Fun brewery pub that has the option of table service or ordering at the bar, including a paddle of four beers if you want to try a few. They also have a cocktail menu if beer isn't your thing. The food truck when we visited was Japanese and very tasty.

Woof! Lovely (hipster-y) location with fantastic beers and lovely staff. The pale in particular was pretty spectacular. One of the few upsides to the global catastrophe that is Covid 19, has been the widespread introduction of "order at your table on our app". Makes the experience all the more seamless, and it's in full operation here! On the day we popped by they also had Yeah! Burger serving up absolutely delicious food as well. Checkout the photos. 🤤 We shall be back very soon.

Had a really smooth powerful imperial stout (deep dark) on tap and a juicy pale ale too. Topped off with delicious momo dumplings from the food truck.

Great vibes and big drinks menu which means non beer drinkers like me (yes, we exist) can join their beer loving friends and still have a great time! Excellent burger from Yeah! Burger as well.

Absolute gem of a place. Great selection of beers and super friendly staff. We spent a very enjoyable few hours with the owner and brewer. We will definitely be back when are next in the area.

Cool industrial vibes in an industrial area. Craft beer was really tasty and reasonably priced, music selection as well as lighting and decorations created a nice ambience. The food options are a bit underwhelming.

Nice brewery with a tap room bar. Good selection of beers, and a larger option. Food on site which was very good. Local atmosphere. Don't believe forced service charge on every orders is very ethical/morally right hence 4 star.

Great beer, friendly staff, service speed was ok considering how busy it was on a Saturday afternoon (drinks come about 10mins after ordering). I definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

As an environment I really liked it. Great music. Nicely designed. Beer wise was good/ok. Would be nice if they served other Beers aswell/ pressure drop or cloud water or verdant aswell. A flight was 8 quid which is fair.

I loved the beer almost as much as I loved the friendly and welcoming service I got from George, despite how busy he was he made that extra time for us. The brewery is beautiful and spacious, lovely staff! But an extra shout out to George! He's what's missing from most bars and breweries.

Visited 30 August 2020 My first, of what will likely be many, visits. Sitting outside I couldn't get a good look at the space inside, but on my way to the toilet I had a brief look and overall is very pleasing to the eye. Obviously some thought and money has gone into creating a welcoming venue, given the competition springing up on their literal doorstep. That's where the beers come in handy. They're good and very tasty, as you'd expect. Table service at time of visit with ordering via whatsapp, a bit clunky but works and saves having to register with an app just to pay. Staff were friendly and personable and able to laugh and joke as they work. Overall an enjoyable first visit. I can't not mention the toilets however. I was not expecting Japanese style power loos when I opened the cubicle door. Someone in another cubicle could be heard pressing buttons before I then heard a surprised, "Oh! The seat's really hot!" I had to struggle not to laugh out loud. Minor loo gripe. Whilst the combined wash hand basin and toilet looks nice and is a good use of space, it is not great if you have, as my Gran would say, shovels for hands. It would appear i wasn't alone, judging by the puddle on the floor. That'll be the sensible sloping toilet seat targeting your feet.

Very original spot for a beer! They brew their own IPA's and other beers and the place has some cool styling and cool music too.

A great taproom, in a trading estate just a short walk off the main road. It has good outdoor seating (some covered), a great selection of beers brewed on site, and delicious tacos cooked fresh by Yucatan. Its currently open 4 days a week (Thurs - Sun), and it gets busy so booking is recommended. I'll definitely return!

Spent a lovely mild evening outside the taproom, sampling the cask, keg and canned/bottled beers. The beers are good, and, I think, getting better all the time. The latest collab, Lava, on cask was really delicious, and more complex than the simple ingredients might suggest. The guest burgers were really good too. The staff were always masked and very efficient and friendly, and the tables were spaced out well for safety. I'll be ordering some cans during the next lockdown, and I'm looking forward to being back when I can.

Tap rooms are never well located and Exale is no exception but it doesn’t seem to stop people coming out in numbers probably due to the great vibe, good beer and friendly staff. Seems well suited for all with plenty of families around earlier in the evening and dog friendly. Food truck was a bit disappointing when I went but yard sale does free delivery to the brewery, just remember it will take 90 minutes on a Saturday.
