Great experience with bar tenders who enjoy their craft. Cocktails are not cheap but this place is worth the journey . Great music and lighting. Forget all and drink ...just for tonight.

Nikita and helper were great host ! Really appreciate their honest and warmth behaviour! Came here 5years ago for many times and again today - still these great vibe and excellent cocktails ! thank you!
R. P. (.
Had a great hen night party here.....with drag bingo.
Bar prices quite steep - but its a nightclub in London so to be expected I suppose.

I'd have to say one of the best cocktail bars in London, a must visit bar! Amazing cocktails, different from the usual cocktail bar. Great venue in the speakeasy style, the staff is highly experienced and very friendly!
A.
Nice place, good atmosphere but 18 pounds for 2 glasses of wine I think is a bit too much....
C. W.
Visited for a Club Soda Behind the Looking Glass alcohol free cocktail event and loved the sober vibe, the delicious drinks and the Alice theme. Would love to see more of this... I know a speakeasy without booze sounds like a contradiction but it is an ace combination! 👸🏼♥️

Fantastic venue through the door. Friend recently held a 30th here and they ensured the night went fantastic the whole way through. Great array of different drinks and cocktails to keep all customers happy
A. S.
Lovely staff: very friendly and appreciated. Great range of drinks, some surprisingly pleasant, others less so (fickle millennials ugh). Interesting decor. Nicely spaced out. Dont rate the music though.
S. T.
Great night through the looking glass, felt very VIP at a friend’s wedding reception. The team were friendly, the food and drinks were excellent - well worth a visit
N. V. S.
Great bar, great drinks, staff know their stuff! Wednesdays session 58 is a special open mic type night with a house band. It’s a treat!
A. B.
Offensively loud music, and the mirror is cool but the “secret” part is exactly the same as the non-secret part which was disappointing. Drinks nice and original though.
J. P.
They make cocktails off the menu but the ones on the menu are cool too. The bartender went above and beyond expectations in terms of creativity and improvement for cocktails off the menu.

PASSED THE VIBE CHECK ✅
Cool place with music depending on event. We went to a Amapiano event. Super friendly staff and good drinks.
A. E.
I went off menu and ordered a Pisco sour. It was mixed with ABA Pisco. It was a decent Pisco sour.
It was fairly busy for a Thursday night. An event was going on in the backroom. Stuff was attentive and managed to get us a table for 6 at rush hour.
Not the type of place I would normally go but a decent place for a post work cocktail on the city
N. A. (.
Been here before and enjoyed it as only slight criticism is a lack of mocktails which would be nice to have more variety
D.
Awesome cocktails, staff are very knowledgeable and sound
C. R.
Nice small bar with a quirky door into another area. Tasty cocktails
Y. K.
Always love there cocktails here and there atmosphere!

Located just down Hackney Road (Shoreditch / Hoxton way) lies The Looking Glass Cocktail Club, a hidden gem slightly off the busy buzz of Shoreditch.
What a lovely venue – as you go in there is a small and cosy bar area but through the Alice in Wonderland “secret door” (who doesn’t love a secret door?!) there is a much larger space with tables and sofas. Definitely a speakeasy feel but more spacious then other competitor bars, not as dark (so you can actually see things), friendly staff and more of a fun feel to the bar.
Popcorn (refillable!) accompanies the cocktails which are inspired by connecting the story of cocktails and music from all different eras. We had:
Era: 1900 COTTON BLUES : EL Jimador Reposado, Mezcal, cocoa nibs and coffee bean infused sweet vermouth, Tentura, Peychaud’s bitters & tobacco liqueur spray. Full bodied flavour.
Era: 1960 ONLY FOOLS: Aba Pisco, Ancho Reyes Verde, Cointreau, homemade banana & peanut liqueur with strawberry conserve, lime juice and egg white.
B & W: Jamaican rum, Aluna coconut rum, homemade smoked hemp seed syrup, Tentura, Galliano and fresh lime juice.
Era: 1985 STAYIN’ ALIVE : El Gobernador Pisco, homemade floral liqueur, Cynar with a touch of lemon juice. Topped with prosecco.
We particularly loved the B&W served in a tiki cup and Stayin’ Alive which came with gorgeous sparkles. The Looking Glass Cocktail Club have DJs playing later in the evening – perfect for catch up with friends and definitely for a date night.

