Brillant customer service from the start, as we was welcomed and seated as soon as we arrived. It wasnt too busy at the time but didn't have to wait very long for food or drinks. There is outdoor seating that is also covered. The food was great and the sticky toffee pudding is a must have.

We used to frequent here when we lived in the area. Lovely pub, nice indoor and outdoor space, the food was always spot on, and we’ve even had a large group booking here at Christmas that went very well. Will come back when next in the area

Overall a great experience, but the food isn’t that great and it’s a bit dear for what it is. There could be a bit more range in the food offered. The drinks however are lovely, staff are amazing and the service is second to none. The view is okay, it does overlook an estate so there is a bit of concrete blocking the view, but otherwise you really feel like you’re a part of the community.

My husband and I came upon this incredible pub just by chance when we were looking for somewhere to have a coffee. Such an extraordinary experience with great food, a log fire, marvellous lighting, a tasteful and cosy decor and, last but not least, very friendly and helpful staff. The whole experience gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. I warmly recommend the King,'s Head Roehampton.

Really liked it. Good service. Can't complain about the food. I had the ribs and sticky toffee pudding which both were huge portions so you get your money's worth! Great interior of the eating area and glad it separates from the bar. The large eating area has lovely big windows looking out onto the terrace. It feels like a greenhouse but echoes like one too...not best insulation so can be a little noisy.

Nice Young's pub with fabulous food. Plenty of space and really attentive staff. No guest ales or range of beers like in some of the other Young's pubs of the same style but a lovely setting, pint and nibble for anyone. Dogs welcome! Like this review if it was helpful.

Nice looking pub, nice garden. Food looked ok but kiev was bland, the chicken wings were not good at all and service was worse. Asked for a drink with no ice, got served one with ice, easy mistake I guess but the fact that the other drink that was served was in a glass with grit and lipstick stains on it was unacceptable. When staff were told about the problems with food etc. there wasn't even an apology. Will NOT be going there again

Lovely appearance and decorations, stunning glass formal dining room. Very clean, well maintained, modern lavatories. Excellent wine list plus good quality Youngs Beers + some craft beer. Very nice menus with great chefs. Outdoors is well laid out under canvass 'tents!' Staff very attentive and efficient. Never had a time there that wasn't lovely.

Gorgeous pub with an amazing atmosphere and delicious food. For some reason we were really fussy that day asking for sides out of the menu and my friend ordered something else by mistake but the staff was really kind and polite all the way through. Not our first time at this pub, and have been to many, however, have never come across such a bubbly, helpful and wonderful team. The manager (Kevin) and staff (who work their magic) go above and beyond to help you feel welcome and enjoy your time at this gorgeous pub. 😍. Arrived for a lunch and the food was amaaaaazing, real portions and great quality- am never disappointed. If you're thinking of a wedding reception, lunch, dinner, brunch, meeting, birthday night out or any other reason you're searching for a place to go/venue, the Kings Head Roehampton is perfect. FYI-the roast dinners on Sundays are particularly scrumptious. My wedding reception was here two Fridays ago and the Kings Head lifted every finger and bone in their bodies to ensure the day was easy, ran smoothly and that 'everyone' was looked after and had an amazing time - which they did. Thank you so much to all at the Kings Head. Each time I visit, you amaze me.

Very friendly outside service, limited burger menu but the two we had were very nice. Roll on May 17 when we can shelter from the weather and enjoy meeting with friends inside but by then the weather will hopefully be nicer for al fresco dining!

My daughter and I found this wonderful place by accident on our return back to London! We fancied a pub lunch and stopped at the first 'pub' and that was the luckiest moment in my life!!! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are polite and professional, the food is absolutely delicious AND they let us bring our dog in with us. The King's Head, by virtue of location, have almost a total monopoly on pub garden in Roehampton. I've been delighted to see that they have taken this responsibility seriously, and opened last week with significant improvements to the amount of seating, heat lamps, and sheltered space. The new vegan katsu burger is well worth a try, and their drinks selection has always been great. Chip portions are also much better too. All in all, very happy so far!

A really nice and comfy pub! We spent a team day planning in their library and it was really nice. Food is good although they do not have non dairy milk and we had to wait 1 hour for food after ordering. And that was at lunch time on a Monday, so the place was definitely not busy!! But, other than that, the team there is really nice and food and drinks are good.

It was my friends birthday and we decided to book the Kings head for dinner, what a great choice! The food was fabulous, the service was amazing and we all felt very welcome. We were a large table however, this was not a problem for the staff - the service was quick, food came out on time and drinks were served fast when ordered. I would recommend this pub, it will not disappoint :)

I’ve eaten at this pub a number of times, including a busy mother’s day lunch. The service and food could not be faulted, the food is always presented beautifully and tastes amazing. All the staff were extremely professional, welcoming, and attentive which helped to have a lovely relaxed meal. The pub is an very beautiful building, which has decor to match, including a great burger bar out in spacious garden. I will definitely be back, and would recommend to anyone looked for a joyous meal.

