The ambience was nice and overall all staff were professional. Male staff was helpful and friendly. Large selection of foods in menu. Plain water not offered or given if drinks aren’t ordered. However the Tonkotsu ramen dish was portion wise very well and the bowl itself meant the dish was kept hot - which was bonus as most other Japanese restaurants use the ceramic bowl which loses heat easily. The sushi eel was the highlight, it had the best creamy and delicious texture. Would recommend.

Oh yes, this lived up to expectations. First visit here, lunch service and quite busy. Very friendly welcome from manager who made a table available very quickly. This restaurant has an extensive menu of Japanese food. We ordered from the lunch menu which from a value and quality perspective was excellent. Draught Japanese beer was a bonus. We enjoyed all but the salmon sashimi was a delight, probably tempts us to be more adventurous in the future on more exotic menu items. Staff very attentive and helpful. Toilet available but not used. This is definitely a place to return too.

I have never felt more at home at a restaurant. This place is amazing and I highly recommend you sit down and have an incredible Japanese dish for low to medium prices. I’m so happy I live nextdoor and can visit several times a month.

Wonderful decor with blown glass ornaments and bamboo fixtures. Amazing and a large variety of Japanese food! Ranging from gyoza and sushi and sashimi to rice and noodles. Good variety of sake, Japanese wine, whiskey and other Japanese drinks including mocktails. Really helpful staff. 100% recommended!

The most amazing sushi, freshest salmon I have ever had! Absolutely delicious! We ordered for delivery & the Avocado Hoso Maki was a bit disappointing as the avocado had started to discolour giving it a very unappetising grey hue and the Yaki Sobo was ok. Overall presentation was a bit lacking even taking into account the difficulties of transportation. But that Sushi Sashimi Bento Box was so good that I would definitely order again!

🍀Lucky me lucky day🍀 After visiting my customer in Ealing, I was so hungry and so decided to have a gyoza. @takesushiealing was just 1 min walk from Ealing Common station. When I was seated, I saw ‘Eat Gyoza & Win’ tent card on the table. Lucky me 🍀😍 @takesushiealing had vege & chicken gyoza on the menu. I asked the manager if I could mixed them in one. He was so kind to tailor made this for me. Lucky me x 2 🍀😍 I was given a scratch card and I won a pen 🥰 Lucky me x 3🍀😍 The inside decoration was awesome and the staffs were very nice. Outstanding Japanese restaurant. I've visited twice now. Once to sample the lunch menu which I had a sea food ramen (pictured). It was beautiful, generous portions and arrived very quickly. The value for money was insane and I'll be looking to take advantage of that whenever I'm in need of lunch in the area. This weekend I went and offered off their main menu. We sampled maki rolls, mixed fry, and some of their beautiful Dragon Rolls and the Ta Ke Roll (salmon and cream cheese roll, breaded and fried). It was superb. Again, everything arrived promptly and the staff were super friendly. Worth every penny. There is parking on the main road for 1hour without paying. Both visits I have been less than one hour, so that's been a bonus.

During lockdown got takeaway from Ta Ke Sushi a couple of times and everything was perfect. Visited for in personing dining and couldn't fault the service, seating, atmosphere and quality and freshness of food. We were 2 people and ordered alot of food. Didn't take pics of everything but you can see the freshness of the sashimi. Price came to ~£35pp including the service charge (no alcohol). Will definitely be eating more often and new firm favourite in Ealing when compared a long standing 'competitor' in Haven Green.

