Nice pub. Friendly staff, good range of beers on tap. Prices are ok. Sunday lunch was decent though beef could have been a tiny bit rarer and roast potatoes were a tiny bit chewy. Glad we booked a table as you wouldn't have been able to easily walk in for Sunday lunch.

The most amazing Sunday roast at 8:30 in the evening. Kitchen closes at 9 pm on a Sunday here, yet you would never think that the crispy Yorkshire pudding, tender meat and veggies had been sitting around for all that long, and it didn't take long at all to get served (have ordered everything through the app whilst sat at the table. The brownie was a bit dry but apparently that's the trade off for it being a recipe suitable for vegetarians so I was told. Still, a minor blip considering how impressive the roast turned out to be, even at that time of night on a Sunday towards the end of the trading day.

What a pleasant surprise to stumble across this pub on a Saturday afternoon with the children and be provided with 5 star customer service and amazing food. The staff were all friendly and provided games and entertainment for the children. The menu was great, with a variety of food to suit all dietary requirements. We will definitely be visiting again very soon! I would urge you to try this public house.

Caitlin was absolutely sensational leading the pub quiz. Me and my mates came after a wedding and my word were we in for a treat. The quiz was breath taking. The pints were crisp and service was electric. Its not the halfway house for me , its halfway to heaven babyyyyyyyy……

We booked the table online and downloaded the app to order at the table as suggested in the website. Once we arrived, I could see that the staff was taking serious measures against Covid-19. We ordered the full Sunday roast: the meal was massive and DELICIOUS ! I think the best Sunday Roast I have ever had! I definitely recommend the Halfway House ! Thank you for the great meal!!

I haven't been to this pub since moving out of London. Safe to say it has improved drastically. The staff are incredibly friendly and the Roast Beef Sandwich I had was incredible. Only wish this could be my local again. Excellent Stuff!

Superb atmosphere with the candle lit type lighting and soft music. I saw the apple crumble and had to have that! Really nice Bramley apples and vanilla custard! Tastes just as nice as original custard. Nice playing with a cast iron "dish" on a wooden plateau. Sitting next to a set of artificial mirror cross pane windows is a unique experience! Service is brilliantly on point. I had to use the restroom which is downstairs, as I had just had a nice latte a few doors down. With the super nice '50s wallpaper and decor theme and in excellent condition, this place has to be on your 'Must try' list. Overall a nice place to eat and with on your laptop!

Really nice pub right by the station. Food was great. Manager was really helpful with some fussy eaters in our party. We had a really lovely guy serving us called Sean. Recommend if you are ever in Earlsfield. Also they were very accommodating for our little dog.

Everything was delicious and the staff were friendly...they seemed slightly under staffed. My husband hates burgers but we both loved the meat and duck burger. Very good live music the last Thursday of every month - an excellent duo with a cool and appealing répertoire. I highly recommend it!!

Great staff who were fun, friendly and helpful in storing gifts out the way for a colleagues leaving do. Good range of lagers and bitters (bit pricey though, at over £5 a pint) and a few sharing platters went a long way with our big group of friends. The conservatory and outdoor areas are good in sunny weather.

I am a yokal local to the HWH. When we first moved here, this was an awesome pub. Food was fine (never amazing, but food value) and prices fair for London. Now, the decor is still great and vibe good, but prices have skyrocketed compared to the other local pubs. So much so that I've stopped going because I simply can't justify a glass of wine and a pint for £15. If you're going to charge this much, do something for it.

Went here for lunch. Good location next to Earlsfield station. Was quiet when I was there on a Thursday at 12:30pm. Nice inside. Good choice of low tables, higher tables next to the window or booth style tables. Whatever floats your boat... Food was good. I had fish and chips. Decent quality for the price. Would go again and can recommend. Worked out well for a lunch meeting.

Modern pub with good, well-kept beer across the road from Earlsfield station. It's a Youngs pub but has plenty of other producers' beer and good selection of gin and other spirits. Bar staff are very friendly. There is a small outside seating area with heaters. They also have traditional pub board games (not pool). A great place to have a pint when you're waiting for the train. It's not cheap though - most pints over £5. Haven't tried the food but the menu looks good.

The Halfway House certainly lives up to its name, it’s neither exceptional nor terrible - it is inoffensive and a typical Young’s pub. I’m a fan of Young’s so as pubs go it’s perfectly fine and a good spot to put down some decent beer. Great location right next to the train station so expect plenty of those “it’s 11 minutes until the next train, have we got time for a quick one?” discussions.

Really nice pub, especially when you're just coming out of the station, just right for a quick drink that turns in to a longer drink and staying for some of the food. If you happen to be doing that then go for one of the platters, or the salt and pepper squid. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Great location, great staff.

Went for food Xmas Eve I had a burger and hubby had fish and chips and the fish was off. Its taste was foul and when smelt it was very decomposed could have made him really sick for Xmas but hubby decided to bring up what he had eaten then risk it. The 3* is because staff where polite about it all but they did not remove fish from menu or really investigate two other people ordered it and was getting it gingerly