Always fun here! Lovely staff and great music
C. B.
Really nice drinks and staff, the club is cool too
T. O. J.
Drinks start at about £9! But very cool intimate space with great customer service. The image shows where event nights are held.

This bar is amazing and super original! I celebrated my birthday there last Saturday. The staff members were so friendly and professional; initially our table was situated at the entrance of the bar and eventually they let us go into the other room at the other side of the mirror, where we had more space.
A friend of mine was very drunk, and, whereas in other bars they would have kicked him out, the bar staff politely asked him to get some fresh air and kept bringing him water.
They were so friendly about it and did not make a fuss about it; I really appreciated that.
Recommend this bar, such a fun night out and the interior design looks absolutely amazing!
Thanks Looking Glass Cocktail Club!
T. B.
Great cocktails see you on the other side of the mirror 👏🏻🍹
M. C.
Really cool. Staff is friendly. Cocktails are good, I would only improve their presentation
C. R.
Amazing. Secret club when you go through a mirror. The bar staff were so friendly and really enthusiastic and passionate about the drinks they were making. They even sat down and explained the influences and procedure when bringing the drinks to our tables. Highly recommend. Small and intimate with rum lighting - really cool. Loved it
D. R.
Nice vibe, nice venue, great cocktails, friendly service though sometimes you have to wait quite a while to see a waiter. The app doesn't list many cocktails so it's mostly waiter service for that.
M. G.
Probably one of the best cocktail bar in London! Excellent service, amazing atmosphere, and really good drinks!! I recommend this place to anyone who like to relax with a good cup! Very interesting is the extensive menu which includes cocktails for all tastes! Detail of great importance are all the homemade syrups, bitter and liqueurs. Great choice of rum and whiskey to.
S. O.
It's a nice little club if you're having a small gathering of Friends. Was a bit surprised about being charged service charge for drinks. When there is a lot of people the AC cannot handle the body heat. We ask staff to open the emergency doors but they declined. I say again if you're starting your night good place to go to.
N. U.
Went for a mates birthday and we booked the room out back. The music was quite loud to talk over at 8/9PM and the whole bar service to the table thing didn't work with the number of people we had (10+) as drinks were forgotten.
The aesthetic was fun and I liked the idea.
D. D.
Visited for the first time in a private work party last Tuesday.
Two smart trendy chaps were on the bar and efficient and helpful. One chap recommended a drink to me and everytime i looked over to him at the bar he nodded knowingly and served me up another! Now that’s service. I could drink there all night 😁 thanks guys. Recommended.