I have been to this place probably 3 times in the space of 1 month (that just shows how much I like this place). There is a lot of variety in the menu so you can definitely find something to fill your hunger. Went on a very busy Friday night as one of a group of six . A beautiful mobile of tinted glass fish shapes adorned the ceiling with the perfect lighting to set it off. It felt like a mini Sexy Fish (a la Berkely Square)in Ealing. Service started off not so great with what I would put down as teething problems. However we worked with the staff who were a little nervous and put them at ease. Ta Ke Sushi is a no brainer if you a partial to Japanese cuisine. The prices are fantastically reasonable too. We all went for Bento boxes as mains. My recommendation would be the Sashimi Tempura Teriyaki Bento.Its like the entire menu represented in a Bento and loads of it ! #cuerevue

Good Japanese diner experience. Nice bright and open inside, with friendly and speedy service. They have a lunch time menu that has lots of deals and discounts, as well as the larger a la carte menu. Every dish we had was good, nicely made and well presented, though there was nothing really outstanding about it. But that is fine considering the casual atmosphere and modest prices. It’s hard to find good affordable Japanese in london, especially in less central areas. I absolutely loved the vibe here on the weekend. Had a huge bento with miso and tea for 15£ total. I asked if the picture in the menu was exactly how it comes, but it didn’t come with seaweed salad as picture. The manager was incredibly nice and added the salad without any problem. Maki seemed great too - will have them next time for sure!

My wife and I ate here on a whim, as a last minute dinner plan and it’s safe to say that we will come back again … and again! The food was delicious, high quality and packed full of flavour. Our favourite dishes were the Dragon roll, Cha Cha roll, Phoenix roll, the seafood udon noodles and the excellent Volcano Domburi which was superbly spicy. The service was great and the prices are reasonable. Must visit if you’re in and around the Ealing area.

This place is brilliant - just what the neighbourhood needed. Fantastic food and interior setting, really comfortable and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The local area lacks any decent restaurants, has lots of take aways and cafes but nowhere you can sit in and get a great dining experience - they've nailed the Covid measures too with temp sense, sanitising, distancing and open air doors. Welcome to the area Ta Ke Sushi, see you regularly!

This place has great potential but there is definitely room for improvement (expected as only recently opened). Communication between the waiters and chefs needs to be rethought - two of our mains were missed and so we waited 45 mins. Bringing out incorrect dishes has also happened with friends who’ve been there. Ambience - some traditional music would go a long way! Food - very tasty and authentic.

2nd visit to Ta Ke sushi. 1st visit was served by knowledgeable and professional Japanese staff and had a pleasant experience. 2nd visit was a huge disappointment, was served by other staff members who didn’t know their own menu, was answering phone call whilst taking orders and inattentive to customers. Staff also allowed customers to smoke right in front of the restaurant whilst all front doors were wide open and didn’t consider about the customers that were still eating... The restaurant must train the staff more appropriately..

Now unfortunately closed. Will still be a pub/bar (under new ownership), but the refurbishment work still hasn't started as of 21/8/19, so may be some time This is a gem. Food is usually great quality and the service is always excellent The cocktails are great and you should talk to the staff, who are willing to adjust what you have ordered. Also, they know their stuff about cocktails and usually make good recommendations about what to have next and next and next.... Music is varied as well. The staff behind the bar create their own play lists and sometimes sitting their is a real trip down memory lane and I don't want to leave. The choice of beers is large and even though I am more of a wine or whiskey drinker, impressive, with some great beers on offer. It is worth noting the wines. The people who own the bar also run a specialist off license. What this means is that the House wine tends to be unusual and very high quality. What they do is move wine from the off-license that is not selling well and use it as the house wine in the bar and this means that the house wine is often, very, very good

Such a lovely place! Went for a friend's birthday. The owner is fantastically accommodating and the cocktails were fabulous and there's a great atmosphere. They also have 2-4-1 until 9pm on Friday and Saturday! I'd definitely recommend going as there aren't many good bars around Ealing.

Large pub that offers offers cocktails happy hour all day Sunday and Thai food. Various offerings of red and white wine. Try the white Spanish spiced beer INEDIT. Plenty of outdoor seating with 3 sports TV screens. There is no out door garden.

The Common Room: it doesn't try to be anything more than it is, but it does what it does just fine. It's a pub, with beers and some ok cocktails, and a big TV, and a built-in Chinese restaurant, and a bench out the front, and it's right near the station, and it's not Jono's. That's all you need to know.
