C. G.Have been here three times for their excellent Sunday lunch and it’s never disappointed . I would hesitate to go anywhere else now.
The staff are all really welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The Sunday lunch is delicious and well portioned. Although on the more expensive end of the pub food spectrum everything on the plate is cooked and seasoned to perfection.
The pub is a lovely comfortable space where I could happily while away a Sunday afternoon playing the board games and sampling their great drinks selection. Lots of lovely beers on tap plus great cocktails and well thought out spirits list.
L. C.Group of four, for the Sunday roast. Once again delicious food, if anything better than the last time we visited, but inattentive staff. This came as a surprise as this has never been the case before, and the pub wasn’t especially busy and had plenty of staff. We had to flag staff down from everything from getting menus to ordering drinks. Hopefully this was a one off.

K. H.Great local pub - the food was really great. Probably the best nachos I’ve ever had. Wonderful mini Yorkshire puddings stuffed with beef, gravy and horseradish. Friendly service. Lovely little backyard that’s sheltered and warm, but it gets very busy/popular. Go early to miss the evening crowds! Can’t wait to return for a Sunday Roast
J. P. R. S.I think it’s probably one of the best pubs I’ve been. The staff is amazing (big shout out to Agatha and Loui) incredibly helpful and nice. The place is spacious with plenty of room for pets, children, families and groups of friends. Got a cosy fireplace, board games, weekly quiz... it’s a place for everybody. The food is also amazing with a selection of modern British dishes, along with typical pub food.

M. B.We hired the private room for 25 people this weekend. The team at the Alpaca were unbelievably helpful getting everything in place and the day went off without a hitch. To top it off the food was so so delicious and everyone was raving about how good the day was. Shout out to Agata, Dillon on the day and Ben and Lucas for their help organising. Will definitely be returning!
c. p. m.Incredible place, remarkable people. The staff were joyful and uplifting, serving sunshine - both metaphorically as well as practically - challenging the bleak winter weather. A roaring fire, soulful music and impeccable lighting (only enhanced by the well-placed and charming candles). I couldn´t help but stay for the ox cheeks with a glass of medium bodied wine (advice given by Louis on pairing was brilliant, the spices could not have gone better together). Cannot wait to return, if just to see Agata with her wit, charm and smile.
