Loved my stay here! The staff are SO friendly and helpful! Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. This hotel is pet friendly; I loved seeing the dogs in the lobby and restaurant!
I also loved the little brownies they put in the room everyday :)

This is a wonderful boutique hotel, set above a traditional Victorian pub. I used to live in Wandsworth and the Alma (and the Brewer's Inn up the road) both were firm favourites for sports and good beer. I never had cause to try the hotel until I moved away, but very happy to have discovered it and have now stayed here twice. Prices are very reasonable for London, and they have a decent offer on currently where you get 2 nights accommodation with breakfast and dinner on arrival for a very reasonable price. Our room (Tonsley) was large and very comfortable, service was very friendly and laid back (in a good, relaxed way, if you are after pretentious service look elsewhere) and dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. See pictures. Highly recommended, thanks to all the staff.

Lovely room, quiet, comfy bed, had a few problems though. Door lock broken and no hot water being the main ones. The staff member on duty found everything very funny and went into long explanations about why things didn't work as they should, I just needed a solution. Eventually the boiler was re started and I had warm water (still not hot) at night but not the following morning. Housekeeping kindly provided Oat Milk, as requested, rather than dairy in my room, that was a lovely touch but no homemade treat as promised, receptionist also found this funny (it's not a big deal, but seriously, just go and get one for the guest!). If you are Covid concerned, then again expect to be mocked for wearing a mask or standing back. I really hoped to be leaving a glowing review as the room was so lovely, a great size, large bed, Nespresso machine etc., but sadly the service has let this establishment down.

A lovely pub with a really good atmosphere, food good and service very good.

We love the Alma! Booked a table to watch the Rugby as had read the many many good reviews... What a wonderful place. Proper ol London drinkers pub with added elegance and some country charm, these guys have got it just right. Pub atmosphere for getting the pints in and a lovely dining room at the back for a more relaxed vibe. Really very attentive service, great selection of drinks, delicious looking menu and a cracking view of the game. We'll be back soon 🙏🍻💪

Fantastic hotel and very convenient for trains to central London, food excellent staff go above and beyonf.
T. E.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Fantastic staff, great service and all packaged up in a beautifully decorated room right in the heart of this very special part of South West London.
A. B.
Their Sunday roasts are unbelievable! So tasty, reasonably priced and always a great veggie option as well. The Yorkshire’s are absolutely massive, and the staff are lovely. Couldn’t recommend more!
M. K.
Great pub, large square bar, dark wood interior, craft beer's,good food, outdoor seating can be noisey due to the overground train station.
I. S.
Great Food, atmosphere drink selection
S. H.
Hotel on it's own would be 5 stars. The Alma restaurant however was poor. Key parts of set menu unavailable at 7.30pm. Sticky and grubby table. Food a bit cold and £11 for a glass of wine. Such a shame. Waitress run off her feet.
S. M.
had a family meal after our wedding here and was really pleased with the whole experience. had a table for 12 reserved and we were placed in a really bright and very private corner of the restaurant. food was delicious. service was excellent - friendly, professional and very accommodating. definitely a great spot for a special occasion with a large group.
B. E.
Lovely pub, they always make a big fuss of Max and their scotch egg is a must order!
I.
We went here on a whim and I'm glad we did. From the outside it looks like a normal pub, but one inside the restaurant bit is located at the back.
The restaurant is modern, spacious and very well presented. The menu was really nice and had lots of very appealing options. So many options, we struggled to decided what to have!
The food we ordered was really lovely and well presented (I had the sausage and mash).
The service was also great and the staff very friendly.
I'd really recommended giving this place a go.

Interesting experience. We discovered this restaurant just walking around our hotel when I've checked before asking if children are admitted. Even if we hadn't booked we were able to find a tables available (11persons). We are lucky. The waitress was a funny lady and she speaks Italian too. For a large Italian group with idea to find traditional food (the grandma asked for a big Italian salad) is a good choice. Thanks a lot, we appreciate it. Thanks The Alma.

