue. Staff were fantastic. Happy hour is brilliant and the food is really really good. Highly recommended
S. P.
Very small place! Went at Happy hour....i am not a drinker but had a passion fruit martini but couldnt taste the alcohol 😳
N. T.
Nice bar, busy with good choice of cocktails, beers, wines etc, all served by great friendly staff
A. G.
Great atmosphere and decor. Bar staff were really friendly and martinis were amazing! Would defo recommend!
D. F.
Really nice restaurant with delicious food
A. A.
Nice cocktail bar. Gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights and becomes a club. Cocktails are a bit dear, but good for dates.
P. M.
Went here after the royal opera house. What a contrast, loud and crass. Ok if you want to get a quick cocktail before heading home.
H. F.
Good choice of martini cocktails as you'd expect, and not massively overpriced. It's a little gloomy and cramped and can get very busy. Service was good.
M. M.
Cocktails are actually very good, I tried a few of them and were all very special. They are often 2x1. A bit pretentious the environment
T. R. C. d. P.
Nice place, decent music
I. M.
Great happy hour!
T. C.
Great cocktails. Very reasonably priced if you go during their very ample happy hour(s)!
E. B.
Went here for a team building cocktail mixing event, was great fun to get behind the bar and the staff clearly knew what they were doing, all cocktails were delicious.
S. B.
One of my favourite bars in London - great Martinis and always good service.

l. y.
Great music and service.
C. H.
Good music, great value drinks and always a good atmosphere here. Central location but slightly hidden as it is downstairs.
C. U.
Very good cocktails, their chilli martini is amazing. The only downside being their overcrowded bar, bad music and no air ventilation.
D. D.
Great cocktails but the Venue is very small. Great place to enjoy happy hour
R. M.

G. W.
Good fun evening!
E. b.
The place is beautiful! But I've been a few times now and the service keeps being fairly bad.
F. M.
Great evening out! Great cocktails! Not so expensive with the happy hour!
N. G.
Can get quite busy but the coctails are worth it. Also friendly staff and great music. Would recommend it.
K. A.
Not really my cup of tea. Space is too small therefore you might not find somewhere to sit and expensive. I suppose the design is nice.
J. M.
Enjoyable brunch with cocktails...staff very friendly and attentive.
L. K.
Really small venue, but drinks are nice and reasonable enough. Their other venue is bigger and nicer!
E. H.
Awesome little place, very classy. Lovely drinks and happy hour lasts a few hours.
T. C.
Great drinks but the bar is too small and they let too many people in

Drinks were ok but the floor was sticky and there's not much room to sit
C. S.
Enjoyed the bottomless brunch experience.

Average drinks and the music is not great. Catered a lot to the females which can get a bit much.

E. M.
Open till 3pm and music is nice but Dingy place, sticky menus and terrible DJ who couldn't even do simple song transitions...
B. P.
Good bar, but being next to Covent Garden, overpriced. Walk a few blocks away from the tourists and pay less.
L. S.
Nice place to go and let your hair down. The only problem is its a bit small
S. H.
