A. M.Good hostel, good staff. Rooms are affordable and good cleaning. There are just 2 issues that they need to improve: there's no laundry facilities in the hostel and the water in the bathrooms oscillates the temperature, so what was supposed to be a 10min shower is actually 20 because you need to stop taking shower after the temperature changes from hot/warm to cold and really cold. Besides these 2 details, really good hostel.

J.Very good bar for drinks and friendly staff the beds are nice and the rooms are very spacious the bathrooms are up to high standards I was very surprised to the point where I think I spent most of my time in there lol. Also they have pool competitions and the regulars make you feel like you've always known them. So 5 stars from me 👍🏾🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵

V. G.For what we spend we should complain less and appreciate more, I don't think there is a cleaning issue, keep clean it's something individual and it is common responsability. What's the point if someone whit no respect make dirty after few second that someone alse have clean? And is not just becouse we pay we are allowed do that, that's the most wrong think we can do. Receptionist have always been amazing, specially Francesco, an Italian fella that working efficiently.
w. s.Despite the austerity of the bulding's facade, I found this place to be a rather satisfying haven from the rainy area of Willesden.
This is mainly due to the staff on duty. They are warm, welcoming, kind, dutiful and quickly efficient. I really appreciate this.
The staff at the Island (my local pub) could learn a thing or two about running any kind of pub, let alone a so-called 'gastropub.'
I am enjoying not being at the Island a lot. I have found easier ways to be myself. Avoid gastro anything.
'Pub' is a word that is short for a place called a 'public house.' I think that's where I will go for a drink and a chat in future.

D. r.It's a hostel! And very not like the movies 😌 it's a hostel with bar and entertainment downstairs think of it like living above. The room options very on price (you get what you pay for) but the budget 20 room dorm style share is the cheapest and wasn't as bad as you might think. Lockable storage, PowerPoint for phone charging,bedding included and wash fascinated via share area down stairs. The main thing is between the friendly staff and the CCTV and the locks on doors I felt safe!

D. L.First time in an hostel, and I liked it. To me it seems it was quite clean, maybe not perfect but good anyway. Nice pub open until 2am at night to meet people and have fun. There are lockers in the room, but you have to bring your lock (you can buy one there, 5.5£). Couldn't have asked for a better place, considering the price I paid for. Will go there again.
M. D.It's a nice and quiet hostel. Everyday cleanings. The bed sheets smell fresh. The staff is kind and helpful. In the dorm rooms it's very silent and quiet and you can relax and have a good sleep.
J. S.The staff is what makes this place so good. So friendly and extremely helpful. Always lots of activities on different days too. Free BBQs, pool competitions and the weekends are lit in the bar. Also the cheapest place I could find to stay in the whole of London. Loved every minute that I was there.
M.Great hostel in London, amazing staff, everyday cleaninga, if something happens the you can rely on staff members to communicate it, big beds, big kitchen, BEST HOSTELS BATHROOMS.
The only thing to upgrade it's wi-fi connection in uppers floor.
D. Z.The person working reception was extremely nice and helpful, recommending a place to eat, and even printing out a map with instructions on it. It was strange not to be given a quick tour of the hostel at check in, and there were a lot of unmarked doors. I never found the kitchen (I was only there for one night and didn't look too hard), so I can't say anything about that. The bag storage was too small for my bag (carry-on sized). But you get what you pay for, and this place was cheap. All in all, not bad for the price.

K. W. G.This place has great vibes, and lovely staff. I was only meant to pass through but i enjoyed it so much i stayed 2 weeks! Apart from being the cheapest place in London, it has a great pub setting with super close tube and bus stations. Most of the bathrooms have just been re done along with a few of the dorms. Awesome kitchen and common area- though they need to invest in some more forks! The only negative thing i want to add is some of the beds are super springy and uncomfy.. but hey, for that price you cant expect 5 star comfort! Over all i loved my stay and hope to be back again soon! :)
L. O.The decor in the bar is cool and funky and there's always a friendly atmosphere. All the staff, Amy Luke Paul Andy who work in the bar are fantastically friendly and great company. The cleaning staff, Eleanor, Gianluca and Desire are all very friendly, helpful and keep the rooms and common areas very clean.
The only down side is the music in the bar is very repetitive, it seems to be on the same radio station constantly which can be off putting if you are sitting downstairs.

L. S.Stayed here for 7 days and only were at the hostel for sleeping and watching a football game once. We stayed in a 4 bed room, always had fine roommates and the showers were clean, nothing to complain about.
Nevertheless I have to say there are some strange people wandering around the pub and the hallways, guess that’s due to the location and the price of the rooms. In the area you can eat very cheap and there are several 24/7 food & wine‘s. One night we came back and the hostel was cordoned by the police, heard some disturbing stories from people in the hallway about what had happened, generally you hear police sirens every few minutes running by the street, so maybe not the best place to stay if you easily feel uncomfortable haha

H. P.I've always called it the dive I love because everyone in there is really friendly. My main reason for loving it is because they have pool tables. They also have a dart board for those interested. Downside, cash only and the nearest cash points charge unfortunately. Sainsburys local is about a 6 min walk which has free cash withdrawal.

S.Very nice staff, and the place is ok. Big kitchen but not good utensils for cook. The rooms are ok, except for some dirty guest that are living there with a mountain of garbage and sometimes occupying more than one locker. Bath pretty good. And the wifi sucks! Please buy access points and hire more gb
W. D.What can I say it's the number 8. It's not fancy, it's not clean, it's not cheap. There's no pretty girls, no families with their pet dogs, no food or atmosphere. Having said that, that's exactly why I go here :)
They are primarily a hostel with a pub on the ground floor. As mentioned it's not amazing but when your just looking to get drunk and leave it's fine!!

K. T.Brilliant vibe with friendly staff. The accommodation is comfortable, clean bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Plenty of entertainment through out the week; including pool and darts competitions, karaoke, DJ and plenty of sports on the large TVs.

G. s.I booked a last minute deal from hostelbookers and with just under £6/night in a mix of 4 dorm room that I paid. I can't complain much. I've paid more and worse than No8 Willesden. They have all the things you basically need. The guys are helpful too, just be careful of the stairs- my left foot got sprained bad on a poorly designed stairs. They have small lockers in the room, individual plugs. I got my self a small scented candle from nearby b&m garden shop to improve my stay. I'd surely comeback even if I book each and everyday..lol

The bar smells very like chlorine and when you are on the first floor you can hear the music from the bar very clearly.
The stove works only conditionally, but the kitchen is large and mostly clean.
There are 3 refrigerators, but they are occupied by the permanent guests, of which there are quite a few.
1 of 2 showers is broken, but it is clean depending on the time.
The mood is rather muted.
The heating is in some rooms, in others again not.
I would try my luck next time to another hostel.

Die Bar riecht sehr nach Chlor und wenn man im ersten Stock ist, hört man die Musik aus der bar sehr deutlich.
Der Herd funktioniert nur bedingt, aber die Küche ist groß und meist sauber.
Es gibt 3 Kühlschränke, die sind aber von den Dauergästen belegt, von denen es recht viele gibt.
1 von 2 duschen ist defekt, aber die ist je nach Uhrzeit sauber.
Die Stimmung ist eher gedämpft.
Die Heizung geht in manchen Zimmern, in anderen wieder nicht.
Ich würde mein Glück das nächste mal in einen anderen hostel versuchen.