Great local pub. High ceilings, comfy seats, classic island bar with plenty of choice ales and lagers. Come on Sunday for what really is a fantastic roast. I'd recommend the pork. Currently has a big screen up for the euro cup and the cricket. Great location next to the train station in a nice village atmosphere. And the staff are really welcoming. 5/5 from me.
J. R.
GREAT PUB.
Atmosphere, Beer, Wine, Food and especially the Staff are all excellent. I recommend heading here.
Maybe avoid on Rugby days if you are not looking to watch the ruby but if you like watching rugby in a good pub then I strong recommend going here.
E. E.
A gem for Young's Pubs with a great location opposite Wandsworth Town station. Large pub with a separate dinning room offering a good menu and attentive service at moderate prices (except for the wine list). Typical high end bedrooms next door in the attached hotel too.
B. P.
Went to the Alma for lunch. We had a hamburger that had peanut butter on it, that was surprisingly good £11. I had fish and chips £11 that was just okay. The pub was stylish and elegant, the food a bit pricey but enjoyable. They also had a separate fancy dinning area in the back that had a fuller menu, things other than burgers and fish and chips. I think I want to try that next time!
K. M.
This pub a with bright green tiled exterior is only a few steps from Wandsworth Town station. Inside it has quite a traditional feel but it is well kept and has some attractive unique features. There was rugby playing when I went but it wasn’t too loud or overpowering and people were enjoying their Sunday roasts as it went on. There is a separate bar area and restaurant but the bar area is very nice to be in. There’s also a good selection of drinks and food.
S. M.
Nice pub, showing football, oval bar which is a bit different and separate dining area was nice and light, if a bit cramped. Food was good. The sort of place you go for the full evening.
c. c.
Beautiful room with fantastic amenities in a lovely area. Amazing staff who went out of their way their way to help. Lovely breakfast delivered to the room. Fabulous. Thank you. Would definitely stay again. Five star!
C. H.
We went as a group to watch the RWC final and dined in the restaurant to start the day. Food was fantastic, between us we had the chicken and leek pie, pork belly and sea bass. Service was faultless considering how busy the staff were on this day. A great pub for a catch up with the girls or the boys.
S. H.
I have been coming to this pub from long before it opened the hotel and before the restaurant was given a makeover. It has always been a great pub. The restaurant is good and the hotel is one of the best I've stayed in. Very, very good. The pub isn't quite what it used to be in the 80's and 90's but maybe over playing what was a while ago. Not quite as many yuppies but, hey, that'll change.
H. J.
Lovely staff...amazing breakfast. Rooms are spacious, and the bed is big enough for 5 of me! Complete with mini fridge and biscuits and snacks. Bathroom is huge with lovely fluffy towels. All for a decent price. A combination that is hard to come by in london!!
C. R.
One of my favourite pubs in the area. Good selection of drinks and friendly service. Not eaten there for a while, but food certainly used to be pretty good.
P. T.
Good selection of beers, real ales and spirits in a convenient location. Was busy between 6 & 8 pm then quietened down, although this was a midweek night so not unexpected. Did not try the menu however appears reasonably priced.
J. S.
Major dissapontment, a Youngs pub in Wandsworth, that does not have their "Winter Warmer" or "Special". Reasonable, but pricey food. More gastro than pub.
S. T.
Big pub, right opposite Wandsworth Town railway station. Friendly quick service, good range of beers and delicious-looking (I’d just eaten, so I didn’t try one) sausage rolls.
The Alma can get a bit noisy, especially if the big TVs are showing football or rugby.
T. H.
The staff and atmosphere were nice and friendly, service was prompt for a Saturday lunchtime. It wasn't particularly busy. The full breakfast was somewhat expensive but that could be expected, given the area - could have done with a slice of toast. All round nice pub.
L. S.
I love this pub! It has a great atmosphere all day around, good food and a large selection of beers. Service is always quick and friendly, even on busy days.
A. B.
Went for a quiet bite to eat and drink on a Sunday night. Had a very enjoyable burger although possibly a little expensive. Nonetheless it was a nice, smart and lively venue and friendly, attentive waiting staff, if a little stressed!
T. R.
Nice looking pub but on the pricey side. Crowd is mainly in their 30s. Band was good but usual 90s music. Bouncer quite aggressive in his manner unnecessarily towards other people.
J. M.
