This place serves good honest food, simple ingredients done well. The lunch menu was limited and mainly vegetable based but execution was to a high standard. Saying that we did have the sirloin steak and it was delicious. Nice interesting wines also; We're going again, with our friends!!

Tucked away towards Chalk Farm Road. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, great service and nice and quiet on a Monday afternoon. The perfect spot for lunch in the sun (or shade). Friendly staff and a warm welcome makes a massive difference in a tourist spot. The staff here were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The “Roastie Toastie” special was great. Roast meat, carrots, roast potatoes sandwiches between two flat Yorkshire puddings. The only downside, the gravy was a bit heavy with fat and the roast beef had a large amount of fat on each slice. All in all, generous portion and great value (£8) when you compare the Roastie Toastie to other “dishes” (if you can call them that) from other stalls on the market! Will definitely be back again!

We had really lovely, excellent value food at the Farrier and they have some great vegetarian and vegan options. Just so tasty! They've thought a lot about their menu and use seasonal, good quality produce, which shows! They have lovely wines as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really attentive. We didn't take our pooch although we saw one inside so we believe they are dog friendly. Will definitely be returning!

Had Sunday roast today. Great looking setting, friendly staff, pared down menu and upmarket pricing, I was expecting great things. The food did not match all the other elements. The roast potatoes were the main offenders with not a hint of crunch to be found anywhere but plenty of burnt. All washed down with the bottomless gravy. Thickened but watery and lacking in flavour. Would have gladly traded “bottomless” for tasty reduced meat juices. Meat was nice and veggies were nice. But not the roast it should have been.

Friendly staff, superb venue with plenty of sun and outdoor seating (+ punchy soundsystem for a pub!) and high quality food and drinks. Having said this, we were slightly let down by two things: 1) Why were the Margherita cocktails served in the same glasses as still water? Taste was amazing but presentation not so much. 2) The amount of cheese on the cheese platter was disappointing; again, high quality but the slices could not have been any thinner! A Gluten free beer option would have also have been welcomed. Would have been 5* if not for the above.

I've eaten at the Farrier twice now. The first visit was great, they did a fabulous glazed cauliflower sandwich for a weekday lunch special (sounds weird, but go for it, it's incredible -- please add it to the regular menu!) and they've done a great job turning what was a rubbish pile in an alley of Camden Market into a small outdoor dining terrace -- it's a gorgeous sun trap on a nice day. However, our second visit was with young children and I'd made a booking note requesting a high chair weeks in advance. They called an hour before the booking to say they do not have highchairs, and they don't have a children's menu. I think the latter is fine, as you can generally ascertain this yourself by looking at the website, but for a pub in a family area of London (Kentish Town, Primrose Hill, Regent's Park) it seems really odd not to have a few high chairs. If they don't want children, that's totally fine too (I also long for the days when I could have lunch uninterrupted!) but they should make this clear on the website when booking. We have a squirmy two year old so ended up bringing our own - super awkward and not ideal (!) but there's no way we'd get a booking anywhere else on a Sunday for six people with an hour's notice. The roast was pretty underwhelming for the price. The meat was nice, but cold. Veggies were cold. Check the menu and price before you go. Not to rain on the parade, the space looks great, and I'd like to try indoors, but there's a few easy fixes that would make this a real asset to Camden market and a regular haunt for us.

Definitely one of the best pubs I've been to in London. Tucked away near the former horse stables in Camden Market, the Farrier has a good selection of whiskies, beer and a great cocktail menu. The food is top notch and they have live DJs on the weekends playing anything from retro house to funk. Definitely recommend especially if there's a group of you!

I ate at the Farrier on Saturday evening during its first week of opening. The food was amazing, I had the rack of lamb which was perfectly cooked, and some of the best meat that's been in my mouth. Make sure you order the chips, they are chunky, and the curry sauce that comes with it will blow your mind but not your spice tolerance. The house wine has a funny name (Chin chin), but it is easy on the palate and before you know it you'll be ordering the 2nd bottle. I also had a whiskey sour cocktail which was delightful and very nice. Don't hesitate, just book a table.

It's so lovely here! It's gorgeous to look at, the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly and the food is great. I recommend the sunday roast! Big portion sizes and they gave us numerous gravy top ups with no extra charge. I'm pregnant so stuck to soft drinks, but my husband said 'the beer is great!' :) Highly recommend. (I also recommend walking around the market afterwards! So cool.)

We had the most lovely evening at the Farrier last week, sitting outside in a cosy area which has heaters and fire pits. The staff are really friendly and full of tips about the menu (and the huge wine list!) The food was incredible!! - Can highly recommend the spring pea tartlets and the crab mac n cheese. I visited The Farrier on the 18th April for a roast dinner and drinks with my family. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, nice to sit out in the courtyard with the outdoor fireplaces. I had the roast chicken which was delicious and I had TWO deserts - the custard tart and the banana tart, both incredible. Serving staff were happy to be there and helpful with all of our requests!
