Reviews of King Edward VII
J. M.
I have been to this pub a few times as I live not far away. The lovely lady who seems to be manning the bar everytime I've been in is an absolute delight. She is so welcoming and greets customers with the same charming friendliness as if she were welcoming you in to her own home.
Fantastic service and a pint of Guinness for £4.20... what more could you ask of a non-pretentious East-end watering hole?!
A. S.
Had a lovely Sunday roast. Very tasty, big portion and a good price.
J. P.
1st time visiting here new year eve had a fantastic time staff and regulars absolutely lovely 😍
S. B.
The most amazing food, massive portion sizes and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this venue for all year round. Thanks for making our Christmas Dinner perfect.
V. P.
Amazing pub, nice and cold beers friendly staff and amazing food
T. T.
Little London pub with split levels and and out door area serving a variety of beers and the normal alcoholic beverages. They were understaffed when we were there but the staff were polite and fairly quick to serve. We moved to the back bar as it was empty and the front bar was full, only to wait 10-15 minutes and be told that bar was shut? So we had to squeeze back into the front bar again. I'd come back but only for a few beers I reckon even though they were serving and selling food to.
M. W.
The Royal Roast !!! Any hangover cure and must in Stratford.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great pint. What more could u want from a pub 😁
A. U.
It was alright but very very cold, a bit difficult to sit there when your hands are freezing.
Edit: 26/11 between 9 and 10 pm. I was sitting in the room on the right hand side behind the main bar. Just next to the 2nd bar.
T. T.
Smelt of cleaning fluids and my food was cold....except the chicken and potatoes which were lovely. Friendly staff and fair prices. Good location and a change from all the food chain garbage around there. Lovely Guinness too.
N. H.
A low ceiling, Victorian pub. A typically east london seen of lads chatting about West Ham. Gals boogieing to 80s and 90s hits. The beer is good, though sold in plastic during the football.
R. M.
Interesting location for drinks and some small bit to eat. Good company with the bartender. It’s a bit colder then expected in the Bãr, but the quality of the beer and the atmosphere compensated that.
j. h.
Very friendly staff and lovely food. Shame both real ales were unavailable but great part from that.
G. C.
Great pub with a fine selection of food, it has become a bit of a local even though it's not my area, with the "ever pleasant" Raj at the helm and very friendly bar staff it seems to be a recipe for success, with three more than reasonable size seating areas inside there is plenty of space and a seating smoking area out the back with a seating area at the front of the pub, the friendly nature of the pub and very reasonably priced drinks makes you want to return, I definitely suggest you visit Eddy's if you are in the area, it is without a doubt the best one in this area by far.
A. T.
A nice pub, fast efficient staff, and good prices.
R.
its a bit grimy but has good seating to the frontage. Drinks are all good prices gone up a lot on the food menu, so much so I may as well go eat over the road.
C. M.
Took my lady to lunch here on a Wednesday, 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £25. Wonderful service and wonderful food. I'll be spending my money again here soon
J. (.
I was in London due work, and this pub was next to the Ibis hotel. Made it in King Edward a few times, I have to admit, I think this might be the definition of a British pub haha!
M. B.
Good atmosphere on match day veer decent
D. W.
Wow nice pub you don't get many like this any more no fruit machine and pool tables. I will stopping of here from now on the way to the match
P. H.
Already posted this place and it hasent changed it's still a pub that does food. Friendly staffs
C. O.
Great place with proper yummy food in our local area! Smiling staff and nice service. Great for meet up & hang out.
E. H.
This has to be one of my favourite weekend hangouts. Always great service from Raj and his team of bar staff. Friendly and helpful. Not to mention the singing from Jade behind the bar to keep you entertained!
The food is excellent and very much looking forward to the new menu on Monday...my constant asking to have scampi seems to have paid off!
If you after a quiet drink, a drink with friends, somewhere to work (I often do) or somewhere for a Sunday roast with the football on then this is the place for you.
Family and dog friendly too!
M. Q.
We visited during a football game - so as such there were some nefarious characters about - that said the staff dealt with them very well.
Service was decent, food hit the spot ... roast was really good.
G. D.
Waiting for the bus and Eddie's beckoned lovely pint of London Pride. Then a Doom Bar and a packet of Bacon Fries. Lovely, friendly barmaid.