The Kings Head Pub is very nice inside and the staff are friendly. The food is okay but very expensive for what it is. We ordered two Camden Ales for £12 which is ridiculous, even for London. They are cheaper in Camden where the beer comes from. The Camembert was average and at £15 we expected a lot better. The cheese wasn’t very flavoursome. We had the classic and chicken burgers which were nice. However, £4.50 for some curly fries was a little disappointing as they just tasted like ones you get from a school canteen. Overall, it’s a nice pub with a good atmosphere, but the food was average and expensive for what it was. It’s nice to go to in the evenings to sit outside but you must be willing to spend more than other pubs in the Putney area.

Great pub in the heart of Roehampton, with a spacious and comfortable inner space and big garden outside that is really nice in good weather. The staff is friendly, chilled and relaxed, they seem to me not overwhelmed and it's an important factor while serving customers. There's a big selection of drinks from the traditional ones to the less famous, or a bit unusual ones. Overall can recommend it for the atmosphere, staff and location.

Delicious and cosy Met an old friend here for Friday lunch and he was most impressed with the beautiful interior of the pub. The food was delicious and quick, which was a relief as I was on my lunch break from work, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend without hesitation. As I walked in a few weeks back my first thought was "why haven't I come to this place before"!..... it's lovely, lighting is perfect, music volume/playlists are perfect, most of the staff (with the exception of one or two) are friendly (they smile!) and appear to be happy to assist and make sure you have a good experience, without invading one's own space. I don't drink alcohol (hardly ever, hate the taste, coffee/tea please!!) therefore hardly ever go to a bar or a pub, I just don't like the atmosphere when people have had too much to drink.... but there are always other soft non carbonated drinks that I can happily enjoy as well as the super delicious meals that I have had since I discovered this place. I enjoy eating out and once I find a place that offers comfort, friendliness, space and a clean and pleasant environment with a great atmosphere and tasty food, I guarantee regular visits and would definitely recommend. It's nice to know there's a decent place to go to as I've only moved to the area 3 months ago. Will consider having private dinners and bookings for celebrations in the future.

This was a delightful discovery. I have been once, but this time we found the garden. It's larger than you think. Sat and had a share plate of ribs and sweet potato chips, very tasty. A nice bottle of wine in the sunshine was an ideal Sunday, sunny afternoon. Has a small car park, near main road, but they have designed the garden where you still have a sense of privacy. Look forward to summer evenings there. Staff were friendly and very good service.

Food looks good. Somewhat incongruous bar staff in very casual clothing: much humbler pubs would have some basic staff dress code. Here, they look like they've just wandered in off the streets. This pub has all the makings of a nice gastro-pub. The pub itself has been nicely done with a lovely terrace area, a separate dining area and a general nice atmosphere. They even have a box of blankets for a chilly evening and bike stands in the pub grounds. The menu seemed great too - all the options sounded really good and it was hard to choose what to order. Unfortunately the food let it down; for the standard of the pub and the price I was expecting a lot better. Wine was also very expensive. Pity.

A firm favourite pub to visit, I have been coming here occasionally with my fiancée and we are always welcomed by the friendly staff. The menu has a balanced selection of meat and vegetarian meals alike and are presented well. The interior and exterior is cosy, clean and well presented and there seems to always be a lovely atmosphere. Glad we walked in! We've been walking passed this place everytime we cycle around Richmond Park. We had the brunch menu. Everything was well presented. Place itself is really nice and clean. This is a nice gastropub, with different areas, more cosy, terrace, restaurant. Service I good and friendly. We had burgers and they were very good, but the curly fries and the fried sweet potatoes were delicious! There is parking outside, that makes it very convenient. They are pet friendly, and provide cookies and water plates for the dogs for free.

The Kings Head recently opened its doors and is potentially a great venue for an area very much in need of investment. Unfortunately the environment is the best boast for this pub/restaurant with the food average and the service particularly lacking. The review is based over visiting the pub on three occasions and thus far it shows no sign of being the "destination" I had hoped for. My comments were fed back to the GM and so I hope service will improve (as it needs to) and that the kitchen give the extra 10% the food requires. I'd suggest giving it a go, but only if the The Brown Dog and Red Lion pubs in Barnes are booked up!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Matt, who was awesome, very knowledgable and fast. He recommended 3 dishes for a coeliac/Gluten free diet and also for vegetarian and vegan all from the days menu. He was patient as we decided what we wanted. The food also arrived promptly considering it’s a bank holiday weekend. After choosing the Gluten free oven baked fish and chips I fell in love with the balance of flavours and even the mushy peas which usually I’m not a fan of. Will 100% return as it’s only 10 minutes down the road from Putney Heath and a15-20 minute walk from Richmond Park. Great service, great food and a wicked atmosphere. Thank you chef.