The Alma is a marvellous historic Railway Hotel and pub opposite Wandsworth Town Station. It has served customers so well for over a century and continues to do so. It is an excellent pub for the local community, commuters and casual customers. The hotel has been modernised in recent years and the restaurant almost falls into the 'Gastro Pub' category; the food is excellent and the same kitchen provides really super traditional bar food. It's a place to relax after work with mates, watch the footie or rugby with an appreciative crowd or entertain friends to a great dinner. Or... you can just have a drink. This is truly a great English Pub.
D. W.
love this place historical as Youngs were a wandsworth local brewery really friendly and food great well worth a visit have not tried the hotel though
K. Y.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and the rooms large and cozy, and well stocked with bathroom products and teas/coffee. The only grip is we stayed on the ground floor and the doors don't isolate sound too well so we could hear people walk past.
M. R.
Another great pub in Wandsworth, located right outside the rail station this is another must visit. Great circular bar inside which makes access quite easy when busy plus lots of seating space. They show sports on a big projector, mainly football and rugby. The bar food is really good quality and if you want to have a sit down meal they have a restaurant at the back which looks nice.
L. B.
Super great veggie roast on a Sunday. The best in south London I've had so far.
Our main waiter gave fantastic service but the other members of staff left something to be desired as some basic waiting skills were not present.
J. C.
Great old fashioned pub atmosphere. A true rugby pub. Only downside the waitress got my food order wrong so I had to watch everyone else eat first.
a. s.
Very nice pint. Obviously look after the beer lines. Fantastic service.
B. J.
It's a good traditional pub, with a separate restaurant if you want to sit down and eat. It is opposite the train station, so an ideal location if you don't want to venture far or if you want a drink/ food before you travel. Service is good, the staff are polite and effecient.
A. W.
Good honest London pub with a reasonable selection of beers. Pub to the front, restaurant to the rear and an excellent inn upstairs - rooms are good size and well appointed. A good old pub!
E. '.
We had a family celebration here. The food is excellent, the staff are helpful and attentive. London prices but worth it. Thank you to all the team we had a wonderful time.
S. D.
The rooms here are lovely and modern and I had a really quiet room with no noise from outside. Restaurant, bar and breakfast area also really nice. Must more than a pub (which is what it looks from the outside :) )
P. C.
A fine, elegant pub, serving Young's beers. (Pity they've had one of those uniform Young's pub signs trust upon them. It doesn't go with the building).
J. W.
Lovely comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. Would be 5 star if not for the tv issues. Took 30 minutes to get it to work upon arrival, and again the next day, no sound at all. I see this mentioned on many other reviews, so I would recommend having it fixed..
J. k.
The alma is a great pub for watching the football. They're friendly to both sides & the huge tv screen is a bonus. There's always lots of staff on, so waiting at the bar isn't an issue
D. S.
Lovely part of London. Only spent the one night. Room was spacious, clean and well presented. WiFi was fast no issues streaming YouTube vids. Dining facilities were great.
B. B.
Solid lunch spot, big portions. We ordered beef roast and sausages & mash. Nothing exceptional but a solid meal. Well worth a try.
D. D.
Friendly traditional pub, opposite Wandsworth train station. Easy place to find and use as a meet point for friends, or just pop in for a quick pint after work. Young's pub so Lisa of real ale and hearty food, worth a visit ;)
P. E.
Wonderful pub/hotel , quality food with very friendly staff. Hotel is clean and modern with very comftable rooms. Nice area, a stones throw away from train station, getting you into central London in 10 minutes and busses also just outside. Overall a wonderful small pub/hotel, highly recommended.
H. W.
Loved our visit to The Alma, seconds away from Wandsworth Town station. The rooms are beautiful, bathrooms are huge! Staff are super friendly and breakfast is perfect - so many options. Will definitely be visiting again, hopefully soon!
I. T.
Great food and very friendly staff. A busy pub at the front but a quieter dining area at the back.
R. C.
Nice impressive pub right outside the station. Clean and spacious
S. L.
great pub with good selection of beers. friendly staff
J. D.
A pub and restaurant combination. Been to the pub a few times and always good vibes. The restaurant has really good food and service is great. Worth it if you are looking for high quality pub type food
N. B.
Have heard good reviews of the pub and rooms but have not stayed. Met up with friends and ate in the restaurant. Food very good with a great choice. Would certainly recommend a visit.
s. l.