G. B.
A great, safe, clean & well run place to be with good food (fab value for money... we had Christmas Dinner here in 2019). Good to support a thriving friendly local concern & enjoy the delightful accommodating service of cheerful staff Chloe & Jade. Highly recommended.
d. b.
Wife and I had a great meal today, and I'm not one for posts but my wife wanted me to.....food was great
J. S.
A great place for live music - when it's on!
G. L.
Great pub, friendly staff.
M. N.
Food quality was decent, but I did not appreciate that the manager insist that we have an entire plate full of "mains" food for a second pint (or order a dessert, which we did) even after we ordered two separate meals and still had food left over on the plates (chips, salad and some bits of the burger). He said he didn't want to reduce his business by denying people drinks but I felt like it was the pub's way to make people pay lots of money for food.
I understand it's covid times and everyone is helping each other as much as possible, but I felt he was being unhelpful and difficult just because he could, stating that if someone saw, it would result in a fine for the pub.
K. C.
Always a warm welcome staff are excellent, food is fantastic for pub grub, best place in Stratford bar none.
G. O.
Friendly staff, good prices for London, nice selection of real beers - recommended!
t. d.
Nice night out. Landlord is great (thanks for free skittle bombs)
g. t.
Walked in with my wife on Sunday ,Was met by friendly young lady who took us to a table very chatty on the way, both had chicken & was kept informed about service etc by the young lady who we found out was from Wales. Can’t thank her enough for making us feel so welcome & we enjoyed food. Will call again & will recommend. Thank you

Very nice pub super friendly and amusing place
This is the only pub I have been in where people would break into song along with the jukebox. Only rarely but It happened and it was very jolly indeed.
O.
In comparison to a few years ago, review of a Sunday roast...
Pros
Excellent gravy
Decent meat
Good guinness
Cons
No ales on draught
Soggy veg
M. C.
Historic, great location.... only issue- music is waaaaaaay too loud.
L. S.
We stomped over this warm and lively place by chance during our stay in London and immediately became four-night regulars. The staff were friendly and always willing to find a table and enough seats for a group of nine. The atmosphere of this place is stunning, the meals very nice and the beer great. The hospitality is breathtaking. And, as my blurred photo shows, you can also set music for the playlist.
m. p.
I have to say, the best steak ever. I have my steak 'really really well done. Any pink and l'm out. Steak came out and we reply thick so was convinced it would be pink inside. It was perfect, not tough or slightly burned on the outside which often happens to me, even when paying twice the price. My partner had the steak and ale pie and loved it. Full of pure steak chunks.
Thanks to Raj for the friendly service. We will be back to check out curry night and your Sunday roasts without a doubt.

Warm and friendly service drinking hole.
P. A.
THE best Sunday roast EVER. Lovely staff too.
D. O.
Lovely pub great people and bar stuff definitely coming bk . Also cheap drink price
R.
Great pub in Stratford. Nice whisky selection, and excellent roast on a Sunday. Very safe and welcoming post-lockdown. Friendly staff make all the difference: shout-outs to Jade, Chloe, Shani, Sandra, Paula, Sasha and Raj. Would recommend.
J. N.
Lovely traditional pub, of which there aren't many in Stratford. I live locally so after my experience last night, will go there regularly from now on!!! Went in originally with my best friend, for the roast dinner and pub quiz but were later joined by my little family, including two children. Food was delicious and generous portions. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. During the evening we were celebrating a heavenly birthday and they even put some music on for us! They even lent us a phone charger! Many thanks to the staff for making it a lovely, memorable evening. Keep up the good work!!!!!
N. B.
The' Eddy' has been my local for a long time. It should be said that even in these strange times it remains a friendly traditional pub. The staff are friendly, Chloe, Sandra and all of them!
They will make you feel safe and abide by the new rules while providing a first class service in which you can relax and escape the worries of the world. A gem we cannot afford to lose. Recommended for the discerning pub goer.
S. P.
Amazing pub with original features! Great staff and atmosphere! Recommend to anyone who is local
R. S.
Lovely staff. It's a bit of a maze with additional seating outside and to the back of the bar which is nice. Didn't eat hear but saw some others wolf down lovely looking burgers and hears them comment on how nice they werw
J. R.
Lovely old pub. People need to use it more
r. j.
