G. L.We looked around for place to eat and drink for a while, we nearly gave up and just passed this Pub, without better choice With kind of disappointing attitude we came in just for a bit. Guys what a nice surprise ! we actually stayed longer. Great stuff, nice and cozy, lovely friendly people around. The Food is so amazing and drinks are in reasonable price. Great beer, wine and tequilas, we’re putting roots here. Highly recommend!
M. L.Hidden little gem in London. This is the kind of place you would never know about unless someone tells you about it or takes you there. Never the less some of the best tasting no fuss Thai food you will ever eat! We compare every Thai meal we eat, to what we get in this place...I think that says it all!
Try their fried cod with their homemade sweet chilly sauce I think it is! Devine!

J. V.The Hope Pole is located in the heart of Wandsworth, just a couple of minutes away from Wandsworth part and Wandsworth town center.
The Hope Pole is a typical pub British pub. It is well decorated and it feels cosy. It has a small but nice beer garden and it is fantastic for having a bite and for drinking a good beer.
When it comes to food, the pub offers a fantastic Thai menu and the classic Pub food. This time I went for the Thai menu. The menu offers a good variety of Thai dishes, all freshly made. Portions are decent and price is OK.
When it comes to service, staff are friendly and chatty. Always happy to help.
I do highly recommend to visit this pub.

S. S.The hop pole is a friendly, down to earth proper pub that serves tasty and good value Thai food. I like it because it’s not a fancy gentrified Young’s place which every other pub in South London seems to be nowadays. It’s got sport on the tv, well pulled pints and decent food with a small beer garden to the rear. I’m vegetarian and they always remember to do my tofu pad Thai no fish sauce without asking.
M. B. I. a.High quality Guinness beer 🍻 and nice homemade style Thai 🇹🇭 food. I had their cod, which comes with fresh quality vegetables and it's not too salty. I ordered a steamed rice 🍚 too and some vegetable spring rolls. Both good but the latter could be less mushy inside. I look forward to trying some more.

S. M. (.Firstly, very COVID aware. I was impressed that they had a signing in sheet, QR code posters, plenty of sanitiser gel readily available, plus plastic screens between tables.
The service is very good (currently table service, with cashless payment). Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is great and amazing value. The Thai offerings are tasty, authentic and plentiful portions.

c. f.A strange combination of an Irish bar/pub and a Thai restaurant. What? You say.... Well prepare to be amazed. Its awesome. Friendly barman from Chicago and a family run business making excellent Thai food. Starters were on point and the satay was epic. The sauce was homemade and delicious. I have travelled all over Thailand and this place is solid.
Now for the kicker.
The drinks. Are. Very. Well. Priced.

C. H.Lovely Thai food! I had satay chicken and a prawn Pad Thai. The portion size was just right for me. They also do roasts on a Sunday. It's a decent pub with a patio area out the back with benches/seating when its warmer. The staff are friendly and the crowd age range varies. It's close to the thames, so a nice spot to stop off at when its warmer.

A.Great Irish pub. You can watch sports, the atmosphere is warm and the interior is cozy. Best of all, they have a great thai kitchen that is very reasonably priced and super tasty.
B. L.Great Food and even better beer. One of few London pubs that seem to clean the taps. Super fast service as the staff seem to be Irish and know what they are doing. Great for rugby. Not been for trad music yet.

P. R.A gem of a pub. Fantastic Thai food reasonably priced, with exemplary service from the inimitable Jarrat. Colm, the governor, runs a good show here and the Irish crowd flocks here, especially on match days and for the trad session of a Sunday. And like every proper local, it abounds with local legendary personalities with stories galore. I've whiled a way many an hour in this place, and it's all been time very well spent.