1 did not write the review previously attributed to me. I have never written a review of the Alma but if I had it would have been flattering. I have stayed there, eaten there and merely drunk there. With that experience, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Alma as a pleasant, civilised place to go.
P. M.
We didn't stay overnight, just went for dinner. The food was absolutely yummy! Not usually a fan of polenta but I ate the whole thing. Highly recommend this place!
E. J.
Okay pub because it's close to the station and they show sport but served beer in a warm glass even when it wasn't busy and it's a typical expensive youngs
R. A.
A fantastic pub with a brilliant atmosphere, great ale and good food.
Always lots of events going on, including a quiz every other Tuesday. They do great Sunday roasts too!
A. G.
Great pub, just outside station, so it's a must to stop there on the way home:)
V. H.
One of my favourite proper London pubs. Can’t wait to visit again at the weekend!
L. J.
Lovely traditional pub, good food, good beer and good service.
L. G.
Great evening in the Alma as always. Lovely environment, great drinks & our waitress Analisa was friendly & attentive.
J. R.
Popped in for drinks yesterday afternoon. Place is stunning inside. Didn’t expect that from the outside. Only had 1 drink as we were going for dinner up the road would visit again
C. B.
Great ambience .lovely old fashioned pub serving great Sunday roast
A. G.
Very nice and buzzy pub near wandsworth town. Great gastro pub food. Good atmosphere and somewhat posh crowd. Forgot to mention - make sure to take a mortgage on your house before ordering drinks :) . But food is really good.
P. N.
Great food. If you order the Bread & Butter pudding just make sure you're willing to share it.
E. S.
A fine cozy gastro-pub just a few walks from the train station. I came here with a wheelchair bound friend and quite lucky enough the place was wheel chair accessible. I had Dover sole for main which I truly enjoyed and a box baked camembert as my starter. The staff were attentive and friendly and always ready to assist my friend whenever it was needed.
K. B.
One of my favourite pubs, always a great atmosphere, great selection of beers and the sausage rolls and scotch eggs are worth the visit alone.
J. S.
Went here last weeek for a birthday dinner. There were only two of us but the atmosphere in this place has a great buzz. Food was superb and the staff excellent. What more could you ask for!
C. C.
That little red "people love us" sticker is a rare sighting in the UK so when I spied it on this bustling little Turkish place I couldn't shake it from my head: Must Eat There. After walking for some time on nearby Brick Lane and getting hit up by every barker in front of every Indian eatery the family left the decision in my hands.
D. P.
Great pub, great service, drinks are great and has a lovely little hotel. Easy access to public transport as busses pass by frequently and Wandsworth town train station is opposite the venue.
L. T.
Excellent place. Very convenient location, short hop from Waterloo. Excellent rooms with a good pub below. Good food and a good range of beer.
D. P.
Great pub with easy access to the bar, sausage rolls are a winner and staff are switched on with good, quick and polite service. If you ever get the chance eat at the restaurant which has a fantastic menu and lively atmosphere. Not your standard pub menu!
Great for sports as has a strong rugby and football heritage if you are in the area it is def worth a swing by.
B. N.
Cozy, luxurious rooms, plus a pub and restaurant attached! Breakfast includes an item of the menu, much better than a continental breakfast!
L. C.
All was great, apart from the receptionist, she wasnt very helpful, and she made the check in come across as a chore, missed pre paid breakfast because it starts quite late, when I asked a few questions about the area, receptionist she didnt know the area, which I thought that was daft. Room was great, good location and lovely restaurant.
K. S.
Only had drinks here but very friendly staff, big selection of drinks and reasonable prices... Place is huge and had a nice looking dining area attached too! Plenty of outdoor space as well
M. R.
My family came up from Cornwall and hired five rooms. We stayed here for my brothers wedding in Putney. The rooms were absolutely incredible. With huge baths and nespresso machines. The beds were super comfy. And all my family had a wonderful weekend. Considering they are country bumpkins they felt cosy and well at home in London thanks to the luxury and beauty of the alma hotel.
They have told me if I get married in London they will want to stay in the same hotel!
It’s a Great location as Wandsworth town have cute boutique shops close by. And several coffee shops and restaurants. But on a small scale which isn’t loud or industrial.
D. N.
Nice airy pub, decent beer and service. I visited at 6 on a Tuesday so can't vouch for what it's like at peak times.
E. B.
