Lively, cheaper than most and very welcoming. Defo worth a stop on the way home after work. Seating outside too. £5.35 for a pint of Guinness.

It’s a great after work venue with some nice beers (when they are on). Have been in too many times and found they’ve run out of beer. Great staff who are attentive and polite. Bar snacks are good and you can reserve an area behind the bar which is handy. 3 stars coz I couldn’t recommend the place as it’s likely to have run out of beer ??

Great pub with plenty of space inside and even more space outside if the weather permits. There is a great beer selection including some great crafts. Hidden away close to Holborn, this pub is a good choice to avoid the Thursday/Friday crowds!

Historic pub, nice interior, well worth a visit but the Badgers ales, well, had a best bitter but it was just bland and £5.55 a pint. You better walk another 500 meters to see the Cittie of York and have a Samuel Smith beer for £3.40. Still though, the Old Nick is well worth a visit

Amazing service and very yummy bar snacks which were Indian themed when I last visited! Hosted a party there and the staff were extremely helpful, assisting us in the setting up, recommending great food choices and providing impeccable service throughout the night. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I would strongly recommend a visit to Old Nick's.

Nice pub large and well run Usual range of drinks at reasonable prices They also they do food there which when I had it last being some time ago was acceptable - did put me off a bit when asked for bangers and mash they said the mash had not arrived ? Can get busy at times everything clean and tidy there including the toilets which is a plus in my book Worth a visit when in the area They are not open weekends

London pub with lots of wood panels, etched glass and lawyers. Main attraction is the regularly rotated selection of ales from the Badger Brewery in Dorset. Really good well-kept beer. If you are lucky, they'll have Fursty Ferret which I recommend.

Typical London pub. The usual suspects of beers on tap including a selection of Badger Brewery. Light and airy front bar with a couple of nooks and crannies and booths to 'hide' in around the side.

Decent pub. Not the cheapest in the area but compensates for this with the atmosphere of the bar. Usually very busy straight after work on week days but will then thin out as the evening goes on. Bar staff are on the ball and friendly.

Omg !! Come across this little gem of a pub with my mum and dad on our day out , we all had a fantastic meal with mum having the fish and chips which she enjoyed so much , dad having the meat pie and in he’s words was just like he’s mum used to make and me trying the German plate which brought back memories from when I used to work in Germany it was 100% authentic , looks like this will have to be a regular for us as a family and also it was reasonablely priced , it was all so lovely I suggest everyone should try it for outstanding food

One of just a few Hall and Woodhouse pubs in London - others include the Ship and Shovell and St. Stephen's Tavern. All three share some similarities in decor and colour scheme. This one is tucked down a bit of a side street near Holborn tube, and is easily overlooked. It has usually been fairly quiet whenever I've been here. Beer has always been in good condition, so a good place to go if you're a fan of Badger, Tanglefoot et al. Had the Fox Firkin on my most recent visit (a seasonal ale perhaps?) which both me and my friend (who is very discerning when it comes to real ale) thought was very good. Staff were very friendly.

Good pub but they've just put the prices up and changed the cider that they serve. However, apart from that, the barstaff are a good bunch.

You can't go wrong with the Old Nick, it's a typical British pub. I've been there countless times with friends and colleagues, so I definitely recommend it.