Fantastic! I'd booked the karaoke and upstairs bar for a birthday party of 60 people and we had an amazing time thanks for the fantastic hosting. We had everything we needed and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommended. The food is also very very good.
T. L.
Ollie Newell and myself had a top class Pub Grub Meal and Jade could not have been more polite, helpful and even as a great touch sang Happy Birthday to my friend on the occasion of his 51st.
It is a must Pub for atmosphere, good Grub and loads of specials on offer 7 days a Week
M. R.
Lovely pub to visit in the summer
G. M.
Really enjoyable evening. Loved the Halloween decorations. Food was amazing. Great friendly atmosphere and staff. Paul and zara were fantastic hosts. Highly recommended Jazz night was superb. Best place in East London for live music!!
R. P.
Wow, I've been to some great pubs in my lifetime, but this is by far is the greatest pub I've ever been too! Service and food was great. There is no other pub close to the quality of this one.
J. M.
Great clean establishment tables clean menus clean bar clean, no sticky bar or table, staff great customer service, food fantastic best I have had in Gloucestershire for a long time. Had slowed cooked pork wow presentation was superb and tasted never had better out in any restaurant never usually had mash potato unless I cook it, but this was lovely not to mushy but no lumps, lovely main course, had to have a desert had Eaton mess lovely touch white chocolate , raspberry mouse different and icecream in the bottom different but nice maybe a little bit more fruit. Would recommend to everyone there is a very good choice to choose from on the menu xx
b. d.
I've been here many times in the last year, and first of, the staff are brilliant! So welcoming, so quick, and basically so good at their jobs. Never had a problem at all here and that's saying alot - I am problematic 😝 the food is brilliant too! Great portions and very reasonable prices. They day daily deals too so always worth a peek. Great great pub ***** 5/5
J. M.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and one in particular is a fantastic singer and should do “The Voice UK” Good food. All I all a great experience. Also dog friendly.
K. J.
This traditional English pub is truly a place where you can ease your mind and have a good laugh with your friends. Especially during caraokee or disco nights. Their kitchen provides various typical pub meals and their fish and chips is something one must try! If you want to spend some good time then this is a good option! Highly recommended.
D. J.
I live in Australia and whenever I visit London I stay in Stratford and always visit King Eddie's. I love the atmosphere and the history. The bar staff are super friendly and quick with a smile, even when they are busy.
Food is good, good selection of beer, real ales and later. Fish and chips is large and superb.
m. s.
Now more competitively priced for Sunday Roasts than previously & now provides regular events such as live music & steak nights. Given the Queens Head no longer provides live music, this is sorely needed for the local area. My most recent visit I didn't stay because I couldn't find any bar staff, I'm assuming this is a one off so I won't mark them down unless it happens again.
C. A.
It was great with in house food, terrace and garden area. A bit noisy inside, nice music
v. y. k.
Couple of pints in there pre game... Decent
B. T.
Bar staff excellent 👌
M. C.
Staff friendly and helpful. veggie lasagne salad and garlic bread it was what it was filled a gap. Pint of Doom Bar always helps. I think the pub has good atmosphere good place to chill after a day on a stand in an exhibition. I would (and will) come back again.
D. M.
Great place, one of the best pubs around. Good selection of beers and nice food served here. Outside seating and always has a space to sit and enjoy your time.
m.
Fabulous beers, good food, lovely and accommodating staff. Seán and his team go out of their way to be welcoming and dog friendly. Keep an eye out for T.V personality Liz Bonnin who does occasional stints serving smiles, wine and the odd insight into the workings of the Universe. 🖖🏻🐾
F.
Amazing bar staff. Loved them .. it's an old pub and theres history to it. Ask the staff- TOM KNOWS EVERYTHING! lol..
Some original features and lots of seating without being crowded.
I will be going back there.
N. R.
The bar staff and really welcoming and friendly. Great selection of drinks plus plenty of seating areas. Small backyard for smoking.
Roast dinner was really nice, not the best but good nevertheless.
K. T.
I do like this pub. I've been back on a few occasions now and it never fails me. Decent pint, cosy atmosphere... What more could you want from a local?
L. M.
The dining area is spacious and nice. Local crowd. Food is OK. Service is kind.
P. J.
Staff were a bit shouty at closing time. No need.