Nice place, nice rooms at the hotel...
L. P.
Amazing Food! Amazing Staff! The best breakfast I’ve ever had and I would highly recommended a new favourite of mine, The Snickers Tart.
S. S.
Fairly standard pub which is largely taken up by the over-sized bar in the centre of the room. Very conveniently located opposite Wandsworth Town train station should you have time to kill.
B. M.
Our room was stylish and clean, the restaurant was a gorgeous setting for breakfast (and a candlelit dinner), and it was so convenient to be right across from the train station, yet still in a surprisingly quite neighborhood. The only thing that didn't meet our expectations was the horribly flat and floppy matress. It felt like something you'd sleep on in someone's spare bedroom. Not the comfy surface you'd expect from the impeccable surroundings.
J. R.
One of the best fish and chips I had il London, very nice local pub with great atmosphere for rugby
R. B.
Nice food but staff not very well trained in customer sirvice.
J. T.
Good pub for sport. Can get very busy when the Rugby's on. Not the cheapest.
D. R.
Great pub, perfect for the rugby. Great restaurant at the back too.
D. S.
Lovely part of London. Only spent the one night. Room was spacious, clean and well presented. WiFi was fast no issues streaming YouTube vids. Dining facilities were great.
J. R.
One of the best fish and chips I had il London, very nice local pub with great atmosphere for rugby
T. T.
Stayed here on our trip from the USA for 4 nights. Was an awesome hotel! If I ever find my way back to London I will stay here again. The metro is literally 20 feet out the front door. I recommend downloading the App CityMapper, as the guy at the Front Desk suggested. It is the best app for navigating the metro. Will make you look like a Metro pro while having never used the London Metro begore
f.
Nice historic pub frequented by occasionals. Food is decent.
M. A.
Fantastic Pub and just accros the road from Wandsworth Town station. Has good food and great selection of tipples. Has accommodation if needed ;-) Enjoy
A. G.
Great pub, just outside station, so it's a must to stop there on the way home:)
I. T.
Great food and very friendly staff. A busy pub at the front but a quieter dining area at the back.
B. W.
Excellent Sunday lunch. Helpful staff. Thanks
R. W.
What a sight to behold for weary commuters as they pile out of Wandsworth Town station, The Alma is the beating heart of Old York Road. It's a great old pub with excellent Youngs beer and plenty of space out the back for food. On weekdays it's rammed with Wandsworth's beautiful people and on Sunday mornings you'll find couples sitting together in silence reading the papers, it shows you what the local community thinks of this place. A home from home.
D. G. (.
Great venue, friendly staff. The Alma hosted my wedding reception in their private function room and it was on point. Food was excellent.
G.
Decent Gastro pub gets pretty busy as right by the station. Sperate dining room for sitting down for food.
a. w.
This Victorian pub/hotel has just been refurbished and looks great. Nice restaurant, nice bar with sports and hotel with very good rooms. Should suit most types
P. R.
Great food and drink. Limited bar seating but an extensive restaurant. No parking or disabled facilities and toilets are in the basement
A. K.
Good place to drink if a little expensive on prices hardly much seating area most time, but good atmosphere, good big screen to watch sports with an older audience serve food in seperate area
T. W.
A Christmas Day lunch with friends was made very special through the well-chosen seasonal decor and lovely period atmosphere of this family-friendly pub, the good-natured, quick and attentive service by the staff team and the excellent food and wine served up from the in-view kitchen. A first visit but well worth repeating.
B. W.
Some of the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Friendly staff and very nicely laid out pub/restaurant.
M. A.
Fantastic Pub and just accros the road from Wandsworth Town station. Has good food and great selection of tipples. Has accommodation if needed ;-) Enjoy
S. “. I.
A decent pub of an evening but a little expensive.
D. C.
We had a fantastic weekend. Great location, food and beer! Staff were first class too.
K. C.
Great pub. Busy around rugby matches. Lovely food too with seating in the rear.
Z. R.
Outstanding service. Friendly staff. Generous portions and very well presented dishes. Loved it and will be coming back when I am next in this part of a town!
N. S.
This is a marvelous little bed and breakfast/Pub in the Wandsworth neighborhood. Its a separate annex attached to the Alma pub (so not much noise even though right on a busy pub, especially in rugby season). My room (room 7 - garden room) was big, spacious, great patio (which I guess is ten times better in summer). Public transport is really good with the Wandsworth train station right across the street with frequent service to London Waterloo (about 15 minutes). Getting to Gatwick is super easy with the train, a little bit more hassle to get to and from Heathrow. It is a great choice if you need to be in south London, I’m not sure it would be my first choice if this was my first time in London , if you are visiting London as a tourist maybe staying in central London is better.
