n. m. n.Went to see live music by The (fabulous) Boston Brew. A cosy pub with a friendly atmosphere. Football on TV. Super food van in their heated rear courtyard with amazing meals.Highly recommended.
P. H.Bridges the gap from a 'boring' local boozer to a place worthy for all occasions. Dedicated, lovely staff and an overall great crowd. Unpretentious, top quality liquor served with humour.
L. B.What a lovely pub!! They have a beer garden at the rear too which I didn't know (also outside seating to the front) dog friendly, lovely staff. Also, beautiful glasses, not the usual cheap tumblers! Very nice!

This pub also has a squeaking in the breeze overhead pub sign, which adds atmosphere to any ale house.

W. C.New management have transformed the Clifton Arms into a great meeting place whether for football or just a pint with friends.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and keep the atmosphere in good order - safe and sociable - which is reflected in the greater number of both men and especially women who now regularly frequent the pub both during the day and in the evenings.

J. R.We go here regularly on match day. The beer is good. The service friendly. The only problem is the manager doesn't get in enough staff to cover the rush. They'd make plenty more money and have less thirsty customers if there were a few more drafted in for those few hours.

T. C.Palace pub. Pre & post match beer. Might want to swerve it if you're in a Brighton shirt
g. h.Doom bar, Cumberland and Speckled Hen on tap when I was there (22/09). Very busy when Crystal palace at home but staff on the ball so wait is minimum. Big TV's showing sport and a few outside tables.
P. J.Great place for a pre-match beer or two. Heavily crowded with Crystal Palace supporters makes this place well worth a visit for the die-hard Palace fan. Friendly atmosphere and staff.
G. H.The Clifton was refurbished over the 2019 summer and has now a clean & attractive internal bar plus beer garden at the front (rear beer garden not open last visit). Used by Crystal Palace home supporters with tickets on match days.