Great spot. The East West Merchandise is a personal favourite as it warmly reminds me of my student days eating 2 minute noodles like it was going out of fashion. The flavours are uncanny.
Following this, the the Mural of life is a second favourite, but not to drink, to watch people drink, as their contorted face as they suffer the indignities of what is in their glass makes my night that much more special. 5 stars.
L. K.
My friend and I booked a table on a busy Friday night.. (contact via email was prompt and friendly). We were warmly welcomed on the night and able to choose exactly where we wanted to sit.
Complementary popcorn flowed as the super nice staff helped us select our (delicious) cocktails (The b&w, the dreamer and the beat match - recommend all 3!)
Music was pretty loud but they turned the speaker away from where we sat on the sofas where we felt like we were at home! We had a dance before leaving and a complementary frangelico shot.
Staff were incredible, drinks were delicious ... highly recommend!
M. E.
The back room bar and dance floor is through a hidden mirror in the main bar. I was greeted by a beautiful girl in a basque and masquerade mask with a cat o' nine tails and whipped on my way through! It was a quirky little mood setter lol.
The back bar was where the private party easy held the DJ was belting some very good tunes. Bar service fast and throwing food was very good and served by good waiting staff. A good experience!
A. D.
Visually really nice bar and nice staff. Unfortunately it was so busy it took ages to get served (as you'd expect in a cocktail bar) but several groups booked areas for 20+ and got two sofas.
On an unrelated note, they only have one (unisex) toilet which creates queuing
L. M.
The Looking Glass Cocktail Club is a lush spot for all occasions. Whether you're looking for a pre-party cocktail, or an evening hideaway to dance all night long - the aura of this place and the people will be sure to make it a night to remember.
M. C.
Been here twice, once the bar staff seemed a little overwhelmed and the second had an incredibly loud music volume for a near empty bar, which means something from the kind of person who attends a lot of electronic music shows.
That being said, the drinks are well made and the decor is whimsically pleasing.
H. S.
This little (though not so little when you enter the mirror) place was a great find. We ventured in purely to see what the 'hype' was about. Our bartender was highly knowledgeable and knew his stuff on the subject of rum (my kinda man!) whipping us up a selection of both on and off the menu cocktails. All came well presented and with lashings of well balanced booze (my kinda cocktail!) There is live music and events daily and I would highly recommend as a great place for a few drinks pre/post dinner. Make sure you have a chat with the guys behind the bar before ordering they really shine and are more than happy to make you your perfect tipple.
J. H.
Love this quirky place. Bouncer on the door was friendly and funny. Bar staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Walk through the mirror to find a hidden club in the back room. Really cool spot to spend a night out in Shoreditch...
S. H.
Amazing venue that extends into a mystical speak easy type room through a huge mirror. Amazing staff and even better cocktails with lots of drama involved in each one. Would definitely recommend stepping in through the looking glass and working your way through the cocktail list. The Cheshire cat was a particular favourite of mine.
l. k.
every evening spent there was amazing. Lot of love and passion put behind the menu, great atmosphere and lovely staff! Take time to share with them, they are really skilled and passionate!
S. D.
The bar staff here couldn't have been nicer and we absolutely loved our drinks off the short, inventive menu - a Looking Glass Fizz, a concoction of gin, cucumber and edible flowers, and a fizzy, lemony one whose name escapes me. Not bad for £7.50 each.
From the outside, the large glass windows make it look like this bar is just the one small room - but go inside and through the looking glass and there's a much larger room with cosy sofas, DJ etc. We went late on a Friday - it managed to be both full but surprisingly calm - definitely one to remember for when I'm here again.
T. M.
Nice cocktails and a really well thought menu. Not a lot of atmosphere/vibe as other cocktail clubs in London. If you're in Shoreditch it's good, I wouldn't go just for it
E. G.
A nice small bar which opens up to a bigger space through their glass mirror door. Pricey drinks but a cool venue to hire or chill at. I DJ'd here for a private event in the big room decent speakers but nothing of a club standard.
A. O.
Really cute spot! Visited for a party, guests walked through a large glass mirror which lead to a dim lit seated bar at the back. Drinks are well presented and not over priced nor inexpensive.
Would definitely visit again
A. D. (.
Very quirky Alice in wonderland themed bar. Came here for a networking event had a blast sampling the amazing cocktails. The bar staff were great in expertly creating the cocktails with really flair for the craft. There cocktails are mainly wishey based but still make a good G&T.
H. J. S.
Popped into this hidden gem during #LondonCocktailWeek and couldn't believe we hadn't visited before. London is not short of venues with secret entrances to hidden bars but this one has a much bigger back room behind a huge mirror and this area can be reserved for groups.
The cocktails here range from about £8-12 and are well made by friendly bar staff who are happy to chat about ingredients and spirits. Lots of unusual drinks mean that several visits will be in order so we can sample them all!
An excellent choice if you fancy somewhere a few steps away from the usual bustling Shoreditch bars.