The restaurant and pub are really good, I highly recommend the steaks which were delicious (if not cheap).
Other than that all personnel were friendly and helpful.
Good chance I’ll be back
M. A.
It's a pub with restaurant at the back. I had grilled fish which was quite nice. Overall a good place to eat.
G. F.
Ok pub, crowded, loud, expensive...has hotel and food in nearby restaurants. Trendy, cliquey...ok for final drink when waiting f train.... but not the go-to place
N. H.
Stop over for wedding weekend and really enjoyed it. Staff v friendly and rooms neat and clean. Like attached pub as well.
f.
Nice historic pub frequented by occasionals. Food is decent.
R. C.
A solid pub selling the great Young's range of beers, a bit upmarket with the snacks being olives or crisps and surprisingly large inside so plenty of seating.
P. L.
Good food, friendly staff. If you're staying, the rooms are simple but excellent. Good Wi-Fi, comfy beds.
J. W.
One of the best pubs in south west London. If not the best. Great beers, bar food, restaurant and atmosphere!
A. W.
Great litte hotel, dining room and pub. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts are varied and high auality
M. B.
Had our work Christmas dinner at The Alma 5th year in the row. I guess that says it all. However, the portions shrank a bit compared to last year and the roasting veg and potatoes were much better last year too
B. W.
Excellent Sunday lunch. Helpful staff. Thanks
T. W.
Food in the restaurant is really good. The pub itself can be pretty rowdy - so it depends if that's what you want.
M. M.
Lavley service food and drink all tasty especially your steak and bone marrow fries definitely come back again even for a hotel stay as well.....
I. K.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere for match days with big screen. Can be a bit slow sometimes getting served as people tend to stand at the bar.
E. V.
Nice place, great style for the bar Good food and a very respectable drink selection. Prompt and pleasant service
M. L.
Good selection of beers but slightly limited seating. Also has a good private function room upstairs.
H. H.
Popped in to the Alma for a bottle of wine after having dinner down the room. Very nice pub close to the station. Not that expensive at all.
P. M.
good atmosphere, good food perhaps a bit pricy, than again caters the the predominantly local middle class
C. O.
Across the road from the train station so can have a quick pint before heading home.
R. W.
Best burger I’ve ever had I reckon
R. G.
Nice place to have a drink after work nice service and fresh beer, I would definitely go there if thirsty and near by. Also right opposite station so very comfortable.
N. E.
Good food but service is a huge let down especially considering the prices... such a shame!
a. c.
Excellent communication links to everwhere we wanted. Requested the more expensive room and were impressed. Communal coutyard for meeting other guests.
N. H.
Good pub especially for big screens for sports. Decent food and selection of ales.
M. B.
Best place for a few pinta and Rugby!
K. W.
Good selection of beer. Close to the station. Wouldn't rush back but was fine for what we were after at the time.
D. L.
Nice pub away to expensive
R. G.
This Pub is basically my local. But I don't go often enough to call it my local. And I should go that often. With more attention paid to the food this is more than your average pub.
T. M.
Super friendly staff, lovely place.
V. K.
Good gastro pub. Decent food and service. A bit pricey for the area
S. M.
Lovely large room, and located directly in front of the Wandsworth station. Clean and the staff is friendly but the WiFi is temperamental as hell though.
M. M.
Certainly one of the better places to have a drink in the area. Restaurant looks pretty decent too and has a nice interior
E. H.
Fantastic meal and drinks at The Alma. Directly next to the station. So easy to get to. Lovely atmosphere inside.
E. S.
Nice atmosphere, good selection of beer. Very nice Sunday lunch options
M. N.
I had a pleasure to visit the restaurant - food was with high quality and personal was nice.
J. F.
Good selection of beers in this famous Wandsworth pub, good atmosphere, good food and friendly staff.
R. P.
The pub is perfect for that last drink before your train home, being right outside Wandsworth Town station. Evenings (esp Friday/Saturday) can get quite crowded and very noisy - more than what is comfortable for just a chat/pint with mates.
M. F.
Nice ambient, great food and drink ;)
C. M.
Great Sunday roast. An old favourite!
Felt safe with COVID precautions.
D. O.
Great setting - excellent beers on tap and decent food (albeit quite pricey)
S. S.

