S. R.Last August just an empty shell. Now one of the best venues around for miles. With the largest beer garden in New Cross. Outstanding street art that changes almost every week. This is one place you have to try. Foods amazing. Beers are cheap and the atmosphere seconds to none. Love one for the road

A. H.This bar operates out of Venue nightclub’s building, so the aesthetic and space is designed normally for a club. The back yard is now used for tables with picnic benches which at least doubles the inside space, however note the backyard is on quite a slope and therefore a bit awkward to sit at.
Design of the space inside and outside is really nice, great urban feel.
Drinks nothing outstanding: it’s a nightclub bar. Not many options on tap, fair few cans in the fridge and all the standard mixer drinks. However, the prices are reasonable and potentially cheapest in new cross so if that’s important to you it’s great.
It’s hard for me to give it more than 4/5 because new cross is crammed full of pubs on every corner and I won’t lie, there are nicer spaces. However, if you’re a bigger group or haven’t booked anywhere, one for the road may be your only option on a Friday night and I do overall recommend it!
