Pop in here quite regularly on my London visits and went in after the Arsenal V Brentford match recently and had no problems with the Arsenal fans Always seems friendly and trouble free and It’s good that these pubs still exist I’ve knocked one star off as the barman is always a bit offish to non locals

Clean alround with a one way system in and out. Spacious seating area with a number of sports screen. First time here and was put in my place as to Covid procedure in a firm but polite way.

Nice homely atmosphere, friendly staff with good combination of customer ages. As a lone female I did not feel uncomfortable or awkward. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and I felt secure in the knowledge that any unwelcome attention would be dealt with calmly and efficiently. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

A proper London boozer. This pubs atmosphere makes up for the cheesy decor and worn carpets. A rare sight these days but you can go in this place and it will be busy during the day. I wouldn't recommend it for a date but it's a nice place for a relaxing pint with the locals.

Very nice place to visit and very welcoming. Drink prices are reasonable. The interior could do with being updated as well as brightening up. The toilets also need attention. But overall a very enjoyable evening. I shall return. 👍👍👍

What can I say .. I am not from London but I walked into to this pub a and the welcoming was enough for me to have drinks, the friendly bar staff to the crisps made my night. I can definitely say my next time to London will be me visiting this pub .

Was a while ago but last time I went for 4 pints and change from a tenner. Brilliant madness. Old school boozer and hope it stays strong as they’re a dying breed. A few other old schoolers in the area tho so Holloway/ Hornsey doing well for them.