Busy pub, reasonable service. Beer choice limited. Acoustics poor
R. H.
A bit pricey but vibes and good selection of drinks. Great food and good for groups

Great for live sports, especially rugby. The sausage rolls are phenomenal.

Was at a party in the weekend on the first at floor, service was good, was disappointing that the lagar on tap was not working and had to keep going downstairs for a pint.
J. M.
Good venue, we went there for birthday drinks, and was friendly and had a relaxed atmosphere

k. w.
Nice spacious place opposite the station, solid Yongs selection of beers.
T. M.
Great food and separate restaurant area. Good pints!

My fiancee and I have been living in Wandsworth for the past 5 years. Rickey the head chef was excellent. Since he left the menu and consistency of the food has noticeably dropped but the service was remained high. We came in today to have the roast and were really impressed. For the first time in 7 months I really enjoyed my food and finished off the whole meal. When we asked the waitress if there is a new head chef? she told us that head chef wasn't in and it was the sous chef Eli. Just wanted to say thank you for an enjoyable roast.

(Translated) A female staff member who loves Japanese culture, who values friendship, responded in a friendly manner. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the food in the restaurant is very good. Japanese people are happy to have a bathtub as well as a shower. Conveniently close to the station. If you ever go to London, I definitely want to use it.

(Translated) We found this pub very randomly because it was in the same neighborhood as the hotel where we were staying. The first impression was very positive. It is a pub-restaurant with a hotel on it. It is located in a quiet area of London just opposite the train station exit. It is also possible to enter with children. The extremely kind and helpful staff tried in every way to satisfy our needs and those of the children. Among other things, there is a girl who spoke in Italian who was fantastic with us. The delicious food, excellent salads and meat dishes accompanied by excellent bread and oil. I chose a vegetarian dish with quiche, vegetables and potatoes, kids chicken cutlet with chips and classic burger. Ultimately it was a decidedly positive experience.

(Translated) The room was great. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was adequate. We were full. Unfortunately, we had a room next to the outdoor area of the air conditioning was so that you heard the whole night the hum of the area. But apart from that I can recommend the hotel
(Original)
