A. W.My new wife and I got married at GYC last month. We loved this distinct and unique venue as soon as we saw it and it turned out to be a great choice.
The setting received rave reviews from guests throughout the day, but above all, Will, Karolina and their staff repeatedly went above and beyond to ensure that everything flowed seamlessly. I can't find a fault with anything.
And all this at a very reasonable price relative to many other venues in London - I think many of the guests assumed we had spent a small fortune for such a location! Highly recommended.

Bex and the event staff were great for our reception. I didn’t have to worry over anything the whole night. Beautiful views even at night and would definitely recommend!
R. M.Friendly and all about boats. If you're interested in enjoying the Thames on kayaks, rowing skiffs, dinghies, sailing cruisers or power boats come along and get involved. The club hosts RYA training courses and also gets people out on members' boats. The club house has spectacular views over the Thames, and the buildings on the shore can be hired for events including wedding receptions.

M. O.Absolutely amazing venue to host a wedding in. Very professional service, friendly staff who care about all your needs and lovely views of the Thames next to an ecology park. Would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to get married in London.
We were originally planned to get married in April 2020, but alas, covid restrictions prevented us from doing so. Nevertheless, the Greenwich Yacht Club continued to support us till we eventually had a date in July to get hitched. They were really sympathetic to our needs and helped us plan the wedding we wanted throughout the process.
Finally, we just wanted to say a big thank you to Will (the manager) who without him, the wonderful wedding that all our guests enjoyed, wouldn't have been possible.
The easiest the five star review we have ever given. :)

P. S.Went to a small Indian wedding here last summer. The weather was great, which made the event even better, having food and drinks out on the decking area. The staff were always on hand to help. The food by their preferred caterers, Satkeer Catering, was amazing and their staff were very friendly and served you with a smile.
Great location overlooking the River Thames.
Downside, you cant hold big events here.

S. N.A great building that projects out into the Thames. Lovely people who were very friendly and welcoming. I was lucky enough to see the tall ships pass here. It's also open as part of the Open House event in September, so try to get along.
T. K.Self help sailing club, hance very affordable. Drying and deep water moorings are available for members.
Main activities include dinghy and cruiser sailing/racing and rowing. Also many social events such bicycle rides, painting, boat building for kids. Club offers many training options from dinghy level 1 to yacht masters, power boat to vhf radio and first aid.
Hot food is served on Tuesday night and Sunday lunch with bar open also on Saturday.
In general, friendly place for water sports lovers.

L.My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here and we had the best day ever, thanks to the excellent management from the very start in the planning, throughout the whole day and to finish, thanks to venue manager Will and his brilliant team of chefs, waiting staff and the unforgettable bar manager and team. It simply was the easiest of transitions from beautiful light and airy ceremony room to intimate dining and spacious dance floor. The bar and outside patio area provides excellent space and hospitality in between changeovers and we have the most beautiful photos which captured the amazing location on the river. Thank you all, for facilitating in the happiest day of my life!

Club de yates Privado que cuenta con unas inmejorables instalaciones para sus miembros y los invitados.Elaboran su propia cerveza y preparan un menú al más puro estilo inglés un 10 en todo. Muy recomendable aunque la entrada está restringida a socios y a invitados.