T. R.
Cool little bar in Shoreditch, good selection of drinks, including a cocktail menu. It getting busy in peak times, but not quite as busy as some of the less nice place on Kingsland Road, so well worth a small de-tour.
G. C.
This speakeasy is a great addition to the area. The decor is simple and fitting and for a nice surprise, look for the giant mirror. There is a large range of great tasting cocktails. Great for chilled catchups during the week and quite lively during the weekend.
S. C.
This spot is serving up some of the better cocktails you'll be able to find. Really knowledgeable bar stuff and they can whip up some really creative spins on the classics if you let them. Could use an extra head behind the bar to help speed up the service during busier times but its always worth the wait.
K. N.
The entrance to the bar is literally through the looking glass. Fun and friendly staff, nice digs, great place to chill out for a drink or two. The drinks are average at best. Stay for the atmosphere and go elsewhere for the cocktails.
P. F.
Amazing speakeasy bar , it's the third time i go there and i always had different experience, these guys know how to introduce you to the world of cocktails. really nice vibes!
I don't understand the bad review about this cocktail bar, i recommend this place to everybody!
B. A.
There are plenty of places where you can get a decent cocktail in London but there are only a handful where you can get a really great one! Boasting a varied, inventive menu and expert mixers who will only be too glad to suggest what you should drink next, Looking Glass is easily one of the best places to grab a cocktail in London. Add to the that the great decor and the relaxed vibe, augmented by some nice live music on Thursdays and you can't really get much better. And if you want a drinking tip, Farewell to Joe is a great one to settle into!
N. B.
Great place for Monday night music session. Session 58 with Nate James - who can sing!
Great live band. Original material not covers or a jam. Hosted by Helena, who's a laugh!
A. C.
Impeccable service! The barmans and manager were very friendly, polite, just perfect. We had a great time, definitely recommending this bar for your venues!
H.
Beautiful setting great drinks 10 pound minimum on card , open mic friendly bar staff cant ask for much more. Walk through the looking glass
K. S.
Really cute spot! Visited for a party along with my friends and found the atmosphere really good. One of my favourite cocktail bar in London. Cocktail prices are high though
S. W.
Cool place, nice ambience, nice bar tenders and nice to have candles and a paddle weilding hostess is always good. Very reasonably priced drinks but the drinks for the most part taste awful :D they are really interesting concepts and strong but...blerkhhhh :D maybe I'm too provincial!
B. D. P. B.
Looking Glass Cocktail Club is by far my favourite bar in Shoreditch for 3 reasons: 1. A great speakeasy atmosphere in the front room and through the mirror (yes through the looking glass, guarded by an in-house dominatrix), depending on the day, there is live music, burlesque shows or general dancing and merriment to various DJ’s. 2. Delectable seasonal cocktails, created by the bar's very own Heston of the drinking world and 3. attentive staff - the bartenders can make anything the palate desires, they are friendly, informative and get to know their customers. The Looking Glass Cocktail Club is the perfect adult Wonderland. I liked it so much I even organised our office Xmas party there last year and they even manged to provide catering for all 190 of us!
J. A.
Easily the best bar in Shoreditch for those that want some cool music, great drinks, a really friendly vibe where you can just talk to anyone (I've done it!) and friendly staff that make you feel at home. A real gem of a place in London with a secret back room where you enter via a wall made of a mirror. Great place for parties and the music isn't too loud that you end up screaming at the person next to you.
S. S.
I had a party down the rabbit hole and I couldn't recommend it enough.
All of the staff are lovely and made it such an enjoyable evening. Delicious cocktails, good happy hour deals, a lovely garden and a good sound system.
Get booking
C. H.
relaxed speakeasy vibe with just the right amount of edge to it. it's nice to go somewhere which offers cocktails you wont find on any other menu. i've enjoyed the front room for a pre-dinner drink and the back room (behind the looking glass) when its in late night full swing. its worth checking out to see which vibe suits you.
A. C.
What a night.....Gingers bingo is an absolute must.....we haven't laughed so much in years 😂🤣😂
E. K.
Great place, great cocktails, amazing staff - worth checking out
R. C.
Lovely cocktails really nice place.
A. J.
Great cocktails, however they exceeded the capacity the night we were there (even though we had booked and area for 30 people) and we were given 3 small tables to stand around. Was a nightmare trying to even have a sip of your drink.
K.
Classy and intimate venue, cocktails were great and bartenders were knowledgeable. Unfortunately quite pricey and the location of the place is not great. Many better cocktail places around.
J. M.
Delicious cocktails and daily happy hours. The Lychee Bellinis are highly addictive! It's not a very big bar so best to get there early if you want a table.
N. P.
Cute little place for nice cocktails or a glass of wine. Also great live music nights on occasionally. Great for a place Togo with friends or an intimate date.
J. C.
I had my birthday party in the basement of White Rabbit. It was absolutely amazing: perfect venue, really attentive, friendly and accommodating staff, amazing cocktails and sound system.
I cannot recommend it highly enough!

