Reviews of The Fox and Pheasant

This little mews pub is absolutely delightful. It was so warm, friendly and inviting. It's beautifully decorated and the menu looks amazing. We only popped in to have a look as we heard great things about it, and will definitely be back!

Very lovely place. Actually one of the best I have ever visited. Atmosphere, food, drink, staff - all above the average level. Recommended! We will come back soon.

The Chicken Kiev is crispy on the outside, moist and bt try on the inside, cooked to perfection. The haricot verts are crunchy. They offer your choice of fries or chips, (the difference for the foreigners is chips are thick, French fries are long and narrow). The Grilled chicken salad was spot on, chicken warm salad cool. Tomatoes on point. Enjoy the house Lager or scan the menu for the 6.2% beer. If you found this review useful follow me for more.

Tucked down a side alley not far from a Tesco Express & the wonderful Brompton Cemetery is The Fox & Pheasant. Get there after lunch, and before dinner for a rather special bar menu. The classic burger is elevated with their spicy smoky tomato relish, and chips are crispy and fluffy.
Keep your eye on the house pooch who'll surreptitiously appear at your side with his pleading/demanding puppy dog eyes.
A cosy place to be with just the right amount of new meeting old... And a definite for fox lovers 🦊

Fun quirky venue. Reasonable priced drinks and food is nice. The sweet potato fries were way too salty!

Staff were very lovely and friendly. It's a small area so a bit concerned about ventilation in covid times but the food made me forget about that.
Squid starter to die for. No need for the knife and fork provided. Finger food all the way with that squid! Roast beef was gorgeous. Horseradish cleared my sinuses, just as I like it. One small constructive criticism: More veg please. The Yorkshire is twice the size it needs to be but the Great British Roast has to have a decent amount of veg! Green beans were gorgeous but double them please or give me some carrots or cauliflower cheese. Roasties were perfect. Apple crimble nice. Wine good too.
Worth the 12.5% service charge as the staff are top notch. They all seem to like working there. Always a good sign.
James, your pub is worth a visit. Not keen on your music but would love to buy you a pint as you've done a fab job with the pub/restaurant. And you are a funny guy. You are on my dinner party guest list!

Lovely spot though all 4 of us had to send our main dishes back as they were far from hot enough.... think bread with start was microwaved as came VERY hard. As with the sticky toffee pudding ... 4 of us could not finish one as the middle was hard (microwaved?) .. however my turkey dinner was scrumptious! DOG FRIENDLY 🐕 PUB always a win

Food was hit and miss. Excellent scotch egg, very mediocre hamburger, and excellent sweet potato Wellington. The dessert was also very good, and the cocktails did their job. Not exceptional, and the burgers really need work, but it would appear that's more a function of my poor choices than anything else.

My girlfriend and I recently moved into the Fulham neighborhood and have been searching for a place that would be our go to pub in the area and this is it!
Absolutely loved the conservatory dining area and the menu is surprisingly elegant for a pub. I definitely recommend trying the truffle toast with brie and honey drizzle from the starters and the guinea fowl breast from the mains.
Greg - our host was delightful. Just made the experience even better.
Would highly recommend and we are definitely returning again and again and again.

I've been working in the area for a while watching the fox and pheasant go through a makeover and I'm pleased to say they have done a fantastic job with comfortable surroundings, great staff and a good selection of beers.