N. W.
Very nice friendly pub. The landlady and her daughter were a good team behind the bar being both professional and fun. I only went in for one but ended up being one of the last to leave at closing time. They had 3 ales on. Rocking Rudolph, Doombar and one more. Would definitely visit again if I find myself in Stratford
c. s.
Had Sunday lunch which was £15 a head. I thought this was quite expensive for Sunday Lunch but was happy to pay it because of the good reviews the pub had. when the food arrived it was stone cold. When we told the waitress she pulled a face and looked at us like we were mad.
She took the food away without an apology or explanation. Waited ages for our replacements and when they finally came I was given lamb instead of beef. I informed the waitress but said I would eat it anyway but wanted a refund for the price difference. I never got it and couldn’t be bothered making a fuss over £2.
The food is left on the pass for collection with all the empty glasses and ignored by the waitresses who both looked like they really didn’t want to be at work. The tables were very dirty and weren’t cleaned the whole time we were there. To be fair the food was very nice but totally spoiled by the service and grubby surroundings. Won’t be going back for seconds.

Not a review as such but a question.
Can I come into the pub just for a beer or do I have to order food ?.
If I have to order food once it's been ordered and eaten can I remain in the pub just drinking or do I have to leave once food has been eaten ?
.
A. D.
Excellent COVID screening and hand sanitisers to hand! Had a lovely waitress who provided great service and made our visit very enjoyable. Staff deserve all the credit
D. S.
Good menu selection with well cooked food, nice range of drinks at decent prices. Lots of different levels to the pub and places to sit and chat. Also live music on to add to the character, Good east end pub.
A. R.
Nice pub very close to Stratford station. Good food with amazing service. Amazing old English pub
Great Time at the DJ last Night - will be back soon!
Would definitely recommend.
K. B.
Really nice pub, don't know why people are moaning about tattoos on bar staff as long as they are served and not left waiting for ages it shouldn't matter. All the staff are lovely and the drinks and food are reasonably priced.
J. L.
Fish and chips from heaven and those curly fries!!
C. P.
Nice pub, cozy, good pub quiz. One evening we watched an amazing rat run up and down the staircase in the garden. I don't think that's the pub's problem - it's London & there are rats - but rats have gross tails and some people are scared. Plus I've heard that rats attack people's faces and that they can gnaw through steel. I just found it funny.
J. W.
Really enjoyed our visit today, the bar staff went out of their way to accommodate us, the place was having some decorating work completing so it was a little dusty but we look forward to coming back and seeing the end result. Good food, amazing service, and clean all considering - Thank you Jess for accommodating us so well Jodie and Steve
S. G.
Attended King Ed's earlier tonight before the game and am so glad we did! Great old boozer with brilliant staff. Quick turnaround at the bar on a very busy night.... Great place! Cheers all @ King Edward VIII
J. C.
Nice staff but had to help member of staff with a couple of customers but nice beers and very friendly service
M. B.
Really friendly staff. Nice environment. Food could have been a bit better maybe, but overall a really nice pub.
B. F.
Not been in here for around 3 years, after having been a regular since the 90's. It was good to see that the place has improved from when the new owners purchased it some 5-7 years ago. Great bar staff who were freindly and helpful. We will be back.
D. H.
Really friendly staff, good beer, very tasty burger! Chips came in a trendy plant pot and all served on a chopping board with salad... Prefer an old fashioned plate myself!
s. d.
I visited on a Sunday lunchtime This pub is right in the centre of Stratford - It has a good range of beer and the menu is a good of sunday roast
The food was good quality freshly cooked.
The atmosphere was warm chesterfield sofas to relax in.
I would definitely return.
I. W.
We ordered steak and chips for two. Found this was a Wed special that came with a bottle of wine for 25pounds. The steak was cooked near perfection and was tender. The chips big and slightly crispy. Wine was ok, an Italian pino gri. Only issue was paying by card. However would definitely recommend.
m. f.
Great customer service, delicious food and good recommendations about what to eat.
P. O.
This is a good old fashioned pub in the middle of the concrete jungle of Stratford. Good selection of well kept ales , this pub was the only place we could find good fish and chips in Stratford. Beers good, food very decent, set us up well for a good night out.
S. B.
Been here 2 nights in a row now. Steak 1st night, lamb shank 2nd night. Absolutely wonderful. Great prices, quality, and staff. 5 stars from me
L. M.
Had a lovely evening there, the staff were excellent and my Sunday roast was perfect! A lovely setting as well.
