Reviews of Forest Road Brewing Co. - Taproom & Bar
L. S.
Not much to write home about. Forest Road does relatively few different beers, so don't expect to find any/many specials here. They have the occasional interesting guest beer, though. Ambiance and style is modern brewery tap railway arch. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit this place.

This place is such good energy. Really fun. Staff are so sound, Danny the manager made us feel so welcome. Our friend had her 30th there and they made the whole thing so fun. Thank you to Blue our bar man who was such a great guy.

Fresh beer and very tasty food pop up. Hawt wings are a must. Outside area front and back.
A. B.
Great craft beer bar serving forest road beers as well as a selection of others. The interior is interestingly kitted out with a. Van to sit in as well as outdoor seating. Worth a visit.

Had a really good time on an otherwise bleak winter day.
Forest Road felt like I was transported to an American dive bar, supping on quality brews that appreciate the delicacy of a lager (POSH) and the depth of a solid IPA (work).
Endless good times, just don't get too sucked into the skate videos.
C.
Great atmosphere! Outdoors is good in the day and indoors once it gets dark.
Staff are friendly, tunes are chill & some nice beers.

Hidden gem under the arches, great range of tap beers. I had their own pale ale. £4 during happy hour. Dog friendly and friendly dogs. Perfect. Cool interior with lots of character. A little chilly as usual for these places.
C. B.
Brilliant beer and ale on tap. Loads of place to sit, even on a Friday night. Good atmosphere and cool decor.

This is my new favorite place for a beer in London Fields. When I walked in last week it felt like I had been transported home to Boston, MA. The beer is great and the service is excellent - Simon especially, is seriously charming. I can't recommend this place enough.

A very fun and welcoming esthablishment, good service and a very good atmosphere, definitely returning in the future!

Great beer and great people
The staff were really welcoming and accommodated us even though we hadn’t booked a table. 5 star hygiene and social distancing measures in place right down to all the details.
Decent music playing too!
Will be bringing my mates here again for sure

They’re brewing great beer here, and have a steady rotation of guest taps as well. If beer’s not your thing, I hope you love bourbon. (I do!) They keep several interesting bottles around and offer picklebacks to go with them if you want to channel your American southerner.
The space itself is awesome; very comfortable and inviting. Dog friendly. We stop in here once every couple of weeks when we need a break from the surrounding markets.

Takeaway and delivery pints during lockdown! Shop local :)
Absolutely perfect neighbourhood brewery. Friendly staff, great vibe, and a great chance to support local businesses. Large outdoor spaces with heat-lamps and indoor space supporting Boston teams (American sports bar, with bonus points for anyone who supports the bruins, pats, or red sox).

Absolutely love this place. Fantastic service from the bar - they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent selection if craft beers. Nice space - never been too busy when I go in midweek. (I haven't been at weekend yet). The beer is not cheap but it is worth it. Currently my favourite place to get a pint or two in Hackney. Love happy hour :)

Forest Road Brewery helped me organise a little birthday event and they were BRILLIANT! Very quick communication, made everything super easy and were really lovely to deal with.
When we arrived we had a little area reserved for us, safely socially distanced from other groups. We were greeted by Simon who looked after us, and he surprised my husband with a goody bag of Forest Brewery merch!
The QR code drink-ordering process was really easy & efficient, and the drinks came out SO QUICKLY!! Highly recommend their own brand Work beer and also their delicious frozen margaritas. We’ll be going back again very soon!

Very nice little brewery. A bit hidden but worth a visit. Get the tasting paddle.
A. C.
Popular craft beer bar in trendy area of hackney. Nice lighting. Good selection of beer. Makeshift vibe. Pickle backs.
R. A.
Great local brewery started in late 2016. Lovely little place tucked under one of the rail arches, they carry their own (ever-expanding) lines of beer plus a number of nice guest beers on tap, plus more in bottles. They've also got a nice range of bourbons as well if that's your preference. Show up later on a weekend night to see it heaving but if you want a nice chilled out chat with some people who are really enthusiastic about what they make, show up on a Saturday afternoon and grab a couple of pints. If you're lucky Pete (one of the founders) might be in with his dog, who is adorable but kind of doesn't care about you (unless you have food.)
R. S.
Great little venue and good loud PA for getting the party going. Good selection of beers although could do with a board with names, flavour and abv etc of the beers. Could only see pump tags which are located on the back wall behind the bar so it was a bit of a lottery when deciding what to go for next.
C. B.
Great bar/tap room. Only found it last month so think it's quite new. Very friendly service. Good selection of beers, some of which are brewed on the premises. Nice little seating area outside too. Great place for a pint or two after Broadway Market.
D. T.
Very good craft beers and cocktails at reasonable prices, friendly staff and cozy environment. One down side, music is way too loud for a small venue like that..you can barely talk to each other. They might want to attract people from the outside as the venue is kinda hidden in an alley, but this might make people inside the bar feel a bit uncomfortable, and leave.
M. P.
Genuinely best bar in London. Bar staff are amazing, managers are great. They always make me feel at home and have a great selection of beer on at all times.
L. Y.
Really nice spot that is tucked away. Only tried the Posh Lager Beer, but enjoyed it! They had a wide selection of beers to choose from. Really friendly staff too! Will definitely return.
R. A.
Fantastic tap room just round the corner from Broadway market. Outside tables are a bit of a sun trap, selection of fresh beer and friendly staff.
E. W.
Arguably the best bar in East London..

Cozy little spot with nearly the full flight of Forest Road brews on tap to try. Also other adult beverages available for the non beer drinkers. Super friendly staff and an awesome chill atmosphere when not busy. Can get lively on Fridays and Saturdays with a live DJ. And you can BYO food or have Deliveroo deliver there.

Cosy and quieter craft bar off the beaten track. Top selection of bevvies. Nice to go to a bar where you don’t need to shout at each other to hear each other speak. Outdoor seating as well!
M. M.
Had a great time getting a noontime halfie here. Really friendly staff, and their attitude towards the brewery/taproom scene in London was enlightening for a tourist/beer lover like myself.
S. V.
Nice cosy tap room with an old van you can sit in in the corner. A run club is held every Thursday at 7pm with a free pint for participants at the end.

Stumbled across this place by accident and ended up staying all night there - great selection of beers delicious cocktails on draft - priced very reasonably and they were pumping out great tunes - highly recommend

Nice friendly little taproom with a bit of outdoor space. 6 taps (2 of their own and their Belgian host brewery), a few cans/bottles.
S. M.
Cosy little place tucked in to one of the arches. Serve their own beer alongside numerous guest taps.good vibes, open late on weekends.

Great joint. It's no longer a real brewery or taproom thou. Let's be honest. 🍻

The vibes are good, but the beer is really expensive (£18-22 for 3) and very average

A great space with the best Aperol Spritz, friendly staff and good vibe.
A downside was I lost some items there on the night (my own fault) and tried to contact regarding lost property to no avail, which is a real shame as I had a great night there.
