Cozy space, good service and they let you relax with a drink :) Good space!

We had an evening meal while staying locally. Good food- enjoyed my steak. Friendly service, no kids menu when we visited, but staff were happy to accommodate splitting a main mean in two for the kids to share.

We visited the restaurant again after two years and twice in two days. Yesterday evening and today for lunch. On both occasions we were pleased with the food, drinks and the very friendly staff especially at today's lunch. We are glad that the restaurant survived the pandemic and we were able to return to it as well as London.

Slightly cosier than your standard city boozer (in a a comfortable way rather than saying it's small). Maybe I've been unlucky but the real ale never seems to be on when I'm there? Food is good and there's plenty of seating inside which is becoming rarer for pubs in town.

Beware of those who say England can offer you only Fish&Chips - Leman Street Tavern proves the contrary with delicious British specialities in welcoming pub-like tavern atmosphere that makes everything more authentic. I think I will never forget the crunchyness of that pork belly... definitely worth a visit.

I like this place. It's comfortable well laid out adequate numbers of staff so that you can be served during busy periods and a good place to watch Rugby (six nations). You see families and young professionlas here.the food is also good standard pub grub.

The Leman Street tavern is very nice. I went there to meet a friend and had never herd of it. However the inside is very cosy, the music isn't very loud at all, there seems to be decent food (I didn't eat though) and a good selection of beers that they rotate. There is a lot to like here as its also quite a sizeable place so could be good for office parties.

Amazing food! I spoke with the chef and he told me the food is fresh and the Seabass I had had just come that morning! We finish with the waffle and ice cream as dessert! Huum, amazing! We'll definitely come back on their Waffle Saturday Brunch! We also enjoyed playing with the collection of board games they have! A perfect spot for a date in Ald Gate, just in the Goodmansfields court! Very charming!

The only real options if you work in the Algate East area. Yes! There are other options, but they are either moulding vestiges of times past or plain old boring and expensive because of the post code (or both of those). Leman St. Is neithe od the above. Itnis however:, welcoming place with good food and reasonably priced drinks. The mood is set by great decour and equally great music. Overall the only place I'd go for a drink within a milr radius!! Tl;DR - good for drinks, work events or one drink!

Ordered the house special Mixed Grill, the portion is ginormous so you definitely get your money worth, I would order for 2 to share. Also, they easily exchanged fries for salad, which was delicious. However, the meats are on the dry side, the sausage is super bland, also a BIG temperature difference between parts. The pork rib meat was probably the best, liver also surprisingly nicely seasoned. Overall, felt like a TGIfridays type of of dish, but in a way nicer setting!

great place, very good service. Lovely terrace. the only downside is guys don't have Guinness, calamari or onion rings. I consider these a 'must have' in every pub. Otherwise bar has quite a good selection.

Nice place, plenty of seating, impressive food menu. Great selection of beers and ciders, circuited around an oval bar. You pay a bit of a premium for that though, with the average pint closer to £6 than £5. As a result, it's somewhere that I'd go on occasion, rather than with any frequency.

Menu is quite average and the food fairly expensive for what it is. It is in general not very busy with new places having opened in the area lately. Staff is sometimes a tad rude and slow. Had to argue once over not wanting to pay for a cappuccino that should be described as water with some white liquid (after waiting for 30 minutes to get it served). It is a shame really, as their location is great and the atmosphere and interior are lovely.

Great pub for watching sport. It's not massive and it's best to book ahead to reserve tables if you are a big group. It remains a hidden gem so on big national sports days it's a great option for a not too crowded bar. The drinks are reasonable and they do s burger and pint deal.

Pretty new restaurant/pub, vintage look and really friendly staff (A waitress speaks Dutch!)! The food is normal-priced and is served very quickly. The menu varies from a cheeseburger or salad to cod filet with all kinds of sauces. I really recommend it!

If I tried both bar and restaurant, and if I visited this place in different days and times, I would give it 5 stars. Since I only experienced the Sunday dinner (twice!), I can't speak for the rest. But the contemporary cozy atmosphere, the clean environment (also in the bathrooms and the kitchen which is visible to the guests through the glass), the posters, the upholstered furniture next to the fireplace, the glass bottles lampshades on the bar, everything speak for themselves. The service is polite and fast. The food follows my favourite cooking rule: not many ingredients, but high quality and in original pairing, and still taking inspiration from traditional English cuisine. The only thing I don't like is the menu is too short, but that might be the Sunday night case only. Nonetheless, you'll find that one dish that satisfies your taste!

Went here for a birthday party, with a private area booked out by friends. Quite a large number of people came and my friends had money behind the bar for drinks and food. During the party the fire alarm went off at least 5 times which causes some disruption. I overheard one of the staff complaining in a fairly aggressive tone to the organiser about how "unacceptable" it was that one of the forks we were provided with was bent out of shape and that this was going to be charged to the bill. I felt that this was quite an overreaction considering the amount that was being spent on the occasion, which would have vastly outweighed the cost of a single fork. The approach by the staff during the event also dampened the spirits of the occasion and causes unnecessary stress to the organiser who was already trying to ensure all the guests were enjoying themselves. Will not be advising anybody to use this venue for an event in the future.

Brash bar/restaurant. Incredibly loud music drove us outside to sit in the cold with the smokers (they do have heaters). Got approached by a stream of beggers, people selling cigarettes, drunk office workers. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits but you are paying City prices. Friendly fast service but the noise levels mean it's not for me.
