R. C.The Duke of Clarence is another find in Kensington, London. I can't believe I found a bar with a real fire to chill out in front of. The clientele are mainly in their late twenties to late thirties and as such the atmosphere is great.
I ate a vegan burger and my pal ate a sirloin steak. We both liked the food, but we especially liked the table service. Well done guys! Highly recommended.
S. F.Lovely pub near Gloucester Rd - great food, good ambience, very attentive staff and nice decor. We go there regularly and are never disappointed, a good stop for lunch or dinner or just a drink if you are in the area.
C. H.Had lunch at The Duke of Clarence today with a friend and her two granddaughters (who can be picky eaters). The staff couldn’t be more helpful and all the food delicious.
I have visited several times over the last ten years with various friends and the staff have ALWAYS been friendly and helpful; the food always just as ordered and perfectly cooked; and the drink just right too.
In a big city it is rare to have such consistently high quality. Thank you !
S. M.Visited on Sunday to watch the rugby match- what a great place! The staff was lovely, the pub was nice and spacious with a nice vibe! The food took longer than expected to arrive but before we could ask the server about that, she came and apologised and told us that we don’t have to pay for any of the food- this was an example of excellent customer service! The food itself was quite decent, the fries and sticky toffee pudding were the best! Over all would recommend if you’re looking for a nice pub!

y. k.Got the Fish and Chips. Good portion and great chips. I would not personally batter the fish with the skin on but that might be to interpretation. The mushi peas seamed off, I tried to tell the waitress but she tried to convince it was my tastebuds. Otherwise service was friendly and fast. I was at odd time and place was empty thought.

The mushy peas is lightly seasoned that i can still taste the sweetness, and the same goes for the potatoes frites. overall, seems like they are letting the ingredients' original flavour to come through and not smoldered in batter and mayonnaise. enjoy it, thank you.

We were warmly greeted and shown to our table, which featured name cards listing the menu we each had selected, Christmas crackers, etc. The atmosphere was very festive. Starting with wine, the whole meal was beautifully paced over two hours. The food was superb! We look forward to returning on our next trip to London.

It's good for watching sports too, very nice ambience and people. They have brunch and also fresh vegetable juices. I tried the English Breakfast but the eggs were over cooked, ingredients and quality are good.

Shame about the neighbours who moved in next door and then proceed to get the council to put restrictions on the place. Piece of advice when you next move, don't move next to a pub if you don't like people drinking!
N. D.Recently refurbished from the Geronimo style to the corporate Youngs style. This has added nothing and taken away the quirky Geronimo parts that I always enjoyed in all of their pubs.
On arrival I was stood waiting to be served whilst another customer placed a large order, one of the staff seemed to ignore me, served herself a hot tea and carried on doing other things. Not impress by that as good customer service