H. K.
Really chill place. Fantastic service. Wish they had a more extensive cocktail list featuring more classics
m. t.
Awesome! The pub is beautiful and the staff always very helpful, supportive and very welcoming! Cocktails are excellent! Ask for Deborah is very strong, the number one!
R. D.
Cool place, lovely music. Expensive drinks
P. R.
I celebrated my 30's at the basement of The White Rabbit and I couldn't be happier. The staff was lovely and really helpful and they helped a lot in making the night a one to remember!
Whether you want to have a drink or hire the space for a private party, The White Rabbit is the one you should choose.
S. G.
It was a jam-packed Saturday night but none of the team seemed phased. The entire team were having fun and the atmosphere was phenomenal. I recommend sitting at the bar to witness the magic and allowing the bar team to entertained you!
R. D.
If you like cocktails then this place is for you! They are tasty and well made by experienced barman but the cocktails are all tiny and overpriced
A.
Best cocktails in town, nice bartenders and original atmosphere! So far it's my favourite cocktail bar in London.
L. J.
It's a nice small place but the prices being higher than others in the area and that they won't take a card payment for less than £10 meant I had to buy two over priced drinks instead of one...
Not a lean customer experience
j.
This little bar makes awesome cocktails and creat a great atmosphere. All of a sudden is the big mirror, which you can't overlook in the bar. What you are going to finde behind this trinket is juste amazing.
G. L. P.
The White Rabbit hit me with a sucker punch. I only meant to pop in for one. Somewhere between the fourth and fifth I remembered this as I basked in the warm, red, eccentric strangeness of it all. By then it didn't seem to matter.
There was a lady in a turtleneck behind us playing music that ranged from Oompa band R&B to what sounded like the boss level of Super Mario. My eyes were struggling to pin down a discernible theme to the eccentric decor. I was drinking the White Rabbit Ice Tea, or was it a ginger daiquiri, delivered through busy throngs by Clockwork Orange waitresses. I wandered into a garden with miniature Victorian street lights and felt like a GIANT. A delicious pizza appeared, seemingly made by the talented neighbours at Il Bacio Express (90 Church Street).
So, to demystify, White Rabbit is a cocktail bar & night club (cocktail club!) in Stoke Newington. It has 2 floors: the ground holds the cocktail bar and downstairs is the basement club: Down The Rabbit Hole. There's usually something going on down there, from life drawing to exhibitions to gigs to club nights. The garden's out the back, which you can't see from the street, which makes a lovely respite when the weather befits.
What's more you can hire the bar, basement or garden for a shindig with a difference. If you're looking to disappear for a few hours and come out feeling enlightened I thoroughly recommend a trip down the Rabbit Hole.
D. D. T.
Definitely one of my favorite bar in London. The cocktails are amazing and the atmosphere is incredible. Don't forget to go behind the mirror if you go there
C. S.
This bar it's amazing! Excellent cocktails and very friendly and skilled staff! Take a look!I'm definitely going back!
C. P.
Pretty nice Speakeasy, they are not precious about the hidden bar, which is nice. Cocktails do not disappoint and staff is absolutely lovely. Do check it out.
A. M.
A fan! Nice ambience, nice people, good service and good drinks. This is a great Shoreditch/Hackney bar without the attitude that goes with so many. Keep it up!
d. c.
I think tath's one of the better place to take an evergreen drink and to spend some times with friends. It's one of a coolest places in London!! I recommend it to all who want spend a good crazy night!!
T. O. C.
Lovely daiquiri. Even better looking at yourself in the mirror
D. V.
Movie inspired cocktails in a very hip venue. Try to guess the movie each cocktail is named after - some are very hard yet still superb.
E. B.
Wonderful cocktail drinks and nice live music. There are some jam sessions where you can play some instruments if you want .
S. B. B.
Very good cocktail and the presentation of them is gorgeous!! The barman Marco was very good and he Mede the perfect cocktails !
D. W.
Good selection of drinks and a decent atmosphere. As you’d expect from this area, drinks are not the cheapest and it’s a little bit of a novelty.
R. M.
Expensive for not particularly interesting cocktails, but nice atmosphere and bar staff
c. g.
loads of fun, lots of great cocktails and really great music. Mainly house, funk and soul. the back room through thr giant mirror is where it is at!

O. B.
Interesting and tasty cocktails, but the place lacks a bit of atmosphere and the music can be deafening!
G. H.
Interesting little bar on the edges of Shoerditch and so a little quieter (which was nice). Open late, nice cocktails and good service.
S. C.
