W. C.I have to comment upon this cosy warm family run local. Large sports screen with the viewing of our queen upon show. A few locals and the snooker table in prime position. Good solid seats with cosy atmosphere. All facilities and guidelines are in place. On my request for an uncommon drink; the young man serving the customers moved right into action by finding a knowledgeable elder who knew of my drink request and was swift to teach the young man serving exactly how it is made to perfection. I was very impressed and delighted by the customer care and thought given toward my request. That made my first visit to this establishment very rewarding and we shall go there again with pleasure. Well done Flower Pot Team....blessedness

P. H.Nice old fashioned pub with 'character'🤔. Actually one of the few truly old fashioned pubs left round here. Decent pint of Guiness - difficult to mess that up. Avoid the other beers as the ones I tried tasted flat and a bit stale. can't halep but feel this place will be swept up by the tied of gentrification washing down Wood St. though.

C. B.It's a great pub, with good prices on beer. The staff are also really friendly and for any Pokemon go players, it's also a pokestop. They have no kitchen, but allow food to be brought in from outside.
All in all, it's a great place too relax with friends, watch the football. Or just wanna take a break from them long poke walks.
W. J.Fantastic friendly, good old fashioned pub... Great staff and clientele and a dcent choice of beverages... Good duke box and decent bands entertain you at the weekend.
Oh and Sundays you get to burst your vocal chords at an half decent Karaoke if you can get the mike off the landlord or some of the bar staff...
They've just undertaken a bit of a refurb, inside and out... The garden has been upgraded to provide tasty pizzas and sides... Oh and he's only stuck a Tele out there too... Great viewing the world cup while having a beer and a munch out doors.

Popped in for a quick pint told to sit down and bar lady would take my order. Waited 10 minutes (not busy) and when she disappeared into the loo I left. She was literally taking the piss!
T. L.The pubs great. The beers great. The atmosphere is great. The best pub to visit and watch all sporting events and live music. Staff are very pleasant in particular denise and emma. The best bit about the pub is the landlord. Who has a wicked sense of humour and was born to be the landlord of the best pub ever. Get down there. now has craft beers and top real ale on offer. Also coming is an outside pizza oven and cocktail bar, which im sure will be a huge hit with all us locals. Keep going guys top place.....
J. M.Getting quite rare now.. a large unmodernised pub with old original carpets etc. It can be lively when they have live music with people of all shapes and sizes getting down. The beer tasted fine but after an hour or two it was time to go.
M. K. L.I've visited the Flower Pot a few Sundays since management change. It's the best evening of all the week. Stuart, who host the karaoke evening has one of the best sound system and song selection in town. It's a pleasure to hear so many great singers.

M. K.One of sadly a few real pubs remaining in "Awesomestow" with a decent mix of old and new beers and ales and a somewhat huge choice in gins for a wee bar. Popular with all ages and backgrounds let's hope they don't get "chained" or turned beiges. Well kept beers and choice of wines, food is plain and simple, rolls and crisps,nuts etc.
So an update!!! They now have a pizzeria serving beautifully fresh hot pizza and calzone to your design. Really reasonably priced and so tasty. Great for family outdoor dining too.

S.An old style public house with a twist, something for everyone, a good beverage selection, an area outside partly covered and at peak times food and live entertainment are available, an oasis for the traditional pub user.
g. p.Having grown up as a kid in the 1970's I we lived at 165 wood Street I spent most days playing with friends in the park behind the flowerpot it was very popular with the school teachers from Warwick boys the old chippy is still there too where I would pay 10p for a portion of chips for my lunch.
As an adult now the flowerpot is my first choice of family pub to spend the evening chatting with old friends even now in 2017 it's the most friendly little local put to meet new friends and have a great time the barstaff are like family .