V. A.
Great place, one of the best pubs around. Good selection of beers and nice food served here. enjoy your time . Highly Recommended.
L. S.
I’d like to thank the barmaid with red hair for making me feel welcome and safe when I visited the pub this week. She was very efficient and friendly, an asset to any pub.
m. g.
Living in Barking Essex means that you get more and better choices for Sunday lunch, with each month that passes.
A friend had said that the Sunday lunch here was superb. So, my daughter and I decided to try it.
One of my complaints about most pub Sunday lunches is that the beef is generally overdone. I like it medium rare.
And it never seems to be the same quality as the beef you'd cook at home.
Well, KING EDWARD VII offers a real treat. Brilliant Smithfield beef is cooked medium rare and it's utterly delicious.
And then you bite into the roast potatoes and realise they have had the same loving care and just melt in your mouth.
Massive Yorkshire puddings are equally perfect. All of the seasonal vegetables are cooked perfectly.
I'd have liked the carrots to be cooked a little longer, but that's my preference. I didn't leave any on the plate.
My daughter had the chicken and she let me taste that. It was a couple of leagues above anything that comes out of my wonderful local chicken shop.
Service is willing and helpful and excellent.
Burgers which look amazing.
It's not cheap. My beef was £13.95, but I couldn't eat anything else until late the next day, so it may well be economical.
The chicken costs £12.95 but that's chicken and it's served withYorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
I loved Sunday roast and I would recommend it.
A. B.
It's a bit expensive. The beers a bit flat. It's a bit smelly. But the staff are good and the building itself is good proper old pub. Just having a bit of an identity crisis. Feels like a tourist or station pub.
J. C.
A little rough around the edges, and the staff could be a little happier, but nicely-kept ales and delightful wood and glass features make it worth a visit.
Cosy tables in the front bar, more open plan in the rear saloon bar. Check out the sexy tiles along the hallway to the side exit, and give Eddie's burger a go!
T. B.
Very friendly staff lovely pub 👌
T. L. L. a. H. M. K. T.
Fine selection of ales, beers, wines and spirits. Food served also. Live bands, open Mic and quiz nights. Polite staff, professional and skilled security. No violence.
S. P.
Absolute pleasure visiting the pub, really glad we booked my bday here.. the staff and management accommodated our specific requests and ended a really really good night thank you to the team....see you soon
S. R.
Still a great Eastend pub, now with table service, staff as friendly and efficient as ever. The Sunday roast is always a treat.
J. K.
Nice and peaceful pub during the day. Cold, great Guinness. Nice snacks and food for good price. Friendly and polite stuff.
S. J.
All the bar staff were really friendly and professional. I didn't eat here, but the drinks were really cheap compared to West London where I live.
R. S.
Probably the best steak sandwich I've ever had, and I come from the land of steak sandwiches. Perfectly pink flank steak, caramelised onions, a nice helping or chips and spinach greens on the side. Worth the trip from Essex alone.
A. C.
I loved it! Nice ppl and staff, friendly and warm environment. You can also eat there, but i haven't so i am not sure about the quality. Very easy to find from stratford International
L. G.
Ive been going this pub for many years. Great place to socialise
G. L.
Friendly staff and a nice Sunday afternoon boozer with a covered smoking area.
Didn't try the food although the portions looked generous. Nice!
A. K.
Very nice and historic pub. The Guinness is great too. Food is very well priced and a relaxing atmosphere. Worth a visit.
P. S.
Definitely one of the better pubs in Stratford. This isn't saying much, really, but I feel a weird affection for the Ed. All human life is here, the bar staff are friendly enough, it's much less depressing than spoons. I kind of love the Ed, but I'm not 100% certain why.
g. p.
Nice place nice and warm staff food excellent and service
M. R.
Good service. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. Good beer selection. Standard pub grub well presented and cooked.
J. C.
Much bigger than I expected from the outside. Goes back a fair way and upstairs too. Drinks are well priced and there's an excellent pub quiz on a Sunday night.
B. H.
Food looks good, beer selection is okay but nothing special. Green King IPA, Doombar and Bombardier the ales when I last went. 50p surcharge on card.
