A great pub with a lovely open fire. Staff are just excellent, the new manager is cheery and has a great sense of humour (old one was great too) Simon, always happy and a joy of positivity when you walk in. Food is delicious, menu changes all the time which I like. Great quiz on Sunday evenings too at 6pm.

A most delightful pub, just off Kensington High Street. Pleasant bubbly atmosphere.A lovely cold lager in my hand, great! Looks like four cask ales on offer, plenty of beer for everyone. It would seem this used to be the tap room for the Britannia Brewery. There is a good sized restaurant area to the rear and also a first floor bar accessed via a spiral staircase. A lovely comfortable and stylish place for a beer.

Great little pub recommended by the hotel we stayed at close by. I'm glad they pointed us in this direction - not sure we would've ended up here otherwise. Tucked away off High Street, this place is a pretty solid spot for a meal. Friendly staff popped by the table (instead of ordering at the bar) and provided suggestions on choices. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Pricing was comparable for the area, yet somehow seemed like a bit of steal with the food quality. Overall, this is a pretty great little place.

Went there with friends last weekend. Super happy with the whole experience. We love the Britannia. Everyone is friendly. It's the best pub Sunday Roast we've found in London. Their fish and chips were really nice, and they have delicious appetizers with interesting variations on some of the classics,.e.g. the scotch egg usually has a some twist to the sausage or seasoning. The real ales on cask are always fresh and we've liked their selection of wines. Well worth a trip!

This pub was one of my favourite in the area. Dog friendly and quite accommodating. Having said that, the last couple of visits, the service has gone down a bit. As for the food, the quality is good and good portions. Always love the fish and chips. Perhaps a few more choices with starters would be good.

Average at best. The bar and restaurant both seemed to be really overwhelmed despite the place not being full at all. The service in the restaurant was super slow, a poor table beside us waited for nearly 10 minutes while their food sat on the pass in full view of them. We ordered a ploughman's board (not worth it at all) and two roasts (or flavoursome gumboots as I call them) which were haphazard and tough. A friend recommended I come here, I so wanted it to be better than it was but, it wasn't meant to be. On the small upside my gin and tonic was magnificent...

Nice lil pub, food smells amazing but not eaten here yet as the few times I've been, have been for its more relaxed atmosphere to talk with friends over some nice wine. Food had been tried and not found wanting. Steak was spot on and the chicken pie was properly nice.

The Britannia in Kensington. I'm not sure where to start with my review of this wonderful establishment. I am from Manchester and spend a lot time working in Kensington alone. After a quick google search, I wondered into here. As a lonely Manc in London, I wanted a nice bite to eat and some good food. This place welcomed me a looked after me like a king. Night after night I returned. The quality of service is unbelievable. The food is high quality. The best thing about the place is the staff. I'd class this place as my local although I live 200 miles away. It's a must visit for everyone in the area. Thank you Britannia for some wonderful evenings.

It's a beautiful pub nestled just off Kensington High Street. It has a great selection of food and drinks and they have two lovely private rooms upstairs that can be made into one. The dining area is also really nice with an open kitchen. I would highly recommend to escape the bustle of the high street and enjoy a quiet drink and some food.

10 of us had a xmas lunch here. Starter soups came out cold, we waited so long for our mains afterward. We were quite unhappy these things happened and received a bottle of prosecco. However it did dampen the mood to try and get their attention several times without anyone asking if we were OK.

The review below is still absolutely valid but I forgot to mention the wonderful staff. From manager on down everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Wonderful, popular Kensington pub. Always welcoming and buzzy. There's a real fire - lovely at this time of the year. The food is typical pub food but well done and with some interesting tweeks. Fresh ingredients, nicely presented. The Sunday roast is one of the best, as are their roast veggies.

The Britannia is one of those gems that stand out because of the fabulous food and the wonderful people that inhabit the space. We are renting a Mews Home close by and have been there several times and have loved it every single moment we were there. The staff is extremely friendly and the general manager, Dan, couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. We will continue to go there for as long as we are in London and come back when we're here again. Highly recommended!

Nice quiet pub in Kensington. Close to high street.

Great open dinning area at the back of the pub, where the light just floods in, whatever the weather. The menu now seems to be heavy on meat with no healthy or light fish options. Thank goodness for interesting mussels dish cooked in IPA!?! Good atmosphere, where one can end chatting to all sorts of people - very friendly local.

Had dinner here with visiting friends and colleagues after striking over from the Royal Albert Hall area. You can choose a path that makes it feel as if London is a classic architectural paradise. The food is good proper British and the ales are kept well (we had a minor issue with one of them, but that can happen and they were happy to replace it). Highly recommended!

Great little restaurang just off the busy shopping street. The starters and main courses were great. The portions are huge so plan you meal. The puddings could be better. You'll probably be quite satisfied with just the mains so you don't miss out on anything if you don't order pudding.

This place is hidden down a side street with no much on it and doesn't look like much more than a standard pub from the outside. once your in though there is a cosy fire in the winter with arm chairs and sofas. Everywhere you sit feels like a cosy little corner. The restaurant round the back though is the reason I would recommend going. The setting, the food and the staff are all selling points.

If you're wandering around Kensington you have to stop there. We were at the Kyoto Gardens, looking for a traditional English pub and we found exactly what we were looking for. Being both vegetarian-friendly, we picked their veggie options, and we simply loved it! Really good coffee as well, definitely a notable spot in Kensington. Will come back! Thank you to the lovely supervisor that served us and to the chef.
