D. T.Lovely people and a lovely place! Staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly.The beer is good if you are a keg person, cask a bit lacking with only London Pride on offer. However, of little consequence as the place shines in other ways! Call by and enjoy.

Classic UK pub with food, outside seating and wide selection of Wine, Beers and spirits.
E. P.Strange atmosphere. Guys behind the bar seemed disinterested, not particularly friendly or helpful. Toilets were some of the worst I've seen in a pub in a long time. Scruffy and in need of a revamp. Shame as it's a great building in a nice village location.

F. n.Had a really great light lunch at this pub today. I didn’t have any cash on me to leave a tip. I will certainly be returning there to rectify this. The staff were all really good and no argument Barry when I asked for a glass of tap water (driving). I recommend the sweet potato chips with anything.

Friendly busy atmosphere, but looking after cask ale is a tricky business and needs training.
1/ first pint of unsettled Pride still looked like a Latte after leaving it for 10 minutes. Returned.
2/ enjoying safer pint of Hop House Lager instead.
Certainly a better atmosphere in here and staff do indeed want to serve well. Have updated to 3*.
Will try again next week.

L. O.Very nice charcuterie board (flavourful and fresh) and amazingly crispy chips! The drinks were pretty standard and with the open space (they do have quite a few comfy sofas) and high ceiling it did get a bit noisy, but overall a very relaxed and comfortable place.

A. R.UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, ignore all previous reviews. From the reviews it’s obvious that the previous owners did not take care of this place to make it welcoming but rest assured this isno longer the case. The new family that have taken over welcome you with a smile as soon as you walk in which wasn’t the case before. The pub itself has now a cosy atmosphere and is very bright.

R. W.We chanced upon this spacious pub on a cold dark night last week. We were looking for somewhere to eat in Chiswick and were quite surprised on arrival from the station at the lack of choice. Luckily we found this gem. A lovely old pub. Food was great. We had steak, a bottle of red wine and a wonderful desert.

On the day of our visit, only one real on, although it advertises itself as a Cask Marrque pub, the staff themselves didn't know what that meant and overall the place itself comes across as a bit soulless
So not a bad pub, just not one worth going out of your way to go to