C. M.
This pub/restaurant is very establish, friendly staff and know how to have a good time amazing food and very welcoming arms.. also great music -Canadians
D. T. D.
Went to an Open Mic there on Thursday and was so much fun. Outdoor smoking aria. Good beers. Traditional pub.
I. S.
Nice local pub in historic building
I. I. J.
Beautiful place with a touch of history, great staff, tasty food, good music, friendly atmosphere. I ll definitely spend all my Sundays there.
A. R.
Great screen at the back for watching football, loads of space across the pub though to avoid any football. Sunday roasts are amazing!
c. s.
Went out for a few drinks with my partner, we dont normally leave reviews but the staff really went out of their way to accomodate us and our little one's, we also learnt under 5's eat free soon so we will be back
R. S.
Nice little gem very close to Stratford station. Good food with amazing service. Amazing old English pub feel.
Would definitely recommend.
P. M.
Lovely little pub very friendly
A. S.
Lovely old pub that beats any at Westfield or others locally but they need to make real or craft ales on tap to a good quality (I possibly had pipe cleaning fluid in mine which they replaced)
B. F.
Been coming here for years and up until recently never had less than spectacular food however new ownership has lowered the standsrds because after eating here twice in recent times was left unimpressed. That's not to say it's bad food, just not as good as before.
E. J.
Pub quiz might not happen BUT still a good pub with nice staff, good smoking area, clean toilets, quiet if that’s what’s you’re looking for, TVs and a good selection of beers. 👌🏻
S. J.
No-frills pub with lots of East London character. Occasional live performances plus a little beer "garden". Plenty of space for big groups.
a. c.
Staff are still freindly and omg i want to take her home with me...shame she has a boyfriend as believe me! We wouldn't be sleeping lol
P. S.
My local pub - a very old inn with a lot of charm. They have open mic nights, real ale and a decent 'gastro pub' menu that isn't too expensive
N. A.
Fantastic pub. Very welcoming. Friendly management. Deffo recommend visiting if in the area.
P. T.
It's a deceptively big pub, if gauging from outside view. Good vibe from staff and folk -Thursday is Music Open Mic Night.
J. E. A.
Probably the only pub in Stratford worth a visit nowadays. Traditional English pub at the front plus lots of room at the back. Staff were nice
J. C.
Great atmosphere . Lovely place for eating and bar staff all very welcoming. Worth a visit. Will be back
P. M.
A very nice multi roomed pub. The front bar is a particularly fine example a pub from many years ago and is full of character.
J. A.
Nice pub, my favourite place for a drink in 'old Stratford'. Friendlier and better atmosphere than the other options in my opinion.
J. P.
Good traditional pub, good range of real ale in good condition, good menu, very reasonable, the whitebait were the perfect snack, great friendly service
L. M.
Absolutely loved the roast pork dinner I had today, great service will be back
G. R.
Good traditional looking pub good beer. Not sure about food but hear its good. Fosters great pint, better then all pubs round here
P. E.
Always been a great pub for food and beers now West Ham have moved to the new stadium great place to meet before and after the match
P. R.
Good experience, we had few drinks and bites.
Staff was amazing, ask for Tom 👍
D. G.
Lovely pub with fast service and outside space
H. V.
Great atmosphere and a good place to drink before and after the game. DJ is awesome on weekends too and really friendly staff and management.
1.
Nice little pub to grab a drink. Very friendly staff.
T. W.
Great place for a pint and steak and ale pie. Live music on Friday and lots of separate rooms for groups.
J. W.
Quite the hidden gem in Stratford
M. F.

We came for Xmas and they had last minute management we were called in the new year for a free proper xmas dinner and they delivered with style...the service we received at xmas wasn't bad but they weren't happy with us not having it perfect can't stress how valued we felt as patrons long live king eddies 😀

I have been going to the King Edward VII Pub, on and off, since the mid 1980's.
Currently the Food is good Pub Grub. The Decor is most Edwardian and it's one of the few genuine East End pubs with marvellous Cockney staff, who engage with their Customers in a friendly and polite way.
I am aware of a Troll named Simon M, that made disparaging chauvinist ( i.e having a smug sense of superiority) comments against the Bar Staff. The comments in my opinion were wholly unwarranted.
The overall score of the Pub is consistent with my experience .
This is in my opinion IS the Best Pub in Stratford in terms of location. Traditional Edwardian decor, Friendly Bar Staff and decent food.
